The baltoy tugged at his hood to conceal his face as he hovered comfortably near the ground. Amias mostly kept to himself when he arrived at the meeting, carefully listening in without ever muttering a word. Naturally, he gravitated towards Zale, hoping for whatever sliver of comfort the familiar presence might provide. When the grass-type departed the baltoy drifted in his direction as if to follow him from a distance.

Jaime casually took a seat next to Vincent, offering the fox a wide grin as he closed the space between them. "Heya. I'm Iceberg. Nice to meet you." He muttered the introduction quickly as if it was more of a bothersome obstacle he had to overcome before he could access the alliance he craved. "I wasn't really paying attention." He offered a guilty look and a subtle shrug as he continued. "Are we going to the Pool of Tears, or something?"

Zale felt another nearby, head jerking to the side and eyes narrowing viciously, about to threaten the stalker until, suddenly, he spotted Amias. Familiar feelings of comfort flickered within his chest, remembering that the male had been a quiet but pleasant company when they were children. Right now he wanted quiet. He had abandoned all his friends recently, however Amias? The male was quiet and never asked for much, and he never judged Zale back when they were children and Zale was more.... pathetic. Slowing his pace, he slipped beside Amias, eyes drifting to view the other.

"Good morning, Amias. It's been awhile." A rare but pleasant smile crossed his face, though he awkwardly hid it with a flick of his head, sending hair to cover his expression. Ah. He needed to work on that.

The sound of his friend sent Isaac almost in a tizzy. Immediately, the slim but strong boy whirled around, instantly latching himself to Briar once he ran the required amount of steps. Long arms draped around the boys shoulders, mermaid tail wagging like a dogs. Briar was here! What a lovely surprise!

"Briar! Where ya been?" Red eyes flicked about, glaring at random strangers getting too close to Briar before they settled back on his friend. Isaac only really knew four people, and only approved three to be near Briar.

Hm? The ninetails flicked his many tails when he heard a voice, head jerking up, casting long hair down his shoulders. Jaime's introduction caused a smile to cross the idols lips, his many tails wagged and thumping against one another in his clumsy joy. He was used to fans approaching, asking for autographs and caring little for his actual being. He was not used to someone approaching for casual conversation. This was his chance to make a real friend. Not those fake friends that flocked to you in groups, asking you personal questions with a notepad and pencil in hand. No no. This was different.

"Ah." Came the first sound out of the fire-types mouth. "I think we are tomorrow. Today we're being given a chance to think it over? I believe." His narrow eyes drifted to view Iceberg, tails flicking in thought before he realized he had yet to offer his own name. "I'm Vincent."

It was strange to hear that something was going on within Diamonds. Never before had Severin though that anything even remotely dangerous might be going on here within his homeland, but he supposed things happened sometimes that were unable to be stopped. Still, when a carrier pigeon had arrived with a letter that held a request of meeting up somewhere. Severin had managed to figure out just where the place was as he found himself sitting at a table filled with many others. His purple eyes scanned the unfamiliar faces of all the others, unsure of what to think as he looked back towards Faust, listening to his words closely. Come with him . . . to the Pool of Tears? It sounded as if it were somewhere wet, but that wasn't about to stop him. It seemed like it might be fun, like an adventure of sorts and seeing others going . . . why not go along too? "I will go as well, Faust," he spoke up for the first time, instantly standing from his chair. It was no time for a tea party right now. Besides, he wasn't a big fan of them.

With that, he wandered off to where he had seen the others go, hurrying to follow after them. Severin still wasn't entire sure what was going on, but he wanted to be involved in it and possible make a friend or two. If that was even possible, anyway. His peachy-orange tail dragged along the ground behind him as he hurried along as he got closer to the group, except he didn't realize he should have slowed down a little before he bumped into one of the boys that were standing around, one that seemed to be a Mudkip or something of that sort when he finally looked up in embarrassment of bumping into him. He hoped he hadn't hurt him. "A-ah! I'm sorry . . . I didn't realize where I was going . . ." he said as he looked away almost shamefully. He hated causing troubles to someone, especially when there were other people around as well.

