She was not sad to see the charge attack go in the opposite direction from where she stood, as she moved to shoot the girl's shields again. Unfortunately, her attack, much like Ofelia's, missed their target. Whoops. :Really, Kat..?:

Maybe Ofelia felt a little like she was being mocked. Like her opponent didn't take her seriously enough to attack because she had turned her charge away at the last minute and totally spared her life. That thought would have made the normal Ofelia just ignore it, she was used to people thinking horrible things about her, but seeing as her weapon was out and her thoughts were strong fused to an absent Rue, it made her angry.
Or at least annoyed.
The end result of that was the redhead charged at Kat and moved to strike at her with a single swipe, the blades of her weapon more than ready to taste more FEAR and blood. Ofelia didn't need a charge attack to take her down, it always felt so much better doing it with her bare hands.

Kat was completely unaware of Ofelia being pissed off with her last attack. Had she had know, she might have said something, but with her history of combat, hunters usually knew she had the odd miss here and there. Sometimes more so than other battles.
Gritting her teeth, she aimed her weapon at the girl, clipping her shield.

Three strikes meant a charge, right? Ofelia was fairly certain the bullets had been soft hits and were only meant for something greater. The result of that was she stopped her chase of the running target and moved into a fighting stance as if she were ready to take down anything that came her way.
Her shield hadn't even been knocked down from the top part and her opponent wasn't bleeding yet. This was hardly a fun fight.

With Xedis charged and ready, Kat jumped back and away from Ofelia to get as much space as she could between the two of them. If this attacked hit, even if if didn't, it was going to sting like a b***h.
Drawing both guns, Kat aimed for her target and squeezed the trigger, loosing her charge attack upon opponent.

Ouch, ouch ouch ouch. The redhead hadn't quite expected something like that to come from her opponent who had only been shooting bullets so when the attack hit her and practically shattered her expectations Ofelia could only accept it.
Everything stung, her shield was over half down, but a grin started to leak itself across her features. Ofelia knew that type of attack, she'd seen many others perform it and watched them get hurt in the process, so as soon as everything finished and the world stopped swimming before her eye she started to lunge forward.
The enemy had to be wounded, had to be easy to take down. There was no way that Ofelia wasn't going to pass up on getting to see some red. Her blades came in a strong arc as she went in, ready for more. Who cared if the person she was fighting was a fellow Sun with a nearly broken shield? Suns needed to be ready to die at any time, any place. Ofelia was more than ready to show this fact.

From her attack, she could already tell that her fear shield was close to dropping completely. She was tired, and could barely move in time when Ofelia came back around to attack again. Bringing up her hands, she attempted to block the worst of the attack as best she could, gritting her teeth as the blades clashed with her shield again.
"Okay.." She spoke, dropping her hands to her side and desummoning her weapons. "I think you've won this battle. My shield is pretty close to breaking now." Normally she would have gone out to the end, but as this was a spar, there was really no point in continuing this further.

Ofelia didn't dismiss her weapon, didn't stand down. Instead as she watched Kat try to surrender she simply felt anger bubble in her, anger that a fellow Sun would so easily give everything up.
"No. Draw yer weapon back, defend yerself." The bladed knuckles on her hands were raised up into a striking position with a clear warning. Ofelia would be attacking her again if she didn't run or get someone to stop. There was nothing there that told her in the back of her mind that purposefully hurting someone after a surrender was unacceptable. There was only a cold silence, the want to see red, and the disgust that a Sun Hunter was saying they couldn't handle anymore. "If ya don't Ah kill ya."hp 22 damage - charge 2 [ 1 ]

Furrowing her brow, she stared the other girl down. Was she serious? This was a bloody spar! "Ofelia, its a spar. You won, why are you so aggressive? If you think knocking me down and beating me when my shields are so low is the way to go, then you really need to calm down. Go ahead and attack me if you want, but I'm done here. I'm not summoning my weapons to satisfy you're need for blood."

