Ialu blinked a couple times when the shiny Rayquaza was suddenly demanding answers of him, about how the Pokemon had been changing. The little blond opened up his mouth to answer when the dragon continued, saying that he'd heard of them finding stars of some sort and wanted to know where they came from. Ialu smiled, "They tend to fall from the sky mostly and yes, they are being sent, gifts of sorts to Pokemon that want to become something more." He explained, the ribbon like appendages on his back giving a little wiggle, "Hrm? How does one acquire a star? Well, really all you have to do is wish for one and they will come to you. If you are wanting one I hear that there might be some falling soon in a clearing not far from here." Not exactly the truth, it wasn't that he'd heard it, in fact none were due to fall... but if the dragons really wanted stars he would summon some of them.

Best that they fall in a clearing so that the big dragons would be able to spot them easier. If they were hidden in the woods it would be more difficult for them after all just due to the fact that they would likely have a hard time getting in amongst the trees, "If you want to see the stars fall though I would suggest getting there quickly, before other Pokemon find them before you." He said, floating up a little ways, looking across the river, pointing up toward the sky, "If you look close you can see them now, that little bit of silver glittering in the sky, that is them, and on time too."

As he said that Nidhogg jerked his head around, eyes going wide, before he spotted the stars, "There they are... are we wanting to go after those, brother?" He asked, uncertain what he thought about the idea. If they got too close wouldn't they change? The idea was one that had him a bit on edge if only because the idea of becoming so small was far from appealing to him. Still, if it made them immune to capture at least there was that, right?

The dark head of the shiny Rayquaza whipped around as his brother spoke. He squinted, golden eyes scanning the blue sky in search of the stars that the Jirachi spoke of. He growled, unable to see them at first, the lightness of their streaking blending in with the wisps of clouds that floated along. "Oh!" he exclaimed after a long moment of searching, unable to contain his surprise as to how he'd missed them in the first place. "I see them now!" He head whipped back to face Ialu, a stern glare on his face.

Jor struggled with his want to teach the little Jirachi a lesson in respect and needing to go after the stars. He knew where he could find Ialu; he found him this time without much effort, after all. He had a feeling that the Poke-human was hiding more knowledge about the stars and where they were coming from. In the end, the stars won out, he could always come back for Ialu.

Without another word, he spun his whole body around and sped off towards the stars. He wanted to make sure they go to them before any other Pokemon did, as the Jirachi had suggested. He even left his brother in the proverbial dust as he raced off, hoping to make it to the stars as they fell to the ground. He was not thinking of his next step; only that he needed to get to the stars. It was an all-consuming hunger in him. He wanted power.

Nidhogg looked between his brother and the falling stars a couple times, then watched as Jor was suddenly racing off after them. He gave a bit of a sigh, muttering about how he only wanted a nap, before he raced after his brother. He knew that his brother wasn't going to slow down any time soon, not when his eyes were on the prize. The most he could hope for was a quick resolution to this adventure so he could return to the sky for a nice, long nap, maybe until next week sometime, that would be good by him.

Nodding to the Jirachi he followed after his brother at top speed he did his best to catch up with Jor, "So, what now? Are you really wanting to change that much? Those stars are going to change everything, brother!" He called as he hurried along, wishing he could talk some sense into Jor. This was a terrible idea... but then again so was doing nothing. If they did nothing then there was always that terrible chance that some little brat might try to stuff them both into those accursed Pokeballs. They should have asked more of the Jirachi, should have tried to learn more about the stars and what they were contending with, but instead they were racing after the shiny things. So like a dragon to chase treasure he thought to himself in an amused manner, not that he made the joke out loud, not wanting to get kicked by his brother.

"There is likely no changing back... are you sure you want to be so... small?" That was the worst part about changing if you asked him, the fact that they were going to be so... small. It would be terrible if you asked him but at least if they were humanoid the other humans might not want to catch them anymore. If that were the case he could eat berries and nap wherever he wanted without being bothered, what a nice dream.

The constant questioning of his decisions by his brother were starting to get on Jor's nerves. Of course he wanted to change. Of course he wanted to be immune to capture. Obviously not everything would change. Sure, they'd look more like humans, but they would retain their abilities and powers, he was almost certain. The little Jirachi could float, just like he could before the change.

The last question was the final straw, causing Jor to whirl around on his brother and roar. "Small?! Why are you fretting so about being small? And who says we'd be small? I swear, you are testing my patience, brother." He whipped back around, considering the discussion over and hurried back on track toward the stars.

It didn't take them much flying time to reach the clearing as the stars fell, each creating a little crater. As they neared, Jor eyes glittered with all manner of hopes and dreams of power. He was so focused, that any further nagging from Nidhogg was ignored. In fact, if the skies opened, dropping Escher right on top of him, he probably still wouldn't notice.

He neared the crater of one of the stars, lowering low enough to the ground where his body was mere inches from touching the grass. Rarely did he drop down so close to the ground; he felt it demeaning to have to be this close to the filth.

Jor circled around the star he'd decided was his, only now debating the consequences. His brother was right, there was no changing back; at least he supposed there was no changing back. What if his new form was not to his liking? He did enjoy how he looked now so very much.

He took a deep breath and reached for the star. It was cool to the touch, despite its rapid decent just a moment earlier. He stared at it, a bit perplexed as nothing happened... but then he started to feel very tired.

"I have seen the humans! They are all so miniscule! I don't look forward to such a fate." He muttered, the end of his tail lashing, watching his moody brother for a moment then sighed. There was a part of him that wanted to flee back to the sky, to abandoned this foolish rush to obtain these stars... but he really couldn't leave his brother alone in this, could he? If Jorm was really so intent upon gaining the power that the starts provided then he would do what he often did, he would follow his lead. Surely his grouchy brother had to have a plan after all, right? Once they got these stars then... well, he would do... something? What exactly he really had no idea. Maybe figure out how to deal with the Palkia that Jorm hated so much? So boring... why fight amongst themselves when they could use their power to put the humans in their place?

He scooted closer to one of the little craters, glaring down at the tiny star was sitting in it, glittering away in a manner he felt was mocking him. He barred his teeth at it, giving a rumbling growl, then sighed when it remained silent. Not like he expected it to do anymore he supposed before he looked over at Jorm who was already reaching for his star, something that made him sigh, "Fine, fine... I suppose that if you are going to do this I will follow your lead. You better hope this doesn't come around to bite us in the backside, Jorm." He complained as he reached down scoop up his own star.

"Eh? Shouldn't something magical be happening? I feel pretty much... the... oh, there it is..." He said, watching the world start to spin around him as though he'd been hit by a Hypnosis attack before he collapsed into a heap, star clutched tightly in his clawed hand until it started to slowly crumble away, the spell within it being released.