Briar couldn't help but to giggle when Isaac ran up to him. He felt him wrapping his arms around him and returned the hug back to him. Before speaking, he could see those bright red eyes glaring around him at the people who are standing near by but he merely ignored that as he smiled. "I've been here really. But it's just so great to see you again, just like from last time." It definitely felt like last time of the Faction tour which does make him feel happy despite the situation at hand. He wanted to introduce his friend to him but taking a brief glance . . . Maddox seemed to be busy and doesn't want to bother him at all.

-------------

The Mudkip has been standing around in seeing the people. How busy it was at the Diamonds? It was something that he has never really experience in his life. But then again he merely stays at home instead of going out to these sort of things. They're far too complicated to him that he was still in thought about the dream that his faction leader's brother was talking about earlier. However he was bumped out of those thoughts when he felt something bumped right into him.

It did took him a while recognize that it was a bump though for it didn't really hurt him at all or be fazed by it. But he turned around to see the person; a young . . . Dragonite? It made the Mudkip tilt his head to one side to observe him better and seeing the little shameful look on his face. He never seen anyone like him before. Fascinating. And he smiled as he lifts his head to pet him on the head in response. "Not a problem." It was friendly gesture of course just to assure him that no harm was done. "My name is Maddox. What's yours?" He seemed to be saying that a lot now. Something that he's not use to but it doesn't bother him much. Nothing really does to be honest.

Toby watched the ghost float with a grin. One day he'd figure out a way to do that, despite being substantially heavier and unable to levitate. He was a stubborn frog, that one, and took it as a personal challenge.

"Wha-oh! Yer right! Sorry, pal, I weren't tryin'a ignore ya!" He blinked his emerald eyes, which then were turned to the boy he'd never met. His grin seemed to widen - if that was even possible at this point - and he offered Kian a hand, which was well worn with hard work and long healed scars from practicing. Playing with fire and sharp objects wasn't exactly easy or safe!

"Th'names Tobias and yep! Y'ever been 'round Clubs, you probably done seen me. I'm a fire-breather, best damn fire-breather this side'a wonderland. What can I do ya for?"

Atticus tsked quietly, but it faded as Firefly began to speak again. Atticus rather liked riddles and challenging the mind in general, but that was his cup of tea and not everyone else's.

"I've always been fond of them, but that means little. You do well with your weapons. Sometimes that's all you need, a good defense." It was about that time that Piper and Jolly ruined the table. The young man's brow furrowed and that polite air he had masked himself with for the general interactions started to strain and crack.

"Excuse me. Could someone get that animal off the table? And the goat, too?" He raised his voice, something he rarely did, but his tone was even and politely condescending. He wasn't here to put up with these filthy lowlifes. He had been summoned here to help with something, not play keeper to some man who stank worse than a horse's backside.

"And you, Zebstrike, quit wandering around like you've not got half a mind. Were you late? Faust already explained to us what was going on." He motioned towards an empty chair. This was going to be a long trip as a delegate, he could feel it.

"Oh, well sorry, its not my fault if I arrived late," he muttered as he rolled his eyes. Who was this trying to tell him what to do? Zorro hated being ordered around but he did sit in the empty chair. "I got held up on my way here."

The zebstrika looked at the one who'd addressed him, looked them up and down. "Well since you seem to know everything why don't you tell me what's going on."

Malo watched the pair with curious interest. He hadn't been around any of Toby's other friends and it was sort of neat to see how someone interacts with others. He busied himself, stuffing a cake into his face and happily devouring it, then another, all the while his eyes scanning for something to prank.

Seems like another already did so, further down the table. The goat was a nice touch but his face fell when the cupcakes were ruined.

Piper smiled over his shoulder, hearing the unkind words. "Its alright, its alright. Jolly's okay." He looked the goat over and the two had a darling little headbutt. "You just wanted some honey with your tea, didn't you?" He grabbed the honey and finally descended the table, letting the goat eat from its opening.

