"Early Magic by Ebony Morninglow? he said skeptically and pulled the book from the shelf. His eyes widened in surprise as he flipped through the pages. "What rubbish is this? And what kind of a name is Morninglow?" He looked up at Verily, on the verge of erupting into laughter. .....keep talking while I'm walking away all that bullshit you talk might work a lot

Ver giggled and looked over his shoulder at the book he was skimming through. "Morninglow is a witch name didn't you know?" She asked, raising her eyebrow at him playfully. "All magical people have to have a secret code name once they become all magical and stuff... obviously!" She said jokingly, wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing his cheek. "Surely you have a secret code name right?"

"Oh my, how could I forget? Erm..." He tried to think of a silly name to give himself and couldn't. Instead, he smiled at looked at Verily. "Mine's a secret. What's yours?" Ver thought about it for a moment. "Mine is... Greylily of course."She said, trying to keep a straight face and failing miserably. Instead she burst into a fit of giggles and fell against his chest. She had just mixed her favourite colour with her favourite flower, and it sounded ridiculous. He didn't know, and he didn't care too much currently. He wrapped his arms around her, still laughing at the name she had come up with. "Merlin's beard, these books are ridiculous. Look at this spell," he said and showed her a long incantation that required burning potion ingredients and stuff. .....keep talking while I'm walking away all that bullshit you talk might work a lot

Ver twisted in his arms so she could read the book as well, and immediately started giggling as she read what had to be done for the spell. "So... to light something on fire I have to burn the essence of a unicorn's breath while reciting the...." She quickly counted the words in the incantation before continuing. "37 word long incantation in latin, and then draw this symbol, " She pointed at the simple picture of a little symbol in the book. "On the wall...." She shook her head laughing. "Wouldn't it just be easier to grab a match and light something on fire that way?"

Ver blinked and smiled as his lips brushed against her cheek. She twisted back around in his grasp and nodded. "Yes they do, and I've missed you more than you could ever imagine." She whispered, brushing her fingers against his cheek. She leaned up gently and pressed her lips against his. She was going to move away after only a few seconds, but she couldn't bring herself to do so. Instead she wrapped her arms around his neck, and clung to him like he was the only person in the entire world. Like he was the one thing keeping her from falling into the oblivion.

He held her to make up for the months they hadn't been together. He held her for the many months he wanted to he with her again. "Ver, I should bring you home," he said, softly. Ver snuggled against him happily and was just happy being here with him. If she could, she'd never want this moment to end, but he was right. She should get home, before her father got worried. She sighed and tilted her head back to kiss his chin. "I don't want to go... but you're right." She whispered, frowning ever so slightly. She had spent far to long away from him, and parting with him now even for just a tiny bit seemed like it would be torture.

Verily blinked up at him, immediately smiling brightly and nodded her head. "Please come visit!" She said, tightening her grip on him, grey eyes wide with excitement at the idea. He was right too, school was just around the corner, and then they would see each other every day and nothing would be able to keep them apart. She kissed each cheek, knowing it was just as hard for him to leave her as it was for her to leave him.

Ver giggled as he kept kissing her in between his sentences. She smiled, walking happily with him, hand in hand. She frowned slightly at his words but nodded her head. "Of course. I never meant for anyone to get hurt." She shrugged helplessly and leaned against Erik for support. She sighed quietly, and looked up at Erik smiling just slightly. She leaned up and kissed him gently. "But you.. us... this.. is right. And nothing could ever change that." She whispered, full on smiling at him now.

His arm started to itch. But then Verily looked up at him with such disarming eyes and said words that made the frown and itch dissipate. He smiled at her and kissed her back.
