"Oh, I'd love to!" the girl exclaimed. "I've been looking to get into some new sports, find some new teams to cheer for. Rugby isn't all that popular around these parts, but I miss being able to root for someone. When is your next game? —If you don't know the schedule, you can feel free to text me! Here," she lifted her sandwich, took a large bite out of it, and then proceeded to fish through her bag. She pulled out a small scrap of paper and a pen and neatly printed her name and number before sliding it over. "I mean, if your girlfriend asks, you can just tell her I'm an avid sports fan and not trying to creep up on her man or anything, all right?" she asked, laughing for good measure.

Trevor chuckles lightly taking the piece of paper from her hand " thanks" he told her before tucking it away in his pocket. He glanced at her " well, to,be honest i don't have a gilrfriend yet" he told her " so nothing to worry about there" he put in with a light smile. "Well, once i find out when my next game is I'll send you a text message" he told her.

"You?" Anella asked, seeming in slight disbelief. "No girlfriend? Oh, my. I'm surprised the girls aren't swarming over a guy like you. Cute, athletic, charming. Likes dogs. The dogs are always a plus," she grinned. "Just give it some time. After you guys start bringing in some trophies, you'll probably be beating the rest of the ladies off with a stick."
She took another bite of her sandwich, not really as ladylike as she should have been. In fact, with a single guy in front of her, she should have tossed her hair over her shoulder, offered a wink, maybe a sultry laugh…instead, she ended up with pepper in here eye and some mayonnaise dripping down her chin.
It was definitely not as flattering as she'd have liked. Hastily, while still munching on the sandwich, she groped for a napkin and mopped at her face, hoping her cheeks weren't as red as they felt.

" trust me, I'm just as shocked as you are" he told her with a light chuckle, not many girls were flocking after him let alone his team mates, but he was pretty sure some girls will end up doing so eventually. But, for the time being he was alright with being single, for the most part although he would like a girlfriend one day.
He tilted his head as she mopped up her face before speaking up "what about you? A boyfriend in the picture?" He asked carefully, hoping that wasn't too direct. Since they were talking about relationships, he figured he would continue the topic.

"Oh—yeah, no. Not right night. I have a habit of falling for guys who are totally head over heels for other ladies. Not on purpose. I mean, it's hard enough finding a guy I fall for—much less him being single. But," she sighed. "I guess I have a bit of an overbearing personality. I mean, I'd love to play the perfect housewife role? But that's…not coming along as well as I'd like. I guess I'm a little too idealistic. Already have this whole thing structured in my head. So I guess that can be a bit daunting. That and it's kinda tough to win my dad's approval," she laughed. "And I have a big dog? I mean, I guess that's kind of a turn off to some guys. And," she sighed, a bit dramatically. The worst part of it all was, "I can't…really cook, either…"

Trevor blinks as he listened to her before lightly patting her on the shoulder "Slow down, Anella..I only got half of that" he told her with a light shake of his head. "listen..I'm sure you will find someone you feel is worth spending time with..besides..if you don't know how to cook...that's fine..learning to cook is well a learning process. I'm learning how to cook as well" he told her with a light nod. "I wouldn't say Having a big dog is a turn off. I'm not turned off by it. Even though there are some guys who are" he told her.

"Aw," she smiled, "That's really sweet of you, thanks, Trevor." She had to remind herself not to speed through her words; when she got excited or enthusiastic, she tended to talk a little too quickly. "I'm in a couple of cooking classes as is. You know, really working on that. It's something that's important to me. I don't really have anyone to try out my food on though, sans Doggy, but he'll kinda eat just about anything. One of these days, I'm sure things will line up and it'll all work out. But I'm not going to push it. I mean, I'd hate to end up with the wrong guy just because I was too impatient to wait for the right one to come around, you know what I mean?" she asked, wondering if all of this might be a bit too personal to be laying on a guy she just met ten minutes ago.

Trevor chuckles lightly and shrugs " i try" he told her with a light smile. "Well, that's good i have a friend who is willing to teach me to cook so i'm working on my cooking skills" he told her nodding his head. " i don't exactly have anyone to taste test my cooking so yeah" he told her and tilted his head " i don't want to rush it either, thought i don't mind dating" he told her, he thought about it. He was wondering if that was too personal on his part.He was both flattered and suprised that she would confined in him. Given the fact that they just met not too long ago.

