The faerie's grin returned full force as he accepted the cookie, nodding in thanks as he tossed the sugary bits into his mouth, chewing thoughtfully.
Major anger management issues. Well, he got that right. Was it bad that Marosa crunched the arm extra hard?
... naaahhh.
"Again... tanks. Fer everythin'." Picking up his tea, he saluted it to Sharra, more than happy to spend the rest of the afternoon with him.
Tea and Faeries and Nergal Demons, oh my.Azure Desiderium Always. DON'T TOUCH THAT I haven't cleaned it yet. D8 WIPE OFF YOUR SHOES.

Further mauling his gingerbread elf, Sharra took a moment to savor the morsel before he answered the other. Honestly the Nergal hardly saw himself in need of thanks, but it was nice. It told the demon boil that he wasn't utterly screwing up this friendship at its very conception.
"Ah. Don't worry about it....you're welcome." The easy smile overtook his features again, the blond student's ego preening for ever so brief a moment as he accepted the gratitude. Damn. He'd missed camaraderie of this nature. How had he ever thought he could live without these experiences? Without anyone at all?
Raising his cup in an answering toast, "We're the best of mates, we are." Sharra nodded in Marosa's direction, the movement a jaunty acknowledgement.
Oh my indeed.

"Oh!" Marosa set down his tea after drinking a sip, pawing around in his sporran until he took out a small button. He held it out to Sharra with ease, a small smile splaying on his face.
It was his emblem.
"Oi figured ye needed this, seein' as we're best friends an'all."

The gesture was not unfitting.
Sharra perfectly agreed with the other boil's motives, the display of trust. It still surprised him, however, left the blond blinking for half of a second. "Marosa..." Slowly a smile etched itself across the demon's lips. Fingers slid into a pocket, and he put two fingers down on the table, the circular piece 'neath it showing a green clawed hand, stark against a black surface.
"Then if I need that..." A gesture, carefully reaching over to reverently pluck the emblem from the redhead's palm. In tandem, Sharra slid his own across the table. "Then you should take this."
It felt as though they had sealed some sort of pact.
Heh. He supposed that's what friendship was, really. A pact without set stipulations, a contract with the sketchiest of boundaries.
Sharra wasn't sorry. Not for this.

Marosa stared down at it, wholly not expecting the gesture to be returned. It meant a lot to him, and the faerie was at a loss for words to say.
He stared at the pin, taking it and smiling genuinely.
Best friend. Forever.
