Nona had taken the last few minutes of the train ride to study a map she had picked up on her little excursion. She had picked up two, but left the other unopened. Her eyes moved over it like she was methodically reading another mission file, feeding herself with her free hand. It would have been a travesty to go all the way to Deling and not get to enjoy that nostalgic candy; she stuck a few pieces in her pocket to save for later. When the train at last rolled to a stop, she folded the map back up again and handed it off to Vicaria, the other to Durentis. ”Don’t get separated, but just in case,” she informed simply, before rising to get her luggage. A laden satchel bag filled with spare clothes and the like was slung over her shoulder, and she hefted her guitar case behind her. Soon the group joined in the milling crowd heading off the train and out of the station. She thought she spotted Rabbit Boy in the crowd (that ridiculous green hair was hard to miss), but paid him no mind.

Their group was probably the heaviest-laden, given their cover as a band. Each had to carry an instrument case of some sort. It might make them stand out in the crowd, but it was still nothing unusual. Nona easily wore the mask of the disinterested artist (if it was a mask at all), paying no mind to the crowd around her except to avoid scuffing her case too badly. After a couple of minutes’ work, the trio had broken from the largest of the crowd and set off in a seemingly random direction down the street away from the station. Nona led the way, making no effort at conversation in the bustling city.

It was about fifteen minutes’ walking before she decided they had gone far enough. The crowd hadn’t thinned out much; the place was busy getting ready for the big event. The group took an alleyway that let out into a reasonably quiet street. Sheltered by the buildings close on either side of them, Nona examined the area before nodding. ”Get ready to move. Manhole, just to our right. Be quick with the instruments,” she directed without having them stick their heads out. Hefting her guitar case, she looked to Durentis with a smirk. ”Lend me a little lightning,” she requested, before that familiar swirl of magic came as she drew from him. The glowing trails of magical essence curled around Nona’s hand, before she pointed it out toward the open street. The flash of lightning was too quick for anyone to notice considering what followed. A pair of transformers on the power line on the opposite side of the street burst into a shower of sparks. Startled cries and shrieks of fear came as the fireworks rained down on the street. People took off in both directions, but none lingered near where the group needed to go.

”Go!” Nona directed after a few seconds, once she was sure everyone was running. Electricity crackled visibly around the transformers as lines threatened to fall, and the nearby buildings went dark as electricity was cut off to the local grid. They reached the manhole cover in a few seconds, and between the three of them and a little leg work, it was hastily off the opening. Nona took the lead heading down, pulling a flashlight from her bag. The smell coming up was overpowering, but she gave no sign of distress as she rapidly vanished into the blackness.

Beneath the street, Nona found her footing in the cramped tunnel and turned on her light, sweeping the beam around in all directions. Not much to say about this sewer that couldn’t be said about all of them...”Pull the cover back on,” she called to whoever came down last. People would come looking at the transformer sooner or later, but there would be no evidence it was anything but a civic malfunction.

What Lloyd was trying to say seemed to be perceived correctly by Ellale and Tae. The younger Laytos smiled and Tae pulled both of her friends into an embrace. The train had stopped. "Showtime ladies" Lloyd said as he stood and slung his bag over the shoulder. Upon exiting, Lloyd instantly went into mission mode. "Wooow~" he said taking a moment to glance around like a child wide eyed. "Hehe, 'A+' assignment here I come!" he said giving a thumbs up to a guard standing near the train who awkwardly returned the gesture.

Ellale, Tae, and he walked somewhat together all under the guise of students in awe and amazement. After all this was ,seemingly, their first time in such a place. The crowds were thick and the guards were preoccupied trying to keep an eye on all the passersby. Lloyd kept an eye out for a door the looked officially off limits. His turquoise gaze spotted a door labeled "STAFF AND MAINTENANCE ONLY. DO NOT ENTER". "Bingo" he muttered and causally made his way through the crowds until the group was near the door. Luckily, there seemed to be a commotion with a child throwing a tantrum on the walkway. The guards attention was diverted for those few minutes and the trio slipped into the door quietly closing the door behind them.

