Rosetta ~ Serenia
Rosetta silently watched a young Peiso dragon bounce over to the group of Drakein. She wondered if it had bonded with anyone, or if it had been with this group the entire time.
She could barely make out something blue flying steadily toward the group. Whatever it was was not big enough to be a dragon or a Drakein. And the light coloring suggested to her that it most likely was not an Oblivionite.
More movement caught Rosetta's eye as a small group of Magesecians making their way over to the group. Probably searching for eggs or someone to scuffle with, she thought.
Rosetta sat on the ground, the lush green grass creating a wonderfully plush surface to lay on. She stretched out her wings and her legs, getting comfortable. She decided to watch how things played out, and decided not to act unless she was brought into the action.

Grrel(On Eowyn)
She hesitated at the Dovaa's words. Go down there? Inside his range? Definitely not! "How can you not tell it was an egg? An egg is an egg! " She sniffed and looked down her long scaled snout at the Bonded pair. "Really, the excuse you two-leggers come up with! First one dovaa says he doesn't understand and that he was somehow helping by stealing our eggs and now you say that you didn't know it was an egg! Why not just say you stole it and be honest about it! " Lashing her tail disdainfully, she examined her claws for any imperfections as she continued to harp at Samril. "Fine, lay out your lie of how to you 'stumbled' across the egg that you apparently didn't know was an egg and yet you still decide to take it home to play with. Hmph! While I do understand that you aren't a Drakein, and may not be able to sense what we can but still! How can you not tell it was an egg! Rocks are not smooth and do not have the heat and sounds of an egg! Sheesh, are your ears and eyes too dull to tell what an egg is?"
Grrel would have continued in the same stream except she heard a vaguely familiar voice chirping her name. Turning around she saw a Keindred bounding towards her calling her name. A smile creased Grrel’s face as she recognized the grown Kioda. “Aw, look at you! You’re so much bigger now!” She pounced upon Kioda and nuzzled her playfully.
Kadryn (on Serenia)
Kadryn was flying over the Drakein group watching them to make sure they didn't kill any of the egg thieves. While she thought that it was wrong, she didn't want the thieves to die for their stupidity. Chasing, on the other hand, was fine and rather entertaining to watch. As she hovered, she looked down and spotted Thea among the group. A smile crossed her face as Kadryn remebered how Thea had been looking for an adventure on the day they'd first met. "Maybe I should go say hi? That and tell her not to steal eggs.. Maybe if she met Grrel and talked to her for a bit she wouldn't want to steal them..." Nodding her head at the idea, she dropped out of the sky towards Thea. As she landed softly by Thea, the other little ones to screamed and ran away. Apparently they'd only had time to see a blue winged figure incoming and mistaken her for a Drakein coming in for the kill. Kadryn watched them run away and smothered a laugh, kids these days! She turned towards the girl she'd come swooping down to meet, "Hey Thea! What'cha doing out here following that gaggle of scardey cats?"

Kioda - Eowyn
Turning her eyes back towards Grrel, Kioda squeaked and tried to back up. Her wings she had been flapping about, fell to the ground with a fluttering thump. The larger Drakein was heading strait for her, she hadn't prepared for a game of Tag! The young Keindred claws dug into the dirt, quickly attempting to turn around. The soft ground didn't offer as much traction as the ground back home.
Using her wings as best she could to help with both her balance, and speed. Kioda squeaked as large claw like paws landed around her. She hadn't been able to make a single step. Only a small pile of sand gave any indications of her fleeing attempts. Turning her head up in a defeated burble, more giggles escaped as she was nuzzled.
"Kioda. Follow. Grrel!" Wings fluttered as Kioda returned the nuzzle warmly. Her tail wiggling back and forth playfully. Squirming free of Grrel, Kioda chirped and whistled her pleasure.

Though she had ended up with a group of others, Thea could only smile when they took off running. She of course turned and stood ready to fight! A warrior didn't back down...
And then she heard the voice.
"Kadryn! What are you doing out here?" She asked as her shoulders seemed to drop a bit. While she admired the older woman she was disappointed not to meet a Drakein.
"I want to see what all this fuss and change of heart is about. Something has to be going on!"

