Kami thought she heard a song that was whispered on the wind and threw the trees, truely this was a magical place and she wanted to tell her mother about it when she got back, magic did exsist. No one would miss her anyways, surely not anyone except maybe Pata. She would come looking for her. This was the only place where she felt accepted and not judged for her looks or even personality..
The Simu sighed again and reached down into the water again to try and wash the mud from her poor dress. She really didn't do too badly, there was barely any mud on it, more on her shoes than anything but she didn't mind that. Her face burned.

"Yes, that it is." She agreed. The Simu was shaking her head at Ray when he washed the mud from himself. There could have been something lurking in the water that could have attacked him! She tossed those thoughts aside and headed over to where Aurora had gone to sit, deciding to find herself a nice rock to sit on as well.
That's when she too noticed Kami was missing from the group now. She looked around the general area to see if she could spot the pink-haired girl. When she didn't she frowned, "I'll go see if I can find Kami and bring her back to the rest of us." She offered.

Ray watched as Aurora approached the rocks, shaking his head and spraying droplets of water across the rock he was perched on. "I didn't mind..." Ray replied politely to Aurora, and jumped down from the rock, leaving his boots behind. He knelt and picked a couple of wild flowers, one gold, one pale blue and one red.... He handed the gold one to Aurora, wordlessly before walking over to where Sarria had entered the glade. He watched for Kami, worrying a bit at the fact that she still hadn't arrived.
"I'll go see if I can find Kami and bring her back to the rest of us." Sarria offered as he approached.
"I can go..." Ray said, handing Sarria the red flower. It was his fault, after all... he'd practically pushed the pink haired girl through the tunnel... when he probably shouldn't have continued. It was one thing to get into trouble himself, but he had brought others along. He should have waited...
But hadn't Kami seen the the forest? Hadn't she felt the draw of the trees? Hadn't she the desire to see what lead down that nearly grown over path? Surely she was just behind them...

Aurora was pretty slow about no Kami... not that that was surprising or anything, really. She peered around, hadn't she followed? Aurora was sure she had, because... because it'd be bad if she didn't!
"She'd not be far, right? This place is kinda... I mean, you seem to want to come here, so she has to be here."

Finally getting all the spots on her dress clean, she looked up to see if she could see that pretty angel statue that was ontop of some rocks and even though she squinted she couldn't find it. Where'd it go? Perhaps it was just out of her sight but that didn't cross her mind atm, more like her safety, but this glade looked like a holy place with all the different rocks so she mused that it would be safe..Ray wouldn't lead them to anywhere unsafe. She trusted him, had trusted him since they were little. At least she had that memory to go on when she got down, the simu teen with fairy wings was a little bit more sensative than the others.
More than ever, she wished that a prince on a white horse would find her and rescue her, take her to his castle in the clouds. ..'
Yea right, keep dreaming, Kami..'

Why anyone would simply wander off in an area unfamiliar to them was beyond Sarria. Though she was probably likely to do that too at times, but she didn't want to think about that. "Oh, okay. If you want to." Sarria told Ray, "I'll stay here with you then." She grinned at Aurora and then smiled at Ray upon recieving the flower. "Why thank you!" She thanked him and patted the petals with one of her fingers from her free hand, "It's beautiful."
She gave the flower a sniff and then smiled at its beautiful shade of red, "And thanks for finding this place. It's absolutely beautiful! Everything about it is good." She told him as she started heading toward Aurora, going on about how peaceful it seemed. When she finally reached a rock near Aurora she went to take a seat, sitting 'indian style' on it. "Let's hope she's not far. Who knows what else is out here besides us." She said to Aurora, looking around the glade again to see if Kami had shown up while she had been getting comfortable on her rock.

Ray grinned wide at Sarria's thank you. "I'm glad you like it, and this place..." He looked around. "I think it's special... for all of us." He put his finger to his lips. "I think we should keep it secret."
He then turned for the path, trecking uphill a bit as he examined the ground, remembering the scouting tricks Torrin had taught him. After jsut a short walk, he found the spot where Kami's heeled, pointy toed foot prints lead off the path, towards the creek. She wasn't very far at all, from the glade or the path. Ray sighed with relief as he caught a hint of pale blue and pink among the leaves.
"Kami!" He said, approaching where she sat, whiping the last bits of mud from her dress hem. He smiled and held out the pale blue flower he'd picked for her. "We thought we'd lost you. Come look at the angel glade with us."
He held out his arm politely to escort her back to where Aurora and Sarria waited.

NEW RP, continued from the main thread. http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3779008&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=7590http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3779008&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=7650Ray pulled of his sweater, revealing his favorite green sleeveless shirt beneith. Unconcerned with the cold or wind, and draped it over teh girl's shoulders. The Glade was as he'd remembered, the statue of the angel at the far end still watching over the stone carvings arranged through out. He walked out to the center as he'd done the first time, looking around at the stones. He still had the lingering feeling of something or someone watching them.
There was a flicker of movement by the statue, and a feeling of familiarity over came him. The Ghost... he thought, mesmerized, and walked to the south end of the glade, where the angel looked over them. A shape materialized. Drawn, he reached towards it. He felt a warmth in his hands, then... suddenly, it was gone. He blinked up at the stone statue, the sun setting behind it's form. The Glade seemed to grow darker. He looked at his hands. They were some how darker, with tendrils of green weaving towards his fore arms. He spun around, looking for Kerryn, wondering what she'd seen, what she'd thought...
He found her quickly enough, her yellow dress standing out in the ocean of green. "We should get back..." He told her, unsure of what had happened, or why...

