C'rci of Blue Bolth -Burn post
Mine. His says jealousy doesn't become you. However Calanoth says thank you. Rumbled pleasantly to his rider only to suddenly backwing letting out a startled bugle as a clump of thread nearly clipped them.
Flame it. C'rci ordered her nerves like steel even as her dragon panicked trying to force her will against his and ease his fear as the blue followed her orders engulfing the clump in fire. After a few moments Bolth calmed circling back to position as C'rci shook her head.
Jealousy? The man must be delusional as well as distracted. She thought with amusement as she watched bronze and rider flame another gout of thread. This time without injury.

Dizzian and Courath // Burn Post
About the same time S'kiro noticed Dizzian, she spotted him. She lifted her arm in a wave, smiling even if he couldn't see her face. Courath bumped them up in the air as Devith swept below them, catching the remains of thread that had slipped past.
~ Be careful how you fly brothermine!~ She warned with care. She didn't remember the incident so long ago but Dizzian did and worried. ~ I'm unharmed. ~ Courath sent a feeling of warmth and thanks to the silver. They didn't have time for conversation though if they were to do their duty as trained. Courath used her position to arch up at an approaching clump.

Dizzian and Courath // Damage Post
Her flame caught more of it than her previous attempt, but she still caught half of it across her shoulder, twisting quickly to avoid it hitting Dizzian. The strands dragged across her back behind the rider. Instinct and training served the green well as she blinked between without a sound, returning with yellow grey eyes that hardened back into the orange of battle as she attempted to master her pain
Dizzian was gasping in shock. She had felt Courath's pain before, the pain of strains, of scrapes, and the shared pain of their injuries from so long ago. The pain of Thread could not be compared. Both sharp and dull at the same time it made stars dance in her mind. ~ Be alert mine! It is small and I am fine. ~ She let Devith hear her words as well, knowing he'd probably ask anyways.

Hekate of Silver Devith -Burn post
When am I ever not cautious sister dearest? Devith crooned his eyes whirling with concern as he spotted her flickering between. However her return reassured him as well as her words.
His sisters move though had given him an idea as the silver cast his gaze around from more thread finally spotting an unusually large clump not far above him. A clump even a bronze would have a bit of trouble charring. Mine~ Came Devith's unspoken request as Hekate fed him a large chunk of firestone both dragon and rider itching to test out their firepower to it's full capacity.
Three swift powerful strokes sent the silver aloft his jaws spread for the biggest burst yet as searing hot flames erupted from his jaws charring the massive clump to bits. Bugling out at his success he circled to regroup with the tight formation pride swelling in his chest. It had been a good burst. One that had left both rider and dragon thrilling with power.

Hekate of Silver Devith -injury post
The triumph of their victory however was short lived. In Devith's moment of pride the pair had over looked a smaller clump of thread. Hekate only managing to catch it at the last minute. "Devith~!" She screamed out pointing up and before the silver had chance to flame it the writhing thread was upon them giving Devith only enough time to roll taking the brunt of it on his side and chest rather then allowing it to score his rider.
Pain, pain of a million burning needles seemed to erupt in dragon and rider's minds as their shock was swallowed up in the cold of between. Leaving only a gasp to rip from Hekate's throat as the emerged. Shaken. . .but undeterred.
Are you unhurt Mine? Devith asked his eyes whirling gray with pain and yellow with worry as Hekate patted herself down.
It bit into the riding gear a bit, but we went between before it ate through. I'm alright Devith and you? She asked her heart in her throat with concern.
I will require some numbweed, but will feel much better once I've charred a few more of these despicable clumps into nothing, but ash. Devith rumbled to his rider. Nothing quite made the silver feel better then revenge. Specially if it was revenge at the cost of his non-sentient mindless age old enemy.

S’kor/Bronze Scarath – Gale Stalkers Wingsecond HP: 62 Agility: -4
It was routine now to check the large bronze had enough firestone before they left. Sacks across his withers were full and ready for this fall. Order the wing up and give the coordinates. S’kor settled into the familiar neck and raised his arm. Dropping it and a mental order to Scarath he sent them on their way.
Scarath gave a brassy call to the dragons. Dragons in formation, here are you coordinates. Make sure Yours has good visuals. He rumbled approvingly to the wing as he took them between. Far below water turned into land. Wings beat strongly as Scarath glanced over his shoulder to be sure the wing was in good formation. He met the foe with a mighty flame.