Samril + Sparky - Eowyn
Samril scowled. How was he supposed to have known it was an egg? Sure, it'd looked like one, but he'd thought it too small to be a Kiandri dragon egg and so it had become a rock in his mind. "It wasn't even in a nest. It was buried in sand..." He muttered, kicking at the sand at his feet now. So she didn't believe him. Fine, who cared? But Sparky was obviously old enough that he hadn't disobeyed any orders after the Drakeinians had become known as a race. And he was trying to help them now! And all because of Sparky. He couldn't bear to think of some of the mean people (that one Oblivionite girl came to mind...) he'd met in charge of such a young creature.
But the older Kiandri Drakein's attention was diverted from him and toward a rather familiar looking little green Drakein.

Kavanna - SereniaKavanna awoke with a start, leaving her bedroom and going downstairs, she found Anna, her to-be sister-in-law sitting at the table with a notice in her hand. Kavanna sat next to her and she began to scowl, talking about how these 'dragons' wanted equality. Being her usual self, Anna got up and left the house without another word. Kav was quite confused. She took the notice and began to read.
Well, it seemed as though Aevah wanted to go out and capture more eggs. This wasn't necessarily a good thing. She needed to get to the bottom of this and figure out what exactly these creatures were. She left Damian under the care of her to-be mother-in-law, Naomi, and left the cottage in search of these strange new creatures.
It wasn't very long before she came across a few Magescians that were much younger than she. What were they doing? Was that...Maslin? She wondered. She shook her head, the little Dovaa that she had met with a few weeks prior was just across the way it seemed. The Expert outstretched her wings and glided forth in a quick effort to catch up to her friend.
"Maslin, is that you!?" she called as she came flying in closer. It was...well what a surprise. She knew that he lived on Serenia and that he hadn't been to the Celestial Plane, so maybe that was why he was here. Oh, now she rather wished she had brought Damian along.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Plesidio - SereniaPlesidio awoke with some news from his little brother. Apparently they were free, the leaders of the Drakein were finally saying that they shouldn't be attacked any longer and that peace shall finally rule supreme over the world, or so Rhazes had stated.
Sid took the news and nodded. "Take care of Zaeka and Armoren, I'll be back before dinner." the Peisio Drakein said, diving into the water from their little underwater cave they called home.
He quickly swam through the waters and burst forth from the sea, flying as quickly as he could to Serenia, where he would surely find some Magescians.
As he did, he landed quietly and peered out through the trees to see a couple of what seemed to be Dovaa and a small Keindred across the way. He eyed them ever so intently, not making much of a sound and trying not to be seen. Just watching to see what they would do.

Elleth_ Eowyn
Elleth shielded her eyes as she watched the strange creature next to a very familiar looking Dovaa, who seemed to be shouting at a humaoid looking dragon. The Oblivionite felt out of the loop as she watched their interaction, seeing as how it was one part hostile one part exasperated, and while her hearing wasn't sharp enough to catch everything from this distance, she could make out the fact that they were arguing about...eggs?
Standing up Elleth tried to brush the sand away from her legs, only now recalling the missive she'd gotten from her leader pertaining to the new species and their rocky relationship with them. She snorted, 'do anything indeed' she thought to herself, and swung a simple satchel over one shoulder. It was filled with the basic food rations and a lot of water, as well as a sticky paste that helped to keep the sun from burning her.
Cautiously she made her way to Samril's side, completely missing the moment when the green dragon popped up. She didn't know what she was doing, but she was going to do something. Maybe play a distraction if Samril needed to run.