As if to show she was serious, or perhaps to show that maybe something was seriously wrong, Ofelia simply took a step forward with her weapon still primed at the ready. The silence was somewhat singing in her head now, her mind making up noise to fill the void since she couldn't get her opponent to do it for her, and "We're not supposed ta give up until we can't stay anymore. We're cannon fodder, what makes ya think it's okay ta stand down?" Her eye seemed to widen as she asked and her head tilted a little. "Ya think an enemy on the field is gonna accept yer surrender? Ya think layin' yer weapons down at their feet is gonna stop 'em from tearin' inta ya?"
Each step brought her closer to her target and her weapon was still out. For the most part she hadn't made like she was going to attack, merely threaten, but the movement had not stopped. "We're Suns, ya only dismiss yer weapon when yer dead or it gets taken from ya." The last part sounded weird to say.

"Dear, God.." Placing her hands on her hips, she shook her head. "We may be suns, but no.. just because we're from that division doesn't mean that you need to kick someone while they're down, Ofie. If this was a real battle, and you were an actual enemy, then yeah, of course I wouldn't lay down my weapons. But you're not, and this is just a spar.
What are you going to achieve from getting that last hit in a spar, aside from your need for blood?" She asked, noting her slow advance. If she was going to strike her, then she could go right ahead, but she wasn't going to bother summoning her weapons again. Not for this.
"The point of this spar was practice. Nothing more."

"There's no such thing as practice. None." Ofelia finally sighed after a moment and raised her hand up. Her fingers gingerly tapped the side of her head once, twice, and she continued tapping for a moment before finally the weapon completely vanished. "Ah hate spars, they always make mah head hurt unless in the end Ah'm covered in red. She only talks a little ta me when the red comes, otherwise it's so quiet."
Was Ofelia talking about Rue? The weapon didn't speak to her even when the redhead was covered in blood or fully charged so perhaps she was talking about herself. Either way it sounded crazy and she tapped her head again with the full awareness that she was looking like some sort of mentally imbalanced person before someone who had willingly wanted to spar. "Ya still get the voices though, right? Yer partner still talks ta ya, right? Yer lucky then." The tapping stopped and Ofelia rubbed her hands together. "Ah gotta practically kill someone b'for she even makes a sound."

Pressing her lips into a thin line, she watched her, easing up a little as she folded her arms over her chest. She took a guess that the one she was speaking of was her weapon, as every hunter had their own 'voices' in their head.
So it was her weapon that drove her to such madness? As if pleasing her by spilling the blood of an opponent? That wasn't a very health relationship..
"Yes, Xedis still talks to me. He has his times where he is quiet, but for the most part he is there." She started, placing a hand on Ofie's shoulder. "If your weapon isn't talking to you for those reasons, then you shouldn't feel the need to please her. Trust me, if Xedis tried something like that with me, then he wouldn't like the end result.
I'm not all sure what you can do about your situation, but maybe you can ask one of the division leads or someone about it?"Rown I haven't forgotten~ I just haven't got around to Mei's stuff right now. l D;

Ofelia nearly tried to shrug out of the hand on her shoulder, or perhaps grab it and place Kat into a painful hold, but rather she just stood there and accepted it. The other Sun's words sort of rushed in one ear and out the other with talk and it prompted a bitter cackle. "Oh please. Ah'm not important 'nough ta merit their time." She started bluntly. "Not ta mention would they even bother? They'd jus' shove me back inta a pod an' call it a day - no one wants ta deal wit' a hunter havin' issues. Unless of course they're the local favorites."
The thought of being shoved back into a dark pod to sleep forever....wasn't entirely as terrifying as it should be. The only worry she had was that she wouldn't see people anymore and they would live their lives without her. There was also the thought that they could die and she'd never know which...made her a little uneasy. "An' also do ya know a single lead here who cares 'bout any'a us? Be honest."LividPeas oh no, you're fine > ___ < i'm so behind on everything, i'm glad you tagged because it's making me have to do everything again XD

It was true, that trying to get help from a division lead would be difficult, but not necessarily impossible. "There is no harm in trying to ask one of them. If you can't go to one of them, try one of their assistants. But I doubt they would throw you back into the pods for something like that." She had no idea what she meant about local favorites, but then again, she never hung around the division leads enough to know.
At her question, she allowed a smile to appear on her features. "Allan, our division lead. He has gone out of his way to help us before, and cares a lot for us."