Behind the door was a long descending walkway which led to a gated door with a padlock. On the other side they could see, and unfortunately smell, a somewhat narrow walkway and foul water rushing down the corridor. "Alright ladies, here's the class assignment!" Lloyd said while he set himself then whipped his leg through the air making short work of the lock creaking the gate open. He peaked through the entryway and found it vacant of any persons, beside rats of course. Lloyd put down his bag and pulled out his pilebunker attaching it to his right arm. He glanced back at the two "Time to make history" sparks arced from one prod to the other momentarily illuminating the scene and Lloyd's confident smirk.

It was agreed, they weren't going to know what hit them! It made Ellale very happy to think about it actually, more so than she expected. They would do their best, and that was that. The train didn't take much longer to arrive in station, so any warm thoughts about how it should all go well were replaced with a sense of nervousness. The hug with Tae, and honestly Ellale regretted having to leave their little huddle, but they didn't have a choice. Ellale was on her feet just after Tae, getting her back and hefting it over her shoulder. of the three, her's may have weighed the most hence the need to use some strength to carry the thing. They were on their way with a brief word from Lloyd, Ellale smiling as she followed after him, near to Tae. Lloyd was as bright as ever, and then they were lost in the crowd, Ellale having to carefully work to stay with Lloyd. Her eyes swept the crowd, allowing her to catch her brother for just a moment before he was lost in the sea of people.

Lloyd moved easily through the crowd, and within a very short time they got to what they were looking for. The timing was perfect as well as a child started crying, making a scene. It was in that moment that the trio disappeared into the door, it clicking closed quietly behind them. Ellale shifted her back on her arm as they continued, looking up and down the hall with yellow eyes curiously. If they got caught here, they'd be in trouble, but she couldn't hear anyone else aside from their quiet foot falls, so perhaps they were alone. Sure enough, they didn't encounter anyone along the way and arrived at the gate to the sewers. "So far so good." Ellale commented, shifting her bag from her shoulder and to the ground. Lloyd kicked the lock down, the gate swinging open with a creek as he did, but after a moment of silence it was clear they were alone. Ellale unzipped her bag and started digging through things, arranging them in the bag.

"Give me just a moment." Ellale said softly, assembling her rifle with deft movements. It looked second nature to her as she did it, almost like she could do it under pressure and blindfolded. It didn't take long, less than a minute, for her to fully assemble everything and get it all in order, pulling her rifle over her shoulder, the strap hanging loosely. She picked up the smaller bag that had been placed to the side of the school supplies and let it hang across her chest so that the pouch rested at her left hip. And then, daggers. She silently pulled them out and attached them to the back of her waist, out of the way, before standing and nodding to the other two, her expression serious. It was a notable difference to the usual Ellale. Her training had taught her when it was time to be quiet and serious. This was one such time.

"Ready."

Quietly and without a word Varitas followed Nona, taking the map and putting it away in an inside vest pocket. When the train stopped he collected the bass gitar and amp cases he'd used as carry on. Soon they were busy marching through more people than Varitas had seen in years, though he seemed less concerned by this than one might think, mostly due to the fact he knew he would be lost if he lost focus. Soon they were out on the streets and after a bit of an electric display In the sewers. As soon as he made it to the bottom he swiftly rifled through the cases and donned the weapons he'd hidden. However he was careful not to discard any of the cases here so close to where the scene had been triggered. "The explosion seemed unnecessary as the guards would have their hands full with the crowd. Regardless we should probably carry the rest of our cases deeper into the sewers before discarding them now in case they search inside the manhole." Varitas was serious and his tone reflected that, but he was also only offering opinions and observations. One could easily tell from his dimeanor and tone that no judgement had been made for or against. In fact now he awaited Nona's next order.

{Current Theme Song: Dear God- Avenged Sevenfold}

The ride itself was quite long, even after the small conversation that was shared between the three of them. A long train ride it was. As soon as they both had answered, Riyel turned his head back out to gaze through the window, his eyes narrowing as he continued his gaze through the glass pane without another thought about the two others that dwelt within the room with him. Yawning slightly, Riyel closed his eyes, his hands gripping on the case that held his Gunblade before he completely fell asleep, completely unaware as to the rest of his surroundings. Once again, it was a dreamless sleep for him, a comforting black that he turned towards every night. His hair covered his eyes as he continued to dream, uncaring as to what Nona and Varitas were doing for the moment. In this plane in which he dwelt, sleep was all that really mattered. The darkness.
The stopping motion of the train brought him back to consciousness. His body was slightly tensed up but almost instantaneously, he became aware of his immediate surroundings. His mind was slightly fuzzy, sleep dust in his eyes.

