History
She and her immediate family live in London, England. Her father's side have been mixed blood for quite some time, often choosing muggles as their spouses, believing that one of the best ways to have muggles and magic folk get along is through intimate relationships. So when Emez was on the job, gathering information for an article of his about muggle medicine, falling for Miriam was almost inevitable. However it wasn't until after their first child was born did she learn about her husband's heritage. It was a rocky relationship at first because of it, but eventually once she started to learn more about the magical world she finally forgave Emez and they have been happy ever since.

Emez was sorted into Gryffindor while both of his siblings were put into Ravenclaw. Past magical relatives on her father's side have been in all houses, none more popular than any other, so no matter what house one is sorted in, it's usually encouraged within the family, even Slytherin.

Lisirra grew up learning about both the magical and muggle worlds and had her interests encouraged by her parents. Her father, when allowed, would often take her with him while he was investigating. Even though he never really left Eastern Europe, Lisirra got to travel quite a bit with him, her sister coming along if she so wanted. However once she was invited to Hogwarts, Lisirra started to become more interested in magical history and while no one else in her immediate family, besides her father, is magical she still has a positive relationship with them, usually telling them about what she has learned at Hogwarts ((assuming that muggles in families are allowed to learn about wizarding stuff, I would assume at least)).

Relationship with Family
Lisirra gets along well with her family, though she tends to have the usual squabbles with her siblings. Her father helped her to get into history with his job as a journalist. When she could, she would follow him on jobs. She gets along well with her mother too who is a pediatrician. Of her two parents, her father is the magical one being a wizard, and although that caused some fighting between them when her mother first found out, Miriam eventually learned to accept it and allowed her children to be accepted to Hogwarts, should they be invited. However, Lisirra is the only one to have gotten an invitation so far, however because of their good relationships with their parents, she and her sister, who is non-magical still get along well.

During the holidays, she and the rest of her family tend to celebrate together since they all live in England. Her aunt and uncle on her father's side are twins and both magizoologist and although they are quite busy, at least one of them tends to make it to any family celebrations.
