There was some movement and she looked around the room more steadily now. It indeed seemed that someone had had a panic attack, he was still slightly shaken and Clara noticed that there seemed to be a grenade shell of some sort floating around. She did not give this much thought as a spark caught her attention. It was the flash of a lighter and the owner of such really seemed intriguing now. He hid his face and had tanks attached to his person. She guessed that these were not drinking water. There was time yet to get to know everyone. Clara wondered if she should make conversation. Perhaps not just yet...

Henry had been working odd jobs through out the city when he had found the flyer. He rough working hands reached out and took one of the tabs at the bottom. For him this would be a big break to help his struggling family, and to feed his little sisters. He sent most if not all of the money he made back home to his mother in the Tundra. He didn't look like much, just some farmer from the Tundra, a resilient and tough man who would do anything morally good to make sure that his family was fed and taken care of so that they could live a better life then what he did as a kid.
Henry walked up and got in line, quietly making sure that he was unnoticed. He would easily be laughed at because he did not fit the image of the type of person who would take a job like this. He was wearing a uniform from another job, and no weapons except for his knife, tucked away in his pocket.

hearing the shift of a rather large man outside erebus opens the door to a man in an odd uniform "are you here for the job? you dont seem to have any weapons or tools... are you one of my brothers delivery cooks or are you actually here for the job? you will be in probable life threatening danger if you say yes, its not a high dollar job for no reason" feeling a little insecure at the idea of someone coming to a life and death type job with apsolutely nothing to show as if to kill the tendants erebus sits there debating whether or not to shut the door that it might be a spy from the mafia

Henry spoke up in a soft voice, he made him self look nervous and weak.
"Yes."
He paused for a second and spoke again.
"I mean no..."
He said again walking away. He though to himself, how could he just let this chance go by, the pay was to good to pass up. He turned back around and faced the man.
"No, I mean Yes. I am here for the job."
Henry said to the man in soft calm voice, with that touch of nervousness. He was good at getting in under the radar, yes he worked the small jobs almost any job even the really bad jobs no one would take. As long as he was able to feed his sister's he would do it. It could be said that he was the luckiest man alive, but that is because he only made it look that way. Henry was highly skilled, it was just easier for him not to show it.

"well... ok then... one moment for me to open the door" putting on his goggles and turning on the light prior to opening the door sliding the knife into a hidden pose behind his shield and guiding him to the center of the room as he shut the door then guiding him into the next room and cutting the hall lights off from the inside of the corador "alright if you would mengle with the others while me and our tactition prepair to explain the job i will be with you in a bit, and note the food is free, my brother has supplied a 2 cource meal for what should be up to 10... but it looks as though it wont make it past 8 people" taking a few backsteps then turning and walking up to the platform to the old man who had been sitting alone with just a plate of hors doevres to declare they were ready to begin as soon as both parties were

"Tom"
Tom looked over to the new guy, he sized him up then went back to his drink. the man across from him had left the table and returned back with a sandwich. the man realized he forgot to grab something and went back for whatever it is he left. when he returned he added it to the sandwich. just as he closed the two slices of bread together Tom leaned back in his chair with his feet on the table...right on the man's sandwich. there was a pause before the man left the table never to come back. Tom then stared at their host and the old cat sitting next to him

There were not many tables but Clara finally moved to sit at one. One away from the masked man who had just squished someone's sandwich with his feet. As she did so, another man joined the group. He appeared odd or at least different from everyone else in the room. Why did he not at least have a bag? He seemed unprepared. Clara shook it off as a rooky mistake. She should be trying to enjoy a bite of free food but she was much more interested in Erebus' movements as he went to a table where there was an older man.

