Ahh yes, summer vacation the season where everyone of the city had time to enjoy leisure time with your friends and family. Also where you can relax and chill, perhaps get a a nice tan from being outside and going to the beach and a time of year where students could slack off and enjoy their life and stress-free lifestyle.
Aside from finishing their summer homework earlier then they had expected, the last day of summer vacation had arrived and parents were getting ready to send their children back to school.
They were at the store with their mother, while their mother helped them shop for school supplies. They had their backpacks ready to go and their school uniform all cleaned and ironed out. Kallista looked at her older brother “I don’t know if I should be excited to go back to school or not” she answered. Her brother responded by looking at her “Oh relax, Kalli we are going to the same school anyway except different uniforms” he informed his sister. He had spent most of his time with his friends at the same time throwing in some time to spend with his little sister, they were close. They paused as they were walking through the aisles before it hit them. School for them was starting to tomorrow, they frowned at each other before Trevor spoke up “oh, wow...time flies by in summer” he said thinking about it.
They hurried home with their mother to pack up their last remaining things. It seemed like they were being shipped off to the best school in Destiny city. Their parents had the funds to support them both so they could continue their education. Their mother looked at her watch and ushered the two quickly “come on, you two don’t want to be late, so you guys can get settled into your rooms” she told them as she helped them quickly pack their last remaining belongings. Their dad came into their room and sighed a bit “let’s go, let’s go” he said trying usher all three of them out of the house. And picked up their luggage and took them out to the car, he put them in the trunk and hopped into the driver’s seat starting the engine up. He buckled his seatbelt and waited for them to get in. Their mother had hopped into the passenger seat and closed the door buckling her down as well.
Trevor and Kallista had followed suit and had gotten into the back seat, they buckled themselves up and looked at each other and nodded before looking at their Parents. Trevor spoke up “we are good to go” he said speaking for both him and Kallista. After driving for a couple of hours or so their car pulled into the Meadowview student drop off area. Their dad unbuckled himself and shut the engine off making his way to the Trunk before speaking up.
“Trevor can you give me a hand?” he asked. Trevor got out of the car and helped his dad unpack their bags. Kallista and Elaine followed suit and had time to give each other good bye hugs. Kallista looked at her mother “Well, we’re here” she said. Elaine nodded her head before giving her daughter a hug and handing her a cell phone. “This is a gift from me and your father” Elaine answered handing it to her. Kallista smiled tears starting to show “thank you mom” she said before walking to the back of the car where her brother was talking to their dad. Kallista saw Trevor nod his head. Kallista picked up her bags and looked at her brother “ready?” she asked. Trevor nodded his head and put the cell phone he got from his father in his pocket and picked up his bags. Trevor and Kallista gave their parents a final good bye and turned heading up the Meadowview path.
