This was the very reason why Kev was glad he came to this event. He was meeting other Azrein and perhaps he was earning a friend in this draft stallion. He hoped so. "I think that would be wonderful. Of course when your friend is finished with their...." It could be a tryst. Who wouldn't be trying to attract the opposite or same sex for a night of abandoned control of baser needs to celebrate something that was truly beautiful?

"With their time together." Kev said politely not wishing to say anything that would offend. "I would like to meet them. I have no need to seek our enemies. My life is to love and love freely where it will." Listening to the comment of meeting new azrein's....Kev had a hint of sadness in his eyes. "Sadly no. Just one but though it was fleeting. There is a hope that our paths would cross but I doubt it. You and the others here are the only ones I've come across recently." Grinning he shook his mane out and stomped a bit with his a tail flickering.

"Someday you should visit the gypsy troupe. You can travel safely with us or you seek me out to do so. It's much better to travel with a companion than alone. I promise with me it will always be fun." The stallion teased the draft playfully and maybe, a tiny bit of flirting. He was Kev....sensual and a flirt when he wanted no matter who it was.

Mei shuffled quietly holding a drink in hand. It looked like everyone was having fun. Her bonded Xela was currently just standing next to her pleading for her bonded to get out and play more. You know it’s no fun to just sit and stare, you’ll never meet anyone and have a good time that way. You really should head out there before I decide to nudge you out and perhaps into that lovely fountain~ Mei giggled knowing that her bonded was only joking, still to placate her Mei moved out looking for someone to talk to. Her blue gown was long and made her feel bit gangly, still Xela had said she looked good and that was all that Mei needed to hear to make her decision on what to wear tonight. She was looking forward to having a good night and with Xela at her side nothing could go wrong.

Reoakee sighed wishing she had stayed home with Alu-lote. Luin had insisted on coming to the event hoping to run into her ‘shadow of the stars’ so Reo had of course been dragged along not feeling quite right about her bonded just taking off to a social event without her. Perhaps it had to do with the fact Reo could just imagine Luin causing a scene getting everyone around her in trouble and then walking out smelling like a rose while everyone else suffered. The thought made Reo shudder. Unleashing Luin was like unleashing a storm that no one could prepare for. Worse it was on a romance holiday event, Reo hadn't even tried to dress up for it, even for appearances sake. Reo wasn’t fond of those since she had lose her beloved. He was all hat was on her mind tonight. She didn’t even notice a mare that had been standing next to her silently for quite some time now. Nor did she notice a few familiar faces in the crowd.

Nocturne stood by a human and wondered why she had been sent this far north. Me’urra had found a note about this event. Nocturne wasn’t sure who died for him to get it but he had none the less. Me’urra was curious about the event but things in the south kept him busy so he had sent her north. What he expected her to report back was a mystery to her. So for now she just stood and watched. Acting would give her away and that might not suit Me’urra’s needs.

Eri trotted up to Serenity and Dea’s group. He was running a bit late, but he had wanted to spend more time with Ni before he came. Dea wouldn’t be mad at him but he could feel her unease and that made him unhappy. Coming up behind Varetes he cleared his throat to announce his presence. “Bonded perhaps starting a dance or dragging all of us sorry sadsacks out into the crowd might force us to smile for a bit.” He gave her a clearly fake grin as a joke. His mirth traveled through their bond though so that she would know his suggestion was only a joke, well mostly. Getting everyone out and talking was key to making them forget their discomfort at the event. “Do you see anyone you know?”

Zephri: "Why thank you!" Zephri says to the Azrein handing out drinks, after taking the drink he wanted. "I've really wanted one of these for awhile so thank you for being so kind to bring drinks to people. Doesn't that make you feel bored though? Don't you want to party with the rest?"

Remembering the questions Kev had just asked he realized he should probably respond to that as well. "That would be exciting! Maybe I will travel with your troupe. Your very nice and would probably be very nice company, I would learn and see so much more. Plus I can see what a gypsy does and what you do in it!" He says blushing a little, there weren't a lot of people who visited the mountain and he felt maybe he was having to much fun and looked silly.

Paimon spotted a pretty autumn colored female, with leaves at her feet. He smiled deciding she may be a good one to go visit with as he trotted over to her. "Salutations." He said softly to the female, trying to get her attention without frightening her.

Alfred dipped his head. "You are very welcome, sir. I am glad to be of service." To the draft's question, he shook his head, meeting his gaze calmly. "No, I am not bored. I am not one for partying, so serving guests is quite satisfying to me." As well as being his job.

Ca Thu Thi heard someone coming, but didn't turn until addressed. She nodded her own greeting, hiding the little ball of nervousness growing in her chest. How was she going to communicate with this stallion? She had chosen a life of vocal silence and no one outside her family understood her attempts to communicate in other ways. But it was worth a try...

The golden stallion lowered into the gardens, tucking his wings tightly against his back as best as he could instantly. Although the gardens were spacious, Azante'zana was a rather large stallion himself, and the added span of his wings was most likely make it hard to navigate once he made it inside the hall, what with all the other azrein. His emerald eyes were large with wonder, having never seen such a large gathering of azrein before in his life. A bunch of couples had already gathered in a few nooks and crannies of the garden, so Aza rushed to leave the couples behind, feeling somewhat ashamed for peeking into their privacy.
In the courtyard, there were little clusters of azrein coming together and gingerly chatting, paris outright flirting and a few lonely others, like him. It was the small groups with humans that got his attention more than anythign else though. Maybe somewhere around here would be the girl he sought? This was a big event, so it was likely for many people to attend, right? Aza absent mindedly stopped nearby Mei and the long maned mare, eyes searching the gathering crowd.

Another stallion made his way through the crowd, sticking out like a sore thumb amidst the colorful mass. Minos had chosen to tone down his fierce form into one closer to normalcy for scounting sake, but the overall black pelt and the blue glowing markings still stuck out. Instead of the firey spine and the thick bladed tail stood a short mane and a thin, unicorn tail. The massive spiral horns had shrunk into small stubs. However, the two pairs of crimson eyes remained, surveying the population. Not as many mares as he'd have liked, and most of them seemed taken in one way or another. He headed over to the gardens, standing just before the stairway that gave way to the rose sprinkled greenery. Maybe someone of interest would appear. Someone lonely.

Ca Thu Thi shifted a little, unsure of how to respond. Then she got an idea. She moved so that she was standing next to him and slowly wrote her name out in the dirt. She didn't know where her father had learned to read and write, but he'd taught her--something she was very grateful for now. Then she stepped back so that Paimon could see what she'd written.

Yvar smiled slightly as he placed a hand on Eir's shoulder. He was wearing a pair of nice black pants and a crisp, white shirt with a green suit jacket over it. He wasn't usually one for parties, but he'd promised Eir that he'd be there when she needed him; tonight was no different. Well, maybe it was. But maybe it wouldn't be so bad... Especially with the surprise he had planned for later. "Waiting long?"
