Lotus managed to narrowly dodge the Ice beam. That would've been bad if it had hit, since she hated cold-based attacks.
"Good job Lotus!" Dreidyn cheered. After the stumble in the beginning she was finally getting back into the game. "Keep on using Rock Smash!"
The Vibrava hovered over Cashmere for a second, aiming herself, before swooping down with her tail posed to strike again.

Cashmere twitch, a clear miss and cried out as he was struck again from the Rock Smash. He twitched, purple eyes bright and sent a other wave of ice at the Vibrava without orders.

This time the Ice beam did hit and the sheer cold sent Lotus to the ground. She really really hated ice moves. Flapping her wings to shake the frost off her body, she charged at Cashmere with renewed efforts. She wasn't going to let anyone get away with an attack like that!

It was going to be a gamble but they were going to loose if they couldn't manage. Shoma swallowed and nodded. "Cashmere! Attempt to freeze her."
Cashmere chuffed, battered from the rocks and attack, sending ice at the Vibrava again.

Lotus could only think 'oh not another Ice beam' before the attack struck her straight on. Her wings froze over, and then her entire body, and she fell to the ground encased in ice.

Shoma panted, looking at the frozen Vibrava and then back at the trainer. "Cashmere is not doing to well, and your pokemon is frozen... do you want to call it a tie?" She would continue if the other wished it to go on to the bitter end.
Cashmere fluffed his fur, covered in dirt and bruised. "Bu...buneary."

Even when motionless the Jump kick didn't connect. Dreidyn was relieved for that respite but Lotus was still frozen and unable to fight back.

The Jump Kick smashed into Lotus's icy prison, creating cracks on the surface. It wasn't enough for her to break free though. The Vibrava was able to move a little bit and tried frantically to flap her wings to shake the ice away.

The next Jump Kick shattered the ice that immobolized Lotus and she flew into the air without hesitation. She was still shaky from all of those powerful hits and wobbled a bit while she hovered but if she was going to lose, she wasn't going to make it easy for Cashmere.
"That's my girl!" Dreidyn shouted. Like Lotus, she wasn't going to be defeated without a fight. "Ok now, Supersonic!"
The Vibrava took a deep breath and dived at Cashmere, her wings emitting a high pitch screech that resonated throughout the ally.

Lotus prepared herself for impact but the Buneary's Jump Kick failed and he ended up kicking himself in the face. Seeing her opportunity, she dove at Cashmere again, swinging her tail to deal a powerful and hopefully final blow.