Standing up, he stretched, his back popping and his joints creaking from the sleeping position he was in. Nona and Varitas were already ready to leave, making Riyel have to hurry moreso. Yawning once more, he wiped the sleep from his eyes and bent down, grasping the guitar case in his hand once more, this time much more firmly. Then almost like a shadow, he walked out after his two partners, stepping off of the train with a soft landing. Keeping quiet, he continued following after them. Honestly, he had nothing to say at the moment, taking a look around at his surroundings as he trailed them. Might as well get familiar with the environment after all. But all this walking led them down to an alleyway....in which Nona...did something...just stupid and needless. Riyel's face almost immediately turned into an irritated expression. He didn't say anything yet though, as he climbed down the ladder, covering up the hole as he dropped down from climbing down. "That was unnecessary." His eyes looked at Nona for a moment before looking down the path they were to travel.

Ring. Ring. Ring.
The sound had been going for a few minutes now.

"Nrrgh. Stoooop." Muttered the sleeping boy.

Ring. Ring. Ring.

"Damnit..." He eventually muttered, fluttering an eye open as he took the ringing contraption off of it's hook and put it to his ear. "Your guests have arrived." Said the man at the train station, causing the young Sorcerer's other eye to open wide as he realized why the phone had been ringing this entire time. "Much appreciated, ma'am." Wishing he had gone to sleep earlier instead of throwing a fit, the boy slowly began to get to his feet, rubbing his tired eyes before he began to stretch. "It is inevitable I suppose. Too bad my masquerade could only last for a night.."

Snapping his fingers, Salem turned where he stood and was out the door, and straight into the elevator. Though, not like he had much choice. Anyways, arriving at the bottom and head out into the streets, which seemed much more crowded then they were earlier, he grew a smile on his face and continued towards his destination. "Ah well, the curtain will rise on my act, yeah? Then we'll have a merry time when the real game begins." Though monologuing to himself had no real purpose besides to help steady his nerves. He couldn't hesitate today even if his sister could be there. This would be a moment that will be hard to swallow.

With everything that had happened from the day of their exam to now was nothing compared to what lay ahead of them. Being brave wasn't exactly something that came naturally. Knowing when you were on a losing battle yet still fighting could be considered stupid. For whatever reason her thoughts went out to her twin. Why had he been there at the dance last night then again at the gates this morning? Why was he even in her thoughts now?

Pushing that aside she followed Lloyd keeping close and watching the guards. She winced slightly at the screaming kid. They could be a handful and was glad for the distraction from the guard by it as they slipped into an employee only door; it closing quietly behind them. As she listened strained to hear for any other indication that they would be caught here she couldn't hear anything. Turning down the tunnel she could only begin to smell the sewers. It's only going to get worse further in.

Ellale took this time to get her gun out assembling it with deft movements. Most people would have had a hard time putting a rifle together, she would have had a hard time. Then again she never liked the feel of a gun in her hands and hoped that she never would have to result to using one. As the other girl took this time to do that she set her own bag down and took out her swords putting them in place with a sigh. That felt much better. She felt almost naked without at least one of them against her side.

With a nod when Ellale finished she glanced towards Lloyd who had already kicked open the lock. She probably could have pick locked it to make it less noticeable that someone unauthorized had been down here but it didn't matter now. What was done was done. “Ready.”

Once Lloyd made a move to lead them through the sewers she followed glancing around and trying not to inhale too deeply the scent of the sewers.

Just before the manhole cover could completely blot out the light from above, Nona turned on the flashlight she pulled from her bag. The stink of the sewers beneath the city was strong, but besides wrinkling her nose she made no comment on it. The beam swept left and right across the grimey walls, explored the floor for footholds, the ceiling for how high they could keep their heads. The sewage system beneath Deling was pretty generous from the looks of things, although the river of filth running between two walkways was hard to ignore. There was space to walk as long as one was careful, room to keep your head up for the most part. Varitas' comment earned a roll of her eyes in the dark. "Did I tell you to drop them? Let's get moving," she answered.

