"Well," he offered, and then went silent entirely. His eyebrows raised and relaxed as he eyed the food he had been brought. His gorge rose and he decided that he would not be staying after all. He lifted his drink and took a couple of burning, ungentlemanly gulps before fishing in the bag he'd left on the floor and removing an unusually tall stack of coins. He held them out for the barmaid in his unharmed hand, though the other was now dripping and the clean one slightly smudged. There was no attention being paid to his wound. Finally, he spoke again. Morai took a little affectionate nibble of Eris' fur. He had not met another Chosen before either.
"I apologize for clearing out your establishment. Here." He waited for the woman to take the coins or else force them into her hand before scribbling his address on a strip of paper. It was also slightly stained. "Should you ever wish to speak to me again." He moved to leave, looking to his Guardian who seemed less willing. His ears folded back and he looked to his Chosen and then to his new buddy and back again, his expression terribly sad. Gabriel simply adjusted his posture and waited.
"Morai. Viens avec moi..."
The Guardian sneezed in derision.