The young farmer kept to himself staying away from everyone else. He didn't want to be made a spectacle of everyone. He kept eyes on everyone, watching them from where we was. Henry didn't take any of the food, he had already had eaten his small meal, and he was able to get by on just that.
Henry's eyes drifted the room and spotted a larger man, wearing even bulkier armor, who had been checking him out to size him up. He didn't care really, people could judge all they wanted. He could be the Tundra guy from the farm, it didn't bother him at all to be the underdog.
He moved his view once again and spotted a girl about his age, he could have been a few years older. She was attractive, and there was just something about her that made her stand out amongst the crowd. When she turned to see him, he just smiled, with dimples, at her as his face blushed a bright red knowing that she was looking at him. Then againt he was that way with any girl, he had always been to busy taking care of his family to look at girls in that manner. Even though he knew how to treat them right, he had never even kissed a girl.

stepping up to the podium and releasing a large booming greeting that echoed in the fairly small room "welcome everyone and thank you for coming for the task of this dangerous mission, as you all may know due to the failure of the control tower the mining opperation has failed and we are no longer getting supplies from the surface and even worse the power has been cut from the main reactor and life has turned into a living hell, well we have gathered you all here to correct this catastorpy and restore prosparity to not only you all but everyone!, and now without futher delay i present the man with the plan to correct this wrong, Doctor Alex if you please Alex: "*cough* thank you all for--" "a little louder please" Alex: "sorry, thank you all for coming, as some may know the control tower was directly linked to the computer systems of the A.S. and as the system recorded abnormal DNA like our dear friend Erebus here it blocked out the system in a crash fassion trying to deal with it as if it was a toxin seeping through the drilling rig, well in order to open the control tower again we must reset the basic sensory pannels of the A.S. systems so that they no longer read DNA codes with the chemicals in the air and restart the drilling and motion sequince so we can reroute power back to the people, any questions at this time?"

"Tom"
Tom raised his hand and didn't bother waiting to be called on. he was never a man for patience and his bosses usually just got to the point.
"When do i get to burn stuff?"
he didn't want to have to waste time sitting around with other people when he could be out doing what he does best: property damage.
as he was sitting he took out a multitool and began fiddling with the braces on his legs. they were heavy and slightly uncomfortable. but necessary to be able to walk around in as his suit was mostly very heavy kevlar, ceramics, and bits of metal. as well as flame-retardent fabrics that kept him comfortable of tempertures up to 2000 degrees. and a cold water cooling system that ran under the suit

Alex: "there is probably alot of fighting to come, everywhere from the mafia to animals, basicly anyone who is starving to death or making a fortune off of those starving to death some out of desperation, others out of greed" alex says with a passive sigh worried about the amount of attention this band of fighters and technitions will bring

She blinked and then blinked again. Erebus had introduced Dr. Alex and now the doctor was expanding on the trouble with the control tower. Sadly, none of this sounded completely knew or unreasonable. So far, Clara was not understanding why they needed such a large group of people to carry this out if it was as simple as resetting some sensory panels.
Her hands quickly clapped over her mouth to stifle a giggle when the masked man asked when he got to burn things. Now that she looked at him, Clara realized that this would probably be at least a three man mission. The technician that would be resetting the panels would need a body guard. The masked man looked like the perfect type for that.
As Alex explained, it made more sense now. There were probably a large range of people that were making profit off this disaster. Including the people in this room who were here to get paid, not out of the goodness of their hearts.
Now it was her turn to ask, with a raised hand. "Oh! When do we head out and is everyone here definitely in the party?" Clara gave a girlish grin.

Alex: "that depends on which you lot would prefer, the AS night cycle is soon to set and it would be easier to get to it in the dark, but for some if things go wrong it may be easier to fight during the day cycle so it is up to group majority vote--" " aside from the cooks, electrition, and dear old Alex here i would hope so, trying to work with something like a clock while under attack is not easy... whats everyone stairing at?" butting in about a prior job that ended up in the middle of a raid erebus didnt really think much about alex talking

The farmer stayed quite from where he was standing. He had no questions about the mission, he would do what he was hired to do. Henry's mind drifted to his two younger sisters and his mother, this job would help them for a good long while. He cleared his mind and began to focus.

looking around erebus decides to continue the meeting "alright since there are no futher questions its up to deciding how we want to aproach the A.S. and how we plan to get out, me personally id prefer to walk in casually and avoid the mafia as much as possible but still there is more than me so it is up to the majority vote" leaving the floor open for debating the attack stratagy he step down and pulls up a chair to an open table that already had 3 other chairs around it and rolls out a map
