Grrel was so preoccupied on controlling the powerful magic she'd woken up inside of herself that she didn't notice the rock fly by her head. By calming herself and waking the magic within herself, she'd given her mind time to calm and analyze the situation. I .. I think I'm gotten enough power... Hope I don't kill the Keiling by accident.. Grrel worried about that, this was such an explosive power.. maybe she should have tried listening before pulling out this much power... after all, this Dovaa hadn't seemed to use any power that came from a bond.. maybe he hadn't known a bout it?... Well, too late now! And he should not even have a Keiling so he probably stole it and deserved this to happen to him! Grrel shook all doubt form her mind and opened her blazing eyes, she was ready to deliver a bright electric death to those below her.

The best thing the young hybrid could think to do was defend one more time and then maybe just maybe there'd be a chance to reason with the hopefully exhausted beast. As she looked down, she saw the Dovaa was still there, good. He hadn't taken the opportunity to run away and force her to chase him down. As Grrel hovered in mid air, she gathered the last bits of power about her. A snarl ripped from her scaled lips, soon she would blast that puny egg thief with so much power he wouldn't know what hit him!! ... Well, she would hit him, and he'd know that and.. hmmm, that phrase really just didn't work with what she wanted......

Grrel pulled up and flipped over to realign herself for another charge at the Dovaa.. who was asking her to listen. Listen? To what? Some pathetic lie about how he 'found' it and decided to take care of it?! Egg's didn't walk out of nests.. the only way to get one was to take it from the nest! No, she would not listen to an egg thief.
Snarling and feeling the thrill of lightning as it charged through her and sparked off her scales, Grrel forced all that power into her fore claws. She would end this. It was a pity the Keinling had to see violence at such a young age, but it was a necessary evil. Perhaps once the Dovaa was gone, Grrel could take the Keiling to a Peisio clan and have him taken care of by his own kind....

Finally! Grrel flapped her wings and landed near the fallen Dovaa. A frown creased her scaled face as she saw the Keinling dash whimpering towards the Dovaa. Perhaps she should have tried kidnapping the Keinling instead of fighting; that would have sparred him the sight of this. She shook her head sadly, guess there really was no saving a bonded from the enslaving force of the bond.
As Grrel had a second to think, it occurred to her that this Keinling would probably view all Draekins with fear or hate now.. since it had seen it's 'parent' get hurt by one. At least only eggs could be forced into a bond, once a Drakein was born they were safe from slavery, but what to do now? Should she try to fly this Keinling to one of the Draekinian leaders? That might be the best plan...
Grrel stood up and walked towards the keening Keinling. She would carry him to Eowyn and ... Before she could finish that thought several Orderites burst in on the scene; they must have heard the fight and had come to help the Dovaa. Snarling in disgust, Grrel flew into the air. There was no way she could take on all of them as tired as she was.... This Keinling would have to be left in slavery a little while longer. Grrel would have to see if there was a way to raise a bonded away from their Enslaver... then maybe she could come and save this one.....