Soon she heard Vicaria settle onto the concrete behind her, and then came his little comment. ”Guess I’m lucky you’re not in charge. Don’t fall in the s**t water,” Nona answered him humorlessly before beginning to walk. She didn’t bother to explain herself, expecting the two of them to follow. She didn’t let the complaint get to her; all the men had to worry about was following orders. There was a junction not far from where they entered, and Nona paused to inspect a plate attached to the wall that had a letter-and-number identification system. After taking it in, she kept moving.

She stopped at the next few junctions in the same manner, inspecting the marker plates before moving on. Sometimes she went left or right, adjusting their courses slightly, but the group proceeded in generally one direction.

"Wait." Sou-Ho said, just barely holding his hand up. They had gotten off the train, and now stood in the hall that made up the boarding platform. Amidst the number of people who had also gotten off the train a large crowd had formed, but glancing up and down the hall he could see that there were no guards to be seen. "Let's wait here for a moment." He said, pulling out his notebook and flipping to a marked page. The page had a map of the station draw on it, with red marks at several points. He had assigned the other two teams to gain entry to the sewers at given points, but he had left his own make their way in at another, on the off-chance one of the other teams had to fall back or gain entry through another way (also marked within their folders). The only way he hadn't marked in the folders was through the tunnels. Meaning...

As the platform cleared of people, those arriving filed out of the room while those departed boarded the train, it was only a few minutes before the entire room was empty and devoid of people, the trains and their conductors already gone to their next destination. "Okay, let's go." He said, jumping down from the platform and onto the tracks. He referenced his notebook one last time before putting it back within his jacket. "There will be an entrance down here, but let's hurry. I'd rather not catch the next train."

The tunnels were darkly lit as they walked alongside the tracks, there being only a few lights along the tunnel. There were short walkways on either side, with a metal fence probably meant to keep anyone who had business down her from falling off. The walkways were narrow, however, and likely not meant to be traversed when trains were passing. Which, if they were lucky, they could avoid. "There it is." He nodded, directing their attention to a door. The door had a small sign that read Staff Only, and above that Maintenance Access. "With this..." He said, opening the door, surprisingly unlocked. "We should be able to get in."

Sure enough the door opened up into another tunnel, blocked off my a metal gate with a locked door. With a blizzard spell, and a well placed kick, the door broke free easily enough, the frozen metal shattering and breaking the door from it's deadbolt. The stench was more than enough to announce that they had made it into the sewers, but from where they stood they were hardly within the main catacombs, instead just within one of the maintenance tunnels utilized by those whom had to come down here when there were issues with the plumbing. "If the other two teams followed the directions within the folders we should meet them on our way to the President's Mansion." Sou-Ho said as they walked. 'But perhaps I should be more concerned about them getting in...' He thought, checking his notebook, though with the dim lighting, overhead lights only casting beams of light every few meters, there was little to go on. He had memorized the route they were supposed to take, as well as the others, but it was safe to check, as well as guess where the others might come in.

"Let's go ahead and discard our props here." Loosening his scarf, Sou-Ho lifted his bag from off of his shoulder, setting it to the ground as he pulled his scarf off and let it fall. He took the fake glasses off next, then bent down and opened the bag yet again, taking out what appeared to be a belt of some sort. Undoing his jacket and removing it, he wrapped the belt around his waist. The notebook he carried in his jacket went onto the belt, sliding into a type of holster that seemed to have been designed specifically for the notebook. There were other slots as well, and in three of them Sou-Ho slid what appeared to be small steel cylindrical capsules, although if the other two noticed and asked he would provide no explanation as to what they were. Lastly came a small pouch that hung against his hip, though what it carried was unknown as well. His sword, still bundled in the same cloth that it had been delivered to him in, remained gripped in his hand, Sou-Ho apparently deciding he would rather carry it than put it in the holster meant to carry his sword.

"When we exit this tunnel we will take a left. It will open up into a larger tunnel, that should follow right along the road we need to take. We'll find at least one of the other teams there." He explained, standing up and facing the other two. "Are you ready? Alright, let's go."

