"Nah, I won't get in any trouble at all. I just need to let my dorm adviser know ahead of time really." she grins as she enters her own number into Hafwen's phone. Glancing up, she arches a brow before she ends up snorting over her question "No, nothing like that. I'm actually very much single, and not looking to mingle at the moment." she sort of sworn of men at the moment after dealing with the one she thought was cute.
Saving her number, she hands Hafwen her phone back "It will be nice to hang out with you again. I like DCU, but I do miss alot of my friends from the Academy." she seen a few around campus, but with life being so different for her now.
She just didn't have the heart to go up and say Hi to anyone.baby_gwing So sorry hun, my brain just been a huge mess and refusing to work.

"Alright we'll have to fix a date for that then. You and me together for a weekend. Sounds wonderfully scandalous already." Hafwen chuckled, letting her gaze meet Mel's briefly before waggling her eyebrows. Swapping Mel's phone with hers, she checked her contact list to ensure that the older girl's number was indeed there then slipped her phone back into her pocket.
"Ah... I have to say that I'm surprised though. I thought that you'll be hooked up with someone by now given what we were talking about earlier. Did something happen?" She really hoped for Mel's sake that it was just a case of her having yet to come across someone right for her and not because some jerk had broken her heart. She would hunt that guy down wherever he was and kick his butt hard if that was the case. "Alas such is life isn't it? People coming together and then going their separate ways..."

And I just decided to let love find me...instead of looking." she gives a small shrug as she place her phone back into her pocket "Its easier that way honestly." she tries not to laugh at Hafwen's comment about a weekend being scandalous. Though, knowing the mess her and Hafwen use to do...
It could be very much true.
"Just let me know when your free to come visit really. And I will plan something for us to do." she was already coming up with a few ideas, watching soccer. Getting Hafwen to check out the soccer team at the university.
Might as well help her get one foot in right?

"I see. Maybe that's for the best then. No point keeping a guy who gets all cocky from knowing that a hottie like you are interested in him. You're well worth the effort it takes to win your heart Mel." That came as a relief really. At least it seemed that whoever Mel was seeing had parted ways with her on neutral to good terms without any of the unnecessary drama that frequently occurred between the couples in TV shows and movies. Yet another reason why she could never see herself in a relationship with someone ever.
Nodding a few times, she lifted her wrist to glance at her watch to check on the time as well as remind herself of the date. Mid-January. Hmm... maybe they could fix a date during the coming spring vacation in April. "Alright. I'll see if we can plan something during the coming vacation... unless you have already made plans to head out of town or something?"

Mel didn't comment on her love life anymore, she just shrugs before she took glance at her watch. It was getting late, and she needed to get going. Things to do, and alot of studying. Not to mention, she had to go on a patrol this evening.
"Alright, text me the dates your free. I have nothing planned at the moment, but if that changed you know I will let you know." she steps towards Hafwen to give her a hug "I really need to be off, things to do. The joys of being in college." she gives a weak chuckle before taking a step back "Give me a call okay? I'll see you around." backing up, she gives a small wave before she turns, heading back towards the university.baby_gwing Can call this one done..after your post.

"Got it. I'll text you the dates when I get back to the dorm later tonight or at some point tomorrow." Hafwen accepted the hug from Mel, giving the older girl a squeeze in return before pulling back with a smile on her face.
"It's okie. It was nice catching up with you Mel. Do take care and I'll see you around too." Waving back to her as well, she watched her turn before doing likewise, picking up her soccer ball and then heading down the path that would take her directly back to the Crystal Academy dorm.