Maslin and Lazuli ( Serenia)
Maslin was thrilled to hear a familiar voice and gave a genuine grin when he spotted Kavanna swooping down towards him. It would be nice to have her along if the drakein they were trailing turned vicious, after all she was bound to be significantly stronger than he was. Besides that it was nice to have someone to talk to given than Lazuli was still barely capable of words and not exactly in a chatty mood.
" Hello Kavanna," he offered a friendly wave while keeping an eye on Lazuli who had paused in his pursuit to stare at the approaching stranger. The keindred never attacked people but he was already on edge today. "That's Lazuli" he pointed " I didn't steal him." It was probably best to get that out of the way first, especially given how high tensions seemed to be regarding drakein right now.
~~~ Lazuli whined softly and paced back and forth. He wanted to chase his bigger kin, he wanted to stay close to Maslin and the strange lady and most of all he wanted the feeling of being watched to go away. The young Peiso drakein was not quite sure what to do.
Grrel(On Eowyn)
Grrel was happy to see Kioda, it was always a wonderful thing when a Keinling lived to grow. Especially in these days when the two-leggers now knew about Drakeins.
"You followed me? But how?" She asked before remembering that she had flown above the Orderite's ferry on her way to Eowyn. "Oh! Nevermind, I think I figured it out." She nuzzled Kioda again, "Such a brave girl! You must have snuck on the wooden boat of the two-leggers! I'm so proud of you!"
The dovaa's words finally registered in Grrel's mind. Found it buried in the sand? But who would lay an egg out in the open desert and leave it? ... Grrel sighed, she knew what had happened. After all, it was her her own clutch sister who had done just that. Fell for a beautiful warrior, then had some drama and ran away to sulk and show that she was right and he was wrong. Grrel shook her head. She thought of when her sister had come slinking back with a sob story of how she'd laid an egg but it'd been stolen. Now I know what happened, she thought, silly Amilrria must have gone off hunting and come back after this one had stumbled across it.
Grrel thought for a few moments about her sister and realized that Amilrria would have been a terrible mother.. not only had she left her egg in the open where anyone could find it, she was silly, tended to forget things easily, and really only cared about herself. Perhaps this little one was better off with a responsible guardian... Oh if only Amilrria wasn't such a drama queen and so silly! Then the little one would be safe in Grrel's own clan where there were many Drakeins willing to look after him and he would be free!
Grrel sighed and called out, "I think I'll have to believe you, Dovaa. Since my clutch sister did lay her egg in the open desert and did come back to the clan afterwords saying it'd been stolen. Knowing her, you probably did just find it in the sand. The little one might be related to me if it was her egg. " She glared at the duo from her perch and demanded; "You better take good care of him! No treating him like a pet! He's a person with feelings and thoughts of his own! Though he'll probably never be free, I want you to give him as much freedom as possible!"
That stupid bond! If only there was a way to break it without killing the Drakeins..... But he did seem happy, so perhaps the dovaa was not a slave master and would treat her kindred fairly... Grrel's head swerved towards the dark figure that was approaching. An oblivionite! And a strong one too, Grrel could see that while this one was not as strong as the dovaa, it was still stronger than her. This could be dangerous...
Kadryn (on Serenia)
Kadryn was amused at Thea's reaction to her appearance. Slightly disappointed; perhaps she'd wanted to fight a Drakein?
She grinned, "I'm out here making sure no Apprentice's die or steal any eggs. Saw you and thought I'd come and say hi. Were you hoping for a fight with a Drakein?" She raised an eyebrow as she planted her mace on the ground and leaned against it.
"Something is going on; all these little idiots out here want a free ticket to power by stealing Drakein eggs. I disagree with that and am out here to keep them from stealing any. If you're out here to steal any eggs, I'll have to stop you." Kadryn didn't want to hurt Thea, she liked her too much, but she wasn't about to let anyone steal a child from its family when she could stop them.
Kavanna - Serenia"T-that was what was in the egg, wasn't it? The egg you said you had obtained during our last meeting. That's a Drakein..." she said. No wonder the boy was confused. It wasn't a natural dragon egg at all. From what she had heard, stolen eggs were popping up everywhere and she didn't even know what to make of it all.
"I understand...it's nice seeing you again, Maslin. Be very wary of these parts though, the Drakein have been quite angry lately." she said. Obviously she had known of the Drakein, but they were always to be hunted as regular dragons. Now they were saying how they were just like the rest of the Magescians. That didn't seem right to Kav, but she was willing to try and make peace with them as long as they didn't hurt her or her family and friends.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Plesidio - SereniaSid sat tall, had the little Keindred noticed him? He seemed fidgety and he couldn't quite make out why. His eyes peered down at the little group, Maybe he needed to scout the area for other potential thieves.
He spread his wings and sprinted off the little hill he was on. If he wasn't seen before by the two Magescians and the little Keindred, he definitely blew his cover then. He continued to soar passed them as to not cause a fight. They weren't really doing anything wrong, but he was confused as to why the little Keindred was so uptight.