Kalay barely noticed when Lisanna grabbed his hand, getting him to glance back at her for a moment before looking ahead again as he took her hand, moving through the crowd and out of the train. She was relatively quiet, staying close to him while he followed Sou-ho. Kalay came to a stop when Sou-ho called for them to hold. He stood relaxed, one hand in his pocket the other holding Lisanna's hand as he looked around in a bored way. He didn't seem interested in anything going on around them while Sou-ho fiddled with his notebook. He could see, from where he was, Ellale as she and her group moved near a child throwing a temper before they disappeared into the crowd. Sou-ho held them for quite a while, before finally calling it time to move just before they were the last one's on the platform, which would draw more attention that Kalay figured they really wanted. By the time they had jumped onto the tracks per Sou-ho's instruction they really were the last ones on the platform, but this included guards whom headed along their way with the crowd which made this fairly simple for them.

They didn't waste time in hurrying along the tracks, Sou-ho leading them to the destination he wanted with ease. "This is going surprisingly smoothly." Kalay commented, knowing full well such a comment could get them into trouble later. When they finally got to the maintence path, Kalay let go of Lisanna's hand, mainly for comfort given the small hall. They entered the Maintenance access path with no trouble, the door unlocked. It wasn't like they expected anyone down here, so why worry about locking the doors? After a little bit of walking they found a gate leading to the sewers which Sou-ho dealt with right away. "If something goes wrong I'm sure they'll figure it out." Kalay commented, with a shrug, slipping his bag from his shoulder and to the ground. Sou-ho did some changing, removing his glasses and coat before pulling on his belt while Kalay pulled out his sword and attached it to his waist. He slowly stood back up after getting his sword before looking over at the other two. He didn't have much he had to do considering he didn't feel the need to change his clothing or do anything else more than he had done.

And with that, Sou-ho said it was time to go, giving the point they would meet up with one of the other teams. "About as ready as I think I can be with this place." That was most likely a jab at the smell of the sewers and the mission itself, but it was hard to tell if he was being serious or not as he waited for sou-ho to lead on so he could fall in step behind him.

Song(s) of the moment: Anxious Heart

User Image

The sound of the foul smelling water rushing down the corridor was all that could be heard, of course with the occasion squeak from rats. The trio had been walking for a little while now making good time. Lloyd would occasionally stop and check the minor signs of the block they were in. He was unusually quiet seemingly focused on the task of getting them to their destination without fail. That was the pattern: walk, check sign and map, then continue. The smell of the sewers eventually became less severe having to get used to it while in the area.

Lloyd felt anxious and began to think about what awaiting them on the other side. He glanced back at Ellale and Tae to check on them. When they caught his gaze Lloyd smiled cheerfully turned back around. They’d make it out of this, he knew it for certain now. There was something symbolic about this sewer. Besides the smell, it was mostly quiet and dark almost like the calm before a storm. The sound of rushing water reminded Lloyd of Fisherman’s Horizon…oh how’d he like to see home again once this was over. As he stopped at the next checkpoint he blinked surprised “We’re here.”

Before them was a long barely lit corridor, however at the end he could see two figures waiting. “…On guard, I think those are our allies" Lloyd said narrowed his gaze as he slowed his approach with the girls. He made sure to keep them behind him in case this went south in a hurry. Upon closer inspection it was a male and a female. The male had darkened hair and the female’s hair held a scarlet color, not to mention a great pair of...eyes.

They finally reached the two and Lloyd’s demeanor was just a serious shade cast over his usual attitude. After all, couldn't let these two get the jump on him. But first he had to tear his eyes away from the new woman's...eyes. “Ahem! Hello there, I am SEED operative Lloyd Nipal of Winhill Garden. You two must be the allies we are supposed to meet here.” He greeted and bowed a bit. The untrained eye, Lloyd just dropped his guard but in truth he had his eye on them closely. He sigh relieved and saw the two other walkways connecting to this final location of solace. Just beyond here…the fight of their lives would begin.

