If Armagnac's voice sounded like it was dripping venom.
I know. She took another swing at the shadow, and she was unable to hide her satisfied smile as she felt the blade slice through it's fear.

- All players must now navigate the labyrinth. Roll 1d100. - If you roll 75 or higher you have found the palace gates, perhaps only through a stroke of luck. That's odd, you could have sworn your friend was with you... - If you did NOT roll 75 or higher you still need to keep on searching the area, full of traps and dead ends. You need to continue rolling until you roll 75 or higher. - For ever time you do not roll 75 or higher (each reroll), you must subtract one of your given stamina points. If you hit 0, you cannot go any further/ you dissipate/ pass out/ are worn out. - If you made it past this round, you can proceed to round 3:

Wandering into a giant maze surrounded by giant vegetation and some kind creatures out there wasn't all that comforting.
He looked down to see a cracked tile, some sort of corrosive liquid oozing through it.

Jake barely registered that he had gotten separated from Sherry until he too hit a dead end, and had to turn around.

It wasn't like she was trying to get lost. Getting lost completely defeated the whole purpose of having someone come with you.
At least it wasn't her first time alone in a maze like structure. She could do this. She'd just have to trust that Jake would, too.
"That's just rude," Sherry scowled as she did her best to backtrack. After a moment, she called, "JAKE!" out the too the walls, though she doubted it would do any good.

Fortunately for Sherry, Jake had been close enough to hear her call out, and he flinched slightly at the voice. Unfortunately for her, he went in the complete opposite direction of where her voice was coming from.
Whether this was intentional or accidental, who knew.

Sherry was not really worried about the lack of response. Mystical mazes and such things really didn't surprise her much. And she knew Jake could more or less take care of himself.
"Armagnac, you are not helping." Talking out loud helped Sherry feel better.
So did not falling in that open pit, that one right there.

Sherry continued walking. The maze seemed to be full of traps, and an occasional dead end. She preferred the dead ends to the traps, that was for sure. Nothing said "Stay Out" like a blast of flame, or a board full of spiked trying to squash you. At least the dead ends didn't seem intent on death.
But she continued. (Not that she could have found her way out, if she'd wanted to.) Armagnac's grumbling was little help, but Sherry was used to that.
And then, suddenly, there were gates. And Jake.
"Hey!"

- The palace itself is quiet, peaceful, oddly beautiful despite its decaying and ruined nature. You see strange statues everywhere, depicting odd figures. You begin to hear a song and then feel slow, sluggish almost. - All players must roll 1d10. If any player rolls a 4 this is everyone ends up turned into a minipet and you are stuck like this for an IC 24 hours. You will immediately get portaled back home. (YES THIS INCLUDES HUNTERS). Otherwise match your rolls to the results: 1: You are now a minipet (just for you) 2: Nothing happens 3: You are now a minipet (just for you) 4: Everyone is now a minipet (and are portaled out) 5: Nothing happens 6: Nothing happens 7: - 50% of your remaining HP 8: Nothing happens 9: -50% of your remaining HP 10: You are now a minipet (just for you)
- All players need to roll 3 times to make it to the next round EACH - If you are turned into a minipet (individual) you can still continue on with the quest! - If you are turned into a minipet twice you simply change species. - If you are portaled out you must start again from Round 1! Yes, you can attempt this quest again as a minipet!
