"Your lucky you weren't up there like that longer." She said while looking up and over to the tree where he'd been caught. He was very lucky. "You should work out maybe so you can lift your upper half up, so your not hanging upside down the whole time." In case it happened again, as it seemed it very well might. At least if he had strong enough stomach muscles he should be able to lift himself up, and maybe even help himself, if it happened again. That way he wouldn't be upside down the whole time and so dizzy.

How odd of her to give out advice like this when she herself had been told, not all that long ago, to learn self defense.

"I'm alright. I'm not the one who was stuck in a tree." So no need to worry. She's just had to climb a tree, and climb down it, which hadn't been easy. But being in the others position was not easy either.

"I see...so you work with the Negaverse?" She might be standing oddly, and she was a little, but it wasn't anything she couldn't walk off she supposed. Learning to first walk in heels had resulted in much the same twisting of ankles. It had not been easy and that had been years ago, she'd been walking in heels of one sort or another since she was twelve. While she thought no side was good in this war she didn't say that, not wanting to start anything. But, this was a war and the city the battle ground and it took damage from every side, the odds just weren't in favor of a single side not doing damage at all, and civilians were put in dangers. No side was innocent or all good in her mind, and there was no way to change her mind either. Even the side she was now on was guilty as far as Winterlynn was concerned and she would love to avoid this whole thing, even though she'd been told how that was impossible, so she could avoid being involved in the further destruction of the city and the suffering of it's people. Not to mention she didn't know who to trust and really, to be honest, trusted no one and figured she never would - it was simply her nature, and this was war and really not trusting anyone and fighting in a war didn't seem compatible. You needed to trust someone, right?

He took a mental note on that. Work his upper body and keep himself fit enough to pull himself up if he did get stuck in a tree again. And because he had done it twice already it was not entirely unlikely that it would happen again. He smiled in appreciation of her advice, nodding his head a few times exuberantly.

"Well, I work with the Dark Mirror Court, but we sometimes help the Negaverse when we can! I think it's nice when we can work with other people, instead of against them. There are already too many enemies around here.

He moved to kneel next to her, looking at her leg and then glancing up at her.

"Just hold still, okay?"

He smiled and it was the most trustworthy smile in the world. He reached to touch her leg gently and mumbled something softly to himself. It was his attack name, which was actually not an attack. It allowed him to heal small injuries, or at least ease the pain and bleeding of larger ones.

"I see. So your two factions on the same side..."That bit of information, small as it was, was tucked away in her memory. How fractured were the sides in this war; as it seemed from what she'd been told that there were sides. It seemed things were more complicated than she'd have thought. And now she had more questions, questions she'd ask others.

"Ok." And she did hold still. Her head tilted downward to see what he was doing. he might feel dark, and he did, but nothing about him worried her or set off mental alarms. He seemed..genuine and altogether different from the blond General who'd attacked her.

"What are you doing, if I may ask." She was nothing if not answer seeking and curious about this whole thing. It would be what kept her powering up and coming out at night, if nothing else.

"I'm healing your leg!" He said easily, focusing on his magic. It was an easy process and he looked up at her when it was done, smiling at her sweetly.

He straightened up and chuckled lightly at her.

"Thank you for all the help! I'm sorry I caused so much trouble, but if I hadn't been stuck in there we wouldn't have met! So I think it worked out for the best, don't you? Hopefully your ankle feels okay too!"

He would use a more powerful spell if he needed to, if she was hurting still, but he hoped he had healed the damage that he thought was his fault. And if there was more that needed to be healed he'd do that too, just because he could and he was nice.

"Healing my leg...you have that ability?" She asked. Still new to this she didn't know what was normal, common, or uncommon for others to be able to do. She had a lot of learning to do, things to find out, and she knew it.

"Uh- yeah. My ankle feels fine and I'm glad I could help." Her smile, though slight, was genuine. She was always happy to help people - it was what she did. She was good at helping people.

"I should be going, and I assume you have other things to do tonight since your not free of the tree." Assuming he had been trying to get down, so he could go and do something, previous to getting stuck.

Virtus smiled and nodded his head.

"Yeah, I should get back to my patrolling, though I think I need to go home and feed my pets soon." He wasn't sure if he remembered to feed them before he left. Usually he was very good about making sure his rabbits were well cared for, but tonight he had been so distracted, and then he ended up in a tree.

It had been a strange night, he had to admit.

"Thank you for all your help! I hope you have a good night and I hope we can meet again! It was very nice to meet you." He smiled brightly and nodded his head, glad everything had worked out so well. If he had his perfect little world, he would just be friends with everyone and they wouldn't need to draw lines between them as far as their teams went.

But that was his perfect little world.

"Do try not to get stuck in any more trees. Someone may not find you next time." She said with a small, very small, smile. He had pets and he couldn't remember if he'd fed them? Shaking her head she eyed the blond. "Yes, you should go make sure you fed your pets. I doubt they'd be happy if you'd forgotten to, it is rather late."

He really was a very odd one, given the dark feeling coming from him. "No problem, it was a pleasure to help. If we meet again I hope it's not like this again." She said honestly. For someone with a dark aura he certainly didn't seem dark, not like that blond General.

"Have a good evening, Virtus." She spoke and turned to head off. Maybe she'd call it a night as well, and consider herself to have done a good deed as well.