After Sou Ho stopped them Lis quickly gathered that they were waiting for the platform to clear, so she did her best to stand there and look inconspicuous, taking on the vacant expression of a bored student in a similar way to Kalay, except that hers was feigned whereas she knew his probably was not. She was a little too tense to actually be bored. When all the people had cleared she expected Kalay to let go of her hand but to her surprise he kept hold, which she was fine with. She nodded to Sou Ho in regards to his instructions and followed the two males as they jumped down onto the tracks. It was a little unnerving walking along them knowing that if they didn’t hurry, like Sou Ho mentioned, they could find themselves taking a slightly more fatal kind of train ride. This knowledge kept the girl anxiously glancing back every so often, causing her to occasionally stumble on the tracks.

When they came to the narrow maintenance path and Kalay released her hand she fell into step behind him. Sou Ho led them through the unlocked door into the next tunnel and Lis closed it behind her after following Kalay through, then stood and watched Sou Ho employ a rather unorthodox but efficient method of unlocking the next door. Upon proceeding through she immediately scrunched up her nose at the unpleasant smell, guessing they were now in the sewer system. It was also pretty cold, which might have been the aftermath of the blizzard spell, and kind of dark. All in all not a particularly nice place to be. Lis shivered and set off walking after the others, giving Sou Ho a slightly puzzled look when she saw him attempting to read his notebook in the darkness.
”Mmh, I’m sure they’re doing just fine.” She piped up, trying to be positive in reference to his mention of meeting the others, and nodding at Kalay’s comment. They were Seed operatives too now, so they should be able to handle something like this.

Lis came to a stop at Sou Ho’s next instructions and silently followed suit in taking off her bag and removing her concealed weapons, her sword going in its sheath on her back along with her arrow case, whilst simply carrying her bow in her hand for now. The bag of school props she left of the floor by the wall, slightly concealed in the shadows. Presumably it was unlikely anyone would come down here anytime soon, but if they did she wondered what they’d think if they found the discarded items. An ordinary person, like a worker, would probably just be very confused. Lis hadn’t brought any clothes to change into so she simply waited for the others and nodded when Sou Ho asked if they were ready, a faint smile tugging at the corners of her mouth upon hearing Kalay’s comment. It was kind of ironic that staying down here was actually preferable to going up there, where their mission and god knows what else awaited them. It really did stink to high heaven though. Lis pinched her nose as she began walking after her two companions, trying to keep her breathing shallow.

’If I live to ever tell anyone about this mission, I’m leaving this part out and saying we just boldly strode through the front door…’ She thought to herself, quickening her steps to keep up with the guys.

Given that the pair had already been standing there by the time Lloyd's group arrived, it was hard to say just how long the pair had actually been relaxing in the area. Their attire was radically different. While his red haired companion was in a red dress, the man that stood before Lloyd and his companions was certainly a contrast to her. His mouth and nose were covered by a mask, his eyes clearly visible with his hair covering his right eye as he watched them. In the dim lighting of the sewer, his left eye seemed an almost red-violet color. As they approached, he was the first to move, turning to face Lloyd with a hand on his hip and a serious gaze. It was as he moved that the sword in a sheath hanging from his side became visible, shifting against him as he moved. The boy seemed to relax after a bit, but his eyes seemed to keep wandering to his partner, Kiyari.

"Keep focused, boy." Was that a laugh on his voice as he snapped his fingers to get Lloyd's attention? It certainly seemed like it, suggesting the man clearly had an idea of why Lloyd kept looking at Kiyari. His voice wasn't hard and cold like his attire might have suggested being so dark and, oddly, assassin like. He seemed quite well humored, in actuality. Even with his voice being muffled by the cloth that covered his mouth, his tone didn't lose it's clarity. "Pleasure to meet you, Nipal. You can call me Zane, this is Kiyari. She's your main contact getting into the building. My job's to make sure you guys don't get caught getting in." It was of note that he didn't say anything about getting out, but getting in it was clear his job was pretty straight forward.

"For the moment you three can relax. We're not going anywhere till the others arrive. If you have any questions, you can ask them now or wait until the rest of the teams get here." With that, Zane gave a brief wave of his hand, his eyes stopping on Ellale for a moment. He didn't say anything, but there was a bit of a curious look there before he seemed to shrug it off as he leaned against the corner of the path they would be taking when the others arrived. He certainly didn't seem nervous about anything.