Kerryn looked up at him when he deposited the green sweater over her shoulders and walked to the middle of the glade. Taking a moment she slid it from her shoulders and pulled it on, she wasn't going to be stubborn about it, not when she was cold and he had already offered it once.
Drowning in the clothing ment for Ray, she giggled at herself - only able to imagine how it looked, the sleeves were much too long, and despite the length the skirt of her yellow dress was visable under the hem of the shirt. She followed him for a ways as he approached near the statue, stopped though by something of interest among a small patch of plants. The sudden darkening of the glade caught her attention, "Ray..?" She called quietly, looking around at the area of the grassy glade. As he turned and moved over to her, she nodded at his words.
"What happened?"
Unease made her draw her right hand from the sleeve of his warm sweater and seek one of his with it. Trying to draw some comfort from familiar physical contact since Bri always seemed to be holding her hand for some reason.

He shook his head. "I don't know... did you see anything?" He paused, glancing back at the statue again, wondering just how much he should tell the younger girl. He'd been so excited about showing her the glade,he didn't want to frighten her now. "There was a ghost... at the shop, when I was little. I think... I think she's here too."
He held out his hands looking down at the strange new markings. What could they mean? Was she trying to tell him something? He shook his head. Either way, he'd felt no malice in her, and nothing bad had ever happened... either at the shop or here at the glade. What ever had happened, he felt confident it wasn't a bad thing.
When Kerryn found his hand, he flinched away involuntarily. He looked down at her, practically swallowed up in his sweater, and he couldn't help but smile. He took her hand, feeling much more at ease suddenly. She had that effect on him... like an old friend. "We'll have to come again earlier in the day, it's getting dark now."((Ray's new hand markings: ^_^ ))

Kerryn shook her head, "No. I didn't see anything. -" Ray's words about the ghost cut her off, eyeing his hand and the strange markings that adorned it. "She isn't going to hurt you.. or any of the others right? She didn't hurt you?" She asked, wondering why she felt that he had to know the answers to the questions she asked.
When he flinched away from her hand she couldn't help the distressed look that stole over her face, although it was washed away when he smiled at her and took her hand. "It was only me." She informed him, in case he thought it was the ghost that was trying to hold his hand the first time, letting the sleeve hide her hand and tickle against his.
"Alright, Bri probably is done her shopping by now anyways. Come on." She told him softly, taking a step back towards the forest and tugging on his hand gently.

"No, I don't think she'll hurt us.... " He let the girl lead them up the path, glancing back at the glade one last time, the sunset creating a halo around the angel statue."I think she wants to help us..." he said softly.
He nodded when she mentioned her mother. "We'd better get back before she gets there..." he said, suddenly realizing just how easily he could have gotten them both in trouble. "Want a piggy back ride? I think I can get us both up the hill pretty quick, so we can beat your mom back to the shop."

Kerryn nodded softly, listening to him talk, blinking as he asked her if she wanted a piggy back ride. Confused for a moment she didn't answer until it clicked what he was talking about.
"Oh! You mean that thing where someone carries the other on their back? OK!" She let go of his hand a little reluctantly, adjusting his sweater.

Ray laughed, thinking every child had been treated to a piggy back ride. He knelt and let her climb on. Once she was settled, he stood, her weight nothing more than that of a well packed back pack. He galloped up the hill, immitating a horse, as his uncle Torrin had done with him so many times before.
Yet again, a strange sensation of familiarity washed over him... but this time, it was tinted with a hint of sadness. Had he done this before? He knew he'd never given a child a piggy back ride... strange that it would feel so familiar.
They reached the passage just as the sun was setting just below the horizon, the sky painted in pinks, purples and oranges. He knelt again to let the girl slide off, and paused where he knelt, looking out over the gorgeous display before them.
"You had fun right?" he asked Kerryn before moving towards the door. "I'm sorry we had to leave so soon."
((Mere, would Kerryn have had children during her past life? just curious. ^_^ ))

((Yeah, probably only one though, and she would have been un married.))
Kerryn couldn't help the giggle that arose as he imitated a horse galloping, clinging tightly to him as he moved up the slope of the hill towards the forest, and through it to the passage back to the garden. When he kneeled down to let her off, she let go of him, removing her arms from around his neck and letting herself slide down his back until her feet touched the ground.
She stood there quietly as they watched the sunset, eyes shining as she watched the painted sky.
"Yes, I had fun. Thank you for taking me." She responded sincerely, "And, it's no problem. It just means that you have to bring me back sometime." A grin spread across her lips as she revealed this fact to him.
