 Seeing the strange man cuddle up against an intimidating man, Luthe shakily got to his feet and studied them a bit further. They looked very familiar now that he... Wait, what was the crazy one's name? " Ruh-Resin?" the neko gasped, his ears shooting up as well as his tail. " Th-The Psychotic Scarecrow?! Wuh-What are you doing here? Th-There's no field around!" He looked back at Dorothy with wide, fretful eyes. " H-He's not harmless! He's a brutal killer! All of Oz knows about what he's done in the fields!"

 "And now, he's our pet." Deidre held up the leash, smirking. "Don't worry, kitten. We've got him under control. The only person you have to worry about is Trenton, and that's because you stole his girl.""Oh? Who's his girl?" asked the teen, causing Deidre to facepalm.

Luthe cautiously stuck close to Dorothy while watching Resin carefully. He was a bit doubtful that they could tame the infamous lunatic, but the silver-haired guy looked strong and mean enough to do the job. That, and the inu. " Trenton..." he muttered the name, the taste of it familiar. " Huh.... I wonder..." Looking up, he noticed that the inu was gone, taken by the fog of the forest. " Huh? Oh! Wh-Where did T-Trenton go?" Luthe asked while looking around wildly for the inu. He looked harsh and mean, yeah, but he wanted that guy on his side if the beast of the forest came out!

Luthe hurried around for a while to find where the inu was, trying to track his scent while also staying as close to the group - and not Resin - as possible. After a good few paces, Luthe, who had his head tilted and lowered down to get a better read on Trenton's scent, he ran face first into something sticky. Yelping, the neko tried to stagger backwards, but he found himself stuck to the substance he ran into. Unable to lift his head and see what it was he hit, he began flailing about and whining. "Quit struggling, you'll only get more stuck." His ears twitching at the familiar voice, Luthe lifted part of his gaze and gasped when he saw Trenton. " I-It's you!" he gasped. "Yup." the inu muttered, his arms crossed and his ears flat against his head in humiliation. "You found me, and now we're both stuck." He would have flickered his tail, but, like his body and Luthe's face, it was stuck to an enormous spiderweb.

With a sigh, Deidre lifted Resin and threw him over his shoulder. "Come on, let's go find your friends."Dorothy, meanwhile, had wandered off, calling out Trenton's name every now and then. "Trenton? This isn't funny!"

Mayah Playah I figure both of us could play the spider. You wanna start it off or me? After a few more minutes of struggling, Luthe lost all energy and collapsed into the sticky net he fell in. " Ugh..." he groaned while grimacing at the touch. " What is this stuff...?" "Spider web." Trenton mumbled. He only looked as confident as he sounded to look impressive to the crybaby of a neko. Truth be told, he would be quivering in his spot had it not been for the web holding him in place. "Do you, uh.... remember the story about the forest?" " Y-Yeah..." Luthe murmured, trying to get over his disgust of the web he was stuck to. " According to the rumors, there's a... giant..... spider........" he went silent and paled up as he realized where this web came from.

Awesome nerd You do it. I hate spiders, and everything about them. Deidre walked close behind Dorothy, his eyes staring all around. There had to be some clue as to where they were. Taking a deep breath, he grabbed the girl and shoved her behind him, walking in front. Resin walked closely beside Dorothy, sighing. "Resin doesn't like this..."

Just as Luthe stopped speaking, a loud thud shook their web. Both prisoners froze in place - Well they were already due to the web - and their eyes shot to where the thud came from. It was there that they saw a tree just falling down, which must've been the cause of the thud, and more trees shaking as something made its way... towards them. "Oh-" " -no." Hissing viciously with eight red eyes glowing in the dark, the legendary beast of the forest scrambled through two trees and gazed at its web. It was a gigantic spider, its fangs reared at the sight of prey. It was about eight feet tall, already taller than the trapped Trenton, and twelve feet long (not including the enormous legs stretched out) Venom dripped from its fangs as it slowly got closer to the frightened neko and the pale inu.

Deidre suddenly stopped the two, freezing in place. "Sh*t," he mumbled as he recognized that stench in the air. He pushed them against a tree. "Don't move." Moving away, Deidre approached the web, narrowing his eyes at the spider. Taking a deep breath, Deidre let his hand shift gears into a hand of sharp daggers crafted specially by his witch's magic, then sliced at the web. "Hey! Eight eyes! Come gnaw on a real bone!"As the spider turned its attention to the cyborg, one finger snapped off of his hand and started to cut the two loose.

While Luthe flailed and struggled to break free, Trenton felt his ears lower as the venomous fangs got closer and closer to his face. He could practically feel the spider's hot breath when, all of a sudden, Deidre's voice made him, Luthe, and the spider freeze. "What are you doing?" Trenton hissed to the cyborg. "Are you trying to get yourself killed?" Well, better him than me, he thought as the gargantuan spider turned its attention towards Deidre and hissed at him.

"Shut up and go protect Dorothy and Resin," growled the Tin Man as he sliced at the spider's leg. As the blade grew, Deidre's aim got better, and eventually sliced off one of the legs. The creature growled and lunged at him, but the cyborg danced out of reach. "No questions, just go!"

Stumbling once he was freed, Trenton watched the spider chase after Deidre then looked to Luthe, who was barely getting freed. He gripped the neko's shoulders and yanked him free before turning and listening carefully. "You hear Dorothy?" he asked. Just finishing wiping off stray web, Luthe looked up at Trenton then to the dark forest. He took a shuddering breath and closed his eyes, paying close attention to all the sounds of the forests. He could hear the hisses of the spider and the grunts from the Deidre.. and finally. " There!" he gasped and pointed to the north. A squeak escaped him just as soon as Trenton picked him up and started running in that direction.

But when they got there, Dorothy was nowhere to be found. All that was there was a whimpering Resin, who had been tied to the tree by a ripped stocking. Dorothy ran through the forest, finally reaching Deidre. Spying the spider, she backed into a tree, her eyes wide. The cyborg grunted once more as the spider attempted to attack him, then finally let out a scream of unbearable pain when the monster clamped it's jaws on his arm. Gritting her teeth, Dorothy looked around for a weapon, finally seeing one in Deidre's detached finger. After the blade grew a bit, she crept up behind the distracted monster, then jumped onto it's head. "LET. HIM. GO!" she yelled, plunging the knife deep into the thorax and twisting the heart. The monster, stunned by the likely fatal attack, released Deidre, who fell to the ground in pain. Laying on his back, he winced as Dorothy rushed to him, trying to help him up. "Damn...why can't you listen?""Because you'll get killed if I do," she replied, starting to help him to Trenton, Luthe, and Resin.

"Dammit, Dorothy!" Trenton yelled almost frantically. "You could've gotten killed! And don't act like a damn hero because it didn't see you!" Meanwhile, as the inu yelled his head off at Dorothy, Luthe wandered towards Deidre and winced at the sight of his wounds. " D... Do we have to find you a mechanic?" he asked.