It didn't take long at all for them to get along their way, being rather silent as they walked even though they were probably the most boisterous mix of people of all 3 teams. If this was because they were each thinking about the mission or trying to not breath in the air deep was in question, but regardless, they were quiet as Lloyd lead them along the walkways. For some of the trip, when the stench got to be too much, Ellale covered her mouth, but at others it was bearable and they carried on their way using the dim lighting of the sewers to navigate. At one point she nearly slipped and fell, but caught herself, much to her relief. Falling on the ground would be bad, but falling into the filth would be absolutely terrible. Ellale very rarely took glances at the other two, mainly focusing on the path so as to not repeat her error of nearly falling. And then, they arrived at their final destination.

Ellale nodded her head lightly, shifting her rifle on her shoulder as she fell in step behind Lloyd, next to Tae. Her eyes were watching the pair they approached seriously, watching how they moved and responded to seeing Lloyd and his party. From behind, it wasn't possible to tell where Lloyd's eyes kept gravitating, but judging by the man's response, Ellale could take a guess. In any other situation, she would have hit him teasingly, but now really didn't fit into that situation. Ellale shifted to be closer to Tae as the man introduced himself and focused his attention on her. She didn't like that, his eyes watching her intently. "I'm Ellale." Was all she managed to muster up to say as she met his gaze. While his gaze was curious, her's was considerably less so. She looked rather uncomfortable to be watched by him, but she couldn't place why. It was like she didn't feel comfortable around him for some reason she couldn't quite place.

"I don't have an question." Ellale muttered, waiting for him to break eye contact with her, and when he finally did, she visibly relaxed next to Tae. He hadn't done anything, but it was clear he made her uneasy. There wasn't a reason why he should make her feel that way, he just did. It might have been the way he was dressed in hindsight, but that seemed rather minor.

’Not exactly the most pleasant spot for a rendezvous point, but I’ve been in worse places…’ Kiyari silently mused to herself as she waited with her companion in the cold, dark sewers beneath Deling. ’Better hope none of them fall in, or Edea will smell them before she sees them…’

For the most part the redhead said very little out loud, preferring to keep her thoughts to herself. She stood straight and still as she waited with her body slightly tense and her hand resting on the hilt of the sword at her waist. It was arguably the opposite of the man beside her, whom seemed oddly relaxed given the situation. This was behaviour that Kiyari had come to expect of ‘Zane’ by now though, even if it was unusual. She just treated him with the same stony indifference she did more often than anything and paid him very little attention. Her blood red eyes avoided him and scanned the dark tunnels instead, watching intently for any sign of life. The chances of encountering anyone besides those they were meeting were minimal, but you could never be too cautious. She had debated hiding her identity with a cloak and mask in a similar fashion to her companion however for her it wasn’t necessary on this particular mission…for questionable reasons. Amidst the sound of running water and the squeaking of rats her ears eventually picked up footsteps nearby.

Kiyari’s gaze flicked across just as three figures emerged from the dim tunnel and approached. Unlike Zane she didn’t turn to face them yet and instead simply kept her eye on them, particularly the blonde boy in front who seemed…greatly interested in her physical assets, as it were. Whilst she had encountered this sort of reaction plenty of times before and wasn’t really bothered by it, it didn’t bode well for a first impression of the young Seed before her. Of course that fool Zane seemed to find it amusing and Kiyari made a soft ’tch!’ of contempt, her eyes narrowing slightly at Lloyd. ’This is not playtime and yet Winhill sends children…’ She thought coldly. She’d known this beforehand, but seeing them in front of her now made it clear how young they were, and barely past graduation. Considering the fact she already thought this mission to be reckless and futile, their chances of success did not seem promising. Perhaps she was underestimating them though. Slowly Kiyari turned to face the three operatives and folded her arms as she regarded each of them in turn, apparently ignoring Lloyd’s little introduction as well as Zane’s response detailing his and her respective jobs. She already knew all of their names, along with probably more about them than they cared for her to know. The woman’s face was expressionless but strangely her sharp gaze lingered on Ellale the same as Zane’s had. She said nothing though, and when the moment had passed she returned to staring off into the dark again. There was no need for her to speak until the others arrived.
