Ofelia raised her weapon back and brought it down against Jake, uncaring that his shield was gone and his weapon desummoned. It was like part of her didn't care and the rest of her just went along with it.
She didn't even really hold back or was she? It was so hard to tell, Ofelia didn't really know what she was even doing anymore, and when the last strike occurred Rue was dismissed right after.
The redhead stood over Jake's body, staring down at him with an unwavering eye.

The voice cut off, as Jake looked up to see Ofelia raise her weapon, eyes devoid of emotion.
Chester seethed, furious.
He didn't move.
The nergal was practically shouting.
Jake let out a sigh, but slowly got up, palms opened as the keys dropped to the ground.
The claw tore deep into his chest, tearing his shirt and drawing blood.
He let out a gasp and staggered slightly, glove staining red as it was pressed against the wound. Somewhere in his mind, there was screaming, a furious and desperate cry. It hurt... yet didn't hurt. It was so strange.
He shot the redhead a bitter smile before collapsing to the floor, motionless.

Ofelia sighed deeply, one of almost an emotional release, and Jake's body crumpled before her. It felt good, it felt powerful, and she stood there for a moment to let the sensation leave before she looked down at the torso of a person she'd swore up and down not to hurt.
He was bleeding everywhere, it was probably a very bad sign, and so Ofelia knelt down and started to drag him before something in her mind snapped. It was like a cold panic set in an she finally realized what she had done.
She'd been looking at Jake like he was nothing more than a body on the ground, not a person she considered her friend and honorary little brother. The dragging stopped as she looked at the streak of blood she'd created, Ofelia leaving a trail for others to follow, and swiftly Jake was pulled into her arms.
He was light to carry, perhaps too light, but onward she ran towards the infirmary. How was she going to explain this...?[A.V.] want to get in one more post, or have me mark it complete?

In all honesty, he should have known something was wrong the moment he saw Ofelia, should have known that if he continued to fight, she wouldn't have held back, and in the end...
In the end, it didn't really matter anymore.
All that pent-up frustration, worry, guilt, doubt... as his consciousness faded, both body and mind went numb. Darkness surrounded him like a warm embrace, and for once, death had never seemed more appealing. A release from it all, from all senses, from all the hurt and pain, confusion, self-pity.
He felt nothing as he was picked up, felt nothing as the young sun hunter panicked. If he could, he would have thanked her for putting him out of his misery, but as he was now... well... maybe he would thank her when he woke up... IF he woke up.
It was so strange... how come he couldn't feel anything? Was he... really dead? No... not yet... he could still hear Chester's voice, albeit it being faint... distant. Was he mad at him for giving up? For not fighting back? For not standing up to Ofelia as he normally would have?
After all he'd done, after all he went through... did anything change at all? Or was he still the same naive child, having to depend on someone else's guidance and protection?
Well, it didn't really matter anymore. He was tired, so so tired...
If Ofelia had been looking down, she would have seen his lips curl up in the faintest of smiles before his world went completely black.Rown YOU CAN WRAP UP NOW sldjfsdlkf sorry Q___Q