Firefly rolled his eyes at all the interruptions. "This is hardly any tea party I've ever been to." He had been to the socialite parties, filled with elites and bachelors, where it was poor form to speak out of turn or to sit with one's elbows on the table.

Firefly's anger was now directed to the Zebstrika. "Perhaps you could figure out what's going on for yourself and not be so chauvanistic and rude. People are trying to have a conversation. We're not the ones who held you up, nor are we the directors. Ask someone else." He fumed over his tea, chugging it down and regaining his bright expression.

"So, Atticus, how have things been in Hearts?"

"Punctuality should be a virtue. It's incredibly rude to our hosts to arrive late or early." He lectured sternly, green eyes narrowed almost to slits as he did his best to keep that exterior that Ivan insisted he have. He had to act normal. Normal. If he didn't, he'd never fit in. He was still peeved, though, and he felt as though the zebstirke was antagonizing him, despite the fact that he was the one who called out the electric type first. The whirlipede frowned.

"You'd do best to check yourself or you'll make the wrong sort of enemies around here. Faust has already spoken to us - mentioned dreams his brother has been having. You can either choose to accompany him or not - but you'd best improve your manners if you plan on assisting a faction head, boy. What faction do you even hail from? Alice help you you don't wind up in the Hearts' Dungeon." And, without fail, the jealous flareon was tugging the insect's attention back to him. He almost laughed at the brat's efforts to sway the electric-type, but his only expression of such a thing was a faint, ghost of a grin.

"It's been alright, Firefly - could be worse, anyway. My schooling is going well. How has Spades been?"

Toby spared a glance across the table, attention briefly caught by bickering. Looked like Atticus and Firefly were at it again! He wasn't going to let those brats or Piper ruin his evening, though, and kept his focus on Kian. He didn't know the other, but entertainers were like family - so Kian was almost like family by default.

It was chaotic already and Lexiel groaned as if woken from a slumber from where he had slid against some sturdy object. His clothes were tattered and baggy, the hood over his head covering any features which may have been seen. Rolling his shoulders forward he stood, pocketing his hands with a yawn. Merely it was for show as the boy had been quite attentive despite the nearby chatter.

There were no familiar faces in these parts, aside from those which everyone knew and he shuffled between a few, catching bits and parts of conversations which should probably be left private. The boy shrugged, finally settling to standing near a full plate. It was a quick snatch to stuff his face with some sort of dessert, of which he immediately deemed too sweet and spat into a napkin. Like usual he'd have to settle on tea and did so, taking a full cup nearby and sipping it down in a rather unbecoming manner.

He felt bodies come closer to his whereabouts and clattered his cup down, taking a sidestep and blinking with his one visible, brilliantly colored, blue eye. It wouldn't take a detective to realize his nervousness in the crowd as he looked them over again. Not so much out of fear but just out of closed quarters he was busy fidgeting.

When it dawned on him that this is just how its going to be he managed to mutter a "Hello." To anyone near him that might listen.

This better be worth all this fuss. He thought to himself, taking back to the comfort of the cup of tea again. At least if anything else, the tea was quite exquisite.

Andreas' fluffy ears perked and he turned to the hooded man. A small frown lit his lips, a bit scared of the man who sat there and hated sweets. He liked sweets, mostly jam, and looked at the plate before him. It had a nice soft biscuit, buttered, with a smear of raspberry jam. He nervously picked up the plate and passed it to the stranger. "Here. This is really tasty." As he spoke, his tail brushed at the table and swept the surface of it clean until no crumb was left.

Lexiel turned, his visible eye focusing on Andreas as he passed the plate nervously. Setting down the tea he looked it over, blinking a few times as if to analyze its contents. With one quick motion the biscuit disappeared into his mouth. He managed to swallow it, finding it more edible than the frosted-covered-whatever-it-might-be that he tried before.

