"Thank you" Marlin said. "I hope so too." He loved munching on freshly picked cherry tomatoes when they were in season, especially the black ones which were to his way of thinking particularly moreish.

"And it was nice talking to you Hafwen" he grinned. "I'll be sure to give you some tomatoes to try if they're in season when you drop by."

But for now it was time to get back to work, get the tomatoes covered over and the pineberries weeded and fed with the feed that he'd taken the trip over to bring... After all a good yield didn't exactly create itself.