Moving over the land of Serenia, Plesidio found a couple of Orderites chatting. That is where he decided to land. "Orderites! I do not want to hurt either of you. I've simply come to check out what has happened to this world. I received word from the Drakein leaders saying we were free to move about. But I also heard that eggs have been stolen from a few nests in the area. Do either of you know what this is all about?" he asked the two, hoping to find some answers. If they were going to instantly attack, he would have to flee. He wasn't a fighter, he was a negotiator and not one to fight unless his family was in danger.
Maslin and Lazuli ( Serenia)
The young man nodded at Kav's statement, Laz's egg had indeed been what he'd been referring to at the time. It was unfortunate he'd never been able to be totally sure what was inside until the then keinling had hatched. Maslin gave a derisive snort at the warning "One of them has already tried to kill me back when Laz was smaller."
At this the young drakein hissed and glared off in the direction of the drakein seen earlier. He would never forget the kiandri that had harmed Maslin.
Maslin, shook his head in response. " Drakein outside of Lazuli are problematic encounters." Technically right now everything was a problematic encounter for him. " How are you and Damian?" He imagined it was harder to find peaceful places with people traipsing about hunting for drakein eggs all the time.
Kioda - Eowyn
A tremor ran along the small Keindred's back. Her body shaking in the response, her wings unfurled with the motion. Once the shiver had subsided Kioda pulled her wings back against her body. "Boat." Kioda responded tilting her head to the side when Grrel continued. When more nuzzled were offered Kioda burbled, returning the nuzzle's affectionately. She loved the affection other Drakein's offered her, it was like another form of play. A better form that made her feel good all around.
Snapping her attention towards Samril and Sparky, a low rumble escaped her. Who was interrupting her precious attention!? Distracting Grrel from giving her, the much desired nuzzles! She had forgotten the two legged creature and the Kiandri version of her self.
Extending her wings as she listened to Grrel speak. Her head shifting so she could see both Grrel and Sparky. They were related? She had vaguely remember hearing her mother say something about stolen eggs. And how they best be careful when wandering around because she didn't want them falling slaves to the two legged beasts.
Shifting towards the edge of the ledge she and Grrel were situated, Kioda brightened. She knew them! And she wanted to say hello, perhaps today would be different and Sparky would play with her. Glancing at the rocks and sand around her feet Kioda calculated a path on the way down. It would be hard, and she would end up having to glide at some points but if she was careful she could do it!
Leaping and gliding Kioda picked up speed on her decent, squeaking piteously as she lost control. Her claw catching around a rock sending the small Keindred tumbling forward into the sand at the bottom of the ledge. Her wings held out on either side as lay flat against her back on the soft sand.
She hadn't yet recognized the dark Oblivionite figure approaching her. Snuffing to release the sand in her nostrils.
Rosetta ~ Serenia
Rosetta breathed a sigh of relief when she saw that the blue flying thing was indeed a Magesecian. And by the looks of it, she appeared to be friends with the other Orderite that hadn't scattered when she had landed. She was close enough to catch snippets of their conversation but nothing really made sense. Then out of nowhere something zoomed by very close to her. Startled, Rosetta scrambled backward until her back was against a rather large tree trunk. She watched the thing stop by the two Orderites and listened to it speak. She could her this one better, and her eyes widened when she realized that it was a Drakein. She tried to calm her once again racing pulse, and to slow her racing mind. She tried to stay as quiet as she could, for she didn't know if either group was going to attack.
Samril & Sparky - Eowyn
Grrel's words caught Samril by surprise. Sparky... related to this one? He blinked and glanced to the Keindred at his side. "I will, I promise." The Dovaa replied in response to the Drakein's demand. Though he wasn't so sure about the pet bit. Sparky, while able to talk and communicate, didn't seem much smarter than most pets, but he'd keep that thought to himself.
As Grrel's gaze turned to Elleth, Samril turned. It took only a second for him to place the girl and he grinned. "Elleth!" He happily gave the Oblivionite a hug. "Long time no see!"
Sparky's attention was on the Oblivionite for only a few moments as he'd never met the girl. Instead, Kioda's squeaks caught his attention and he turned, sniffing for a moment before he placed this Ysali Keindred as the little playful Keinling he'd met not that long ago. His tail wagging happily, he pranced along over to where Kioda was sprawled in the sand. "Fall down, go boom?"
Elleth- Eowyn
The Oblivionite grinned as Samril gave her a hug, "Really long time, you've gotten taller on me." She commented, hands reaching up to further exaggerate the small height difference. Which would be greater if she weren't wearing her monstrous sandals. Not to mention that he was still quite the pretty boy and the small crush she'd found herself with hadn't faded in the least despite all the time apart. Perhaps she had a thing for those whom she knew could hold their own in a fight.
"Hey, this one isn't bullying you is...she?" She murmured, tilting her head so that she could watch the others. Though she was no expert on dragon gender there was an almost feminine air to Grrel that Elleth had picked up on. But being female didn't mean that she wasn't capable of being dangerous. Though Elleth honestly wasn't there looking for trouble, if that's what she found, well, she'd happily partake in the resulting chaos.
