Her whole body seemed to sag as Phenyo was reminded that time was of the essence, and she nodded her head solemnly, nearly bowing herself to the ground. "Of course," she said, not even going to disgrace herself with apologizing again; while her words wouldn't be empty, it was just shameful to keep making excuses for herself.
Rising off the ground, she took just the quickest moment to get her bearings straight. Dream or not, she wouldn't let something suffer when she believed she had the power to save a life. The west coast is where Eshe had directed her, so to the west she would go.
"Three spiked leaves from pale blue plants on the cliffs," Phen repeated out loud, giving a sure nod of her head. "I'll return before midday." With that, there was no more Phenyo. She took off at her fastest run, trying to clear the doubt in her head that this was a much more dangerous task than she assumed.

Eshe watched as Phenyo disappeared back into the brush she had come from. Time was running short and Phenyo had made her decision. This animal's fate was in her hands now and her responsibility.
The ground under Phenyo's feet seemed to comply, boosting her speed through the dense forest. The forest on Chibale, while it didn't occupy much space, was much more populated with giant trees than Jauhar. The close proximity of the Mother Tree made sure of that. Cutting through the forest would require maneuvering and skill; those without it are sure to be greeted with pockets so thick and dense with plant life it would be near impossible to travel through.
As Phenyo continued to travel, eventually the trees started to let up and she could hear the sounds of the coast approaching. These weren't the same sounds of the gentle swelling of the east coast where the two lands shelter the water from disturbance; this was the sound of aggressive crashing into cliff face and the dissonant sounds of rupturing waves.

Phen met the challenge of the overgrown brush methodically - if she was low to the ground, she would climb higher to find a way over it. The reverse could be said of branches and vines that blocked a canopy route: climb low, and look at it from a different angle. It reminded her of untying bow strings, following the path of the thread, taking care to un-loop it mentally before pushing forward with a physical attempt. Find the path of least resistance - she was diligent in not attempting to hack and slash her way through, knowing that could do much more than impede her progress. Cut the wrong vine, and it was a long way down to the ground.
Phenyo only worried how much time it took her, and would keep half of her eye close to the sky.
It was during one pause in the upper branches that the first sounds of the sea echoed to her from the rocky cliffs, and her heart leap outwards, nearly pulling her from her perch. Steadying herself, Phenyo leaned outwards and listened...taking in a deep breath before climbing down and continuing her final push to the coast.
With wind whipping about her bare shoulders, Phen almost wished she'd brought her clothes from her time in the cold north; the hood would have been nice to at least keep her dreads from beating her in the face. Grasping a tree branch, she'd carefully lean out as far as she dared - stretching herself just beyond what would have been deemed "safe". Her eyes scoured the cliff face for the plants that she required to save the mystic white creature's life.

Phenyo had finally reached the coast, and the view held exactly what she needed.
The cliffs just looked unstable, and with each wave cresting against its face more rocks tumbled into the water below. It was a miracle that the whole thing wasn't in the water by now. The edge of the land reached out and created a crescent-shaped sliver of land around a pocket of aggressive water. The land was eating a hole through itself.
And on the opposite edge of that sliver there they were. The plants that Phenyo needed. The leaves were thick and and sturdy looking, and the system of roots holding the plant to the cliff-face could be seen embedding itself into the rock. The crescent Phenyo looked at was a mass of thick roots and loosened rock and Phenyo would need to climb across the crescent-shaped mass in order to pick the leaves Eshe required of her.