Scarath Watch Out! He barely had time to get his warning out as wind gusted up some Thread from behind.
The bronze bellowed as strands wrapped around his right back leg. He skipped to the blessed cold. When they returned he could feel His leaning over his side to try to get a look. It does not interfere with flying Mine, but landing might be hard.

Optheli/Green Dynith – Gale Stalkers Wingrider HP: 35 Agility: +2
It seemed too soon to be doing this again. ‘Theli tightened her riding harness firmly. Is all well Dynith? She cooed to the green and laid her firestone sacks in their place.
Yes Mine. The green hummed, reassured by her rider. Scarath calls Mine. We have coordinates. Dynith relayed the image to Hers.
The girl scrambled into her place and strapped down. Closing her wherhide jacket as the green proceeded with a gentle take off. Thank you my love. A rumble in the green neck and the Thread falling before them shriveled to ash.

Wykla/Blue Kameth – Storm Riders Wingrider HP: 45 Agility: +1
Her eyes glittered coldly. Are we ready Kameth? Wykla glanced at the others in the wing. How she wished Ralae could be flying with them. It couldn’t be helped. Her friend wasn’t yet ready for this. She tightened the straps securely.
Aye Mine. Calanoth gives good coordinates. The blue gave a bugle as he spread his wings.
The girl on his back gave a nod. Waiting for the signal to go she urged Kameth into the bright blue skies. The arrived in good order and Wykla scanned the area around them. Thread! She felt the blue surge under her as he headed for the silvery strands.

C'rci of Blue Bolth -Burn Post
Other then Z'fer it seemed their wing was fairing all right. At least the bronzerider hadn't seemed to have noticed his favorite silver and his rider betweening after taking a nasty bit of thread score. Of course he could just be ignoring it though she doubted it.
The little blessings she supposed were the best and the other rider seemed to come out unharmed her and her dragon reappearing moments later. C'rci and Bolth of course had their own hands full as the blue dipped charring another small clump of thread as he clung tight to the formation of his fellows far too wary to stray even the smallest distance for a clump if he didn't have to or unless C'rci asked it of him.

F’law/Blue Zurith – Dawn Fliers Wingrider HP: 45 Agility: +1
Never did it seem to get easier. F’law swallowed hard and kept his eyes firmly down as he feed the stone to his blue. They were as ready as they were going to get. He mounted and urged his blue to join the others of their wing.
Zurith held back the gasses that wanted to be released in his second stomach. They appeared over the coast and he searched for the Thread he knew would be there. Be ready Mine. It comes. The blue rose up to meet the falling nemesis with the other dragons.

He wasn't watching and he should have been. Perhaps Zurith was blessed with a short memory but he wasn't. He knew he had to stare into the sky and watch for thread. It took a squeal from the blue to bring him out.
A squeal of pain escaped the blue before he escaped between. A bit Thread had wrapped around the leading edge of a wing. It is minor Mine. Zurith reassured his rider, and kept flying.

Hekate of Silver Devith - Burn post
True to his word Devith did in fact feel better as the pair of them made up for their less then elegant threading by swooping down like a bird of prey for the next clump. Enveloping the thread in a burst of flame the silver couldn't help, but feel satisfied with it's sizzle and pop as the mindless enemy burned to nothingness.
With a flick of his tail a if shooing the now ash away and a flick of his wings the silver turned in search of more thread to burn. Hekate quite frankly was just glad he seemed to be feeling better and doubly grateful Z'fer seemed to have not spotted their close call. Though she had no doubt she'd be fussed at when she got back on the ground. The fact she'd not joined his wing was still a sore subject for the two even if Hekate's reasons were sounds.

Calanoth was aware when Devith betweened. For the sake of his Rider and his Wing at the very moment the dragon dove hard and fast for a clump that was just out of his reach, belching flame and smoke into the air in front of him.

Z'fer and Calanoth // Damage Post
Calanoth swooped back into place, tilting his head back as Z'fer coughed violently on his back. ~ Little warning please. ~ The bronzerider begged. ~ I inhaled smoke.~
~ Sorry. ~ He hadn't meant to hurt His, but his distraction had worked. Z'fer hadn't noticed that Devith had been scored in the other wing.