She nodded. "Well, that's wise of you. A lot of people I've met are still in the high school dating mind frame, like—'oh, look at my arm candy,'" she said, making a ridiculous face and speaking in a deeper, comical voice before she returned to her natural pitch and continued, "I mean, not that you're like that or anything. I know plenty of girls who are the same way. It's just that I'm not looking for arm candy or like, a snuggle buddy. I want a serious relationship, and I guess that's too serious for what a lot of people are looking for right now. Maybe I'll have more luck when I'm in my thirties," she sighed, flopping back against the bleachers. If the topic was uncomfortable to Anella, she was doing a great job of hiding it, though with as much as she was talking about it, it was fairly reasonable to assume that she was just one of those people who had little issue opening up to others.

Trevor shrugged "it can be the case sometimes, but other times not really" he told her thinking about it. He tilted his head to the side and lightly patted her forearm in a friendly gesture "don't worry Anella, i'm sure you will find someone before you are 30" he told her.
"I can agree with you there, i do want a serious relationship as well, but i also want them to have a interest in sports and active. The majority of my life right now is track & field and soccer and I do run out of school, though not many girls are into it. Mainly because they don't want to sweat" he told her.

Anella couldn't help but snort at his last comment; she was reassured by his belief that she would find someone, but when it came to working up a sweat? "You must not be looking in the right spot, Trev," she said, cracking a grin. "I know plenty of girls who love to work up a sweat. Back on my rugby team? It was all mud, sweat and blood." And copious amounts of bathing and perfume post game, but when the game was on? That sort of thing hardly mattered. "Athlete's are super attractive to most girls. As long as you're treating your lady right, at least. What girl doesn't like the excuse to watch a bunch of good looking guys running around?"
She let out a sort of dreamy sigh—and then remembered she had half a sandwich to finish off, and took another bite. Waving her hand nonchalantly, she laughed. "That's probably a weird thing to hear though. I'm sure you only play because you like the sport, right? Unless you're some sly dog?" she asked, winking for good measure.

Trevor shrugs "I guess not, but I suppose we'll see, I'm still young so I have lots of time. Its the matter of finding the right girl who can keep up with my active lifestyle" he told her before running his hands through his hair. "i'm actually really need to change out of these clothes..they are sticking to me" he said he fanned himself a bit from the heat. "yeah...I have yet to meet a girl who thinks that" he said thinking about it.
"that actually is sorta weird to hear, since i'm one of those guys" he said rubbing the back of his neck lightly. "heck no, I do it because I like it, not to get girls" he said with a light chuckle "although, having pretty girls watching us do run around is quite welcoming" he told her with a light smile.

Anella just smiled. "Well, I'm glad you're taking it well, you seem like a real sweetheart. But if you need to get out of those clothes, don't let me keep you! I'm going to have to head to class soon, so I won't be offended! I'm just glad to have had company during my lunch break! All my friends are in class right now. Plus, I suppose I love any excuse to chat up a cute guy," she said, unable to resist winking. She might have a fairly unimpressive track record with the boys, but that didn't mean she didn't enjoy interacting.
What was the worst thing that could happen, anyway?
…Right as she sank her teeth into the next bite of her sandwich, a glob of mayonnaise squirted out, and while it didn't land on either her or him, it wasn't a very impressive show, all the same. Awkwardly she laughed, reaching for a napkin to wipe up the mess.
She might learn to eat lunch by herself after this.

Trevor chuckles lightly as a blob of mayonnaise squirted out of her sandwich, it was both amused and serious but he didn't show he was that amused. "Its just that, sweaty clothes get sticky and they leave an odor of sweat behind and I would hate to go to class smelling bad" he said. If he did that everyone would completely avoid him, but then again he didn't have that many friends to begin with. He sighed exasperated, who would want to be friends with a guy who focuses on Academics and his love for sports.
He glanced over at Anella "I'll walk you back to the campus, then I'll go get cleaned up and go to my next class" he told her. It would be rude for him not to walk her back to the school building, he was not raised to be disrespectful.

The girl paused, smiled, and then nodded. She wrapped up the rest of her sandwich, figuring she would finish the rest of her mess making between her next class. "Well, that's awfully sweet of you! A real gentleman? I just can't resist." Tucking her sandwich away, she stood and brushed herself up, careful to get off every last crumb. "As long as it won't interfere with your schedule, that sounds good to me! And I wouldn't worry about any sort of smell. You smell fine!"
Or maybe she was just used to that sort of smell. Either way, she reached into her purse and pulled out a small perfume bottle. "Just in case, you want a spritz or something? Very fragrant, smells like cherries. At least until you get a shower, hmm? You want?" she asked, spraying herself to freshen up.