The boy in front of him was of an odd sort and seemed to tremble by just staring at him. He watched in a keen interest as the other was content to clean the table. Lexiel tilted a head, perplexed. "It's only going to get dirty again." He muttered, grabbing for the same cup of tea he'd been nursing since standing near the table. He slid into the chair, staring into the dark liquid as it was continually disappearing.

Brooding over the dilemma of drinking it down to being gone and wanting it to remain, he shot a strange sort of look back. "So..."

My, he had eaten that treat fast! Andreas' eyes went wide and he looked back to the plate, now empty. "you were supposed to eat it slowly and enjoy it." He muttered, sitting back in his seat, depressed to see that the plate of rolls had moved on down the table.

"It will be half the mess when it gets dirty again." he said, picking the last crumb up in his hand and flicking it away. "I can't stand the mess at this table but it would take too long to tidy on my own. At least my spot can be clean." He shied further into his chair. "I'm Andreas, the dormouse. At least, that's what everyone keeps calling me."

"If I ate it slowly it might get too sweet." Lexiel retorted back to him, finally succumbing to the smell of the tea, downing it and setting the cup down with a small burp. "I think its a waste of time at a party table, it's going to keep coming down with more and you'll be back up to your eyeballs in crumbs."

"Huh. Dormouse." Something attempted to click into his brain but failed to properly connect and he reached over the table, grabbing a large teapot. "I'm Lexiel." He said with a shrug, lifting the pot up and drinking from the spout. Luckily no one had gotten to sweetening it just yet and he rather enjoyed the bitter taste.

He set it down and the table seemed to shake a little. "I'm just here." He continued with another shrug. Clearly he wasn't used to socializing in this manner at least.

Severin still felt terrible about bumping into the poor boy that had probably been innocently standing around minding his own business but it was far too late to try and fix things. At least that's what he felt like. For a moment he thought that the other boy would be angry that he had bumped into him, but it surprised him when the Mudkip had smiled and pet him on the head, saying that it was no problem and even introduced himself and ask him for his name. He stared with wide purple wide in astonishment, blinking a few times before his lip curled up into a toothy grin, leaning into the hand petting his head. Thankfully he seemed to be nice.

He grabbed the hand that was on his head and pulled it down so he could give it a shake before letting go, his grin only growing. "I'm Severin," he said as he reached up to brush his blonde hair out of his face, although he found himself looking around for a moment afterward before looking back at Maddox. "So . . . what do you think of all of this? It's always been so nice and calm here . . . I don't know how this could happen . . ."

Gauvain meant to say something to Maddox, he really did. He really, truly meant to reply to Briar, and greet Isaac, but the little Swanna was so excited by the sheer number of individuals at the gathering that he was always running off in all directions. In fact, he next ran right up to the stranger with tattered clothing. "Hello! It's a pleasure to meet you!" Gauvain gushed, his little white wings fanning out, blue eyes flecked with gold shimmering.

"If you'll excuse me, I'm late for something!" Gauvain added, and then the barefooted swanna darted off to greet Severin, whose name he heard in passing. "Things can't be calm all the while! Oh, hello again, Maddox-- sorry I keep running off in all directions at once..." Gauvain flashed him a smile, as if to say: You should really forgive me though, shouldn't you, because I'm here now. He wouldn't be for long, though-- the Swanna was getting sleepy. He rubbed at one eye and his little wings tucked up behind his back. He was trying not to show it, but he was definitely a tired kid.

He waved sleepily at Andreas, smiling. He had pretty much run out of energy to contribute anything meaningful to any interactions, now, but he clearly didn't want to head up to the dormitories alone.

--

Kian grinned at Toby. Fire! That was great. "I'm an acrobat," he said, flipping over and holding himself up on the fingertips of one hand, before releasing his body back to the ground. "The sky's the limit, even without wings," he said. Flightless Angel, that would be his stage name, once he really got to take to the stage on his own. Kian was not worried at all, not about anything, for the time being.

He leaned in, as if conspiratorially: "Do you think there's anything to those rumours? And his crazy brother?" he nodded his head in the direction Faust and his bro had been sitting.
