"Appropriately named, that one." The breeder chuckled softly and gave a nod of his head to the miltank before turning his attention back to Kurai. "The name is Gepardo, nice to meet you" He held out a gloved-clad hand. Lilliputti slipped out of it's trainer's backpack and flopped on the ground. "Diiitto" It peeked around at all the pokemon before using transform. Turning into a pretty little tiny white murkrow. "Muuuurrr" She peeked up at her trainer, ruffling up her new feathers proudly. "Yes, Lilli, I am very proud...if it wasn't that you already knew that one." Lilliputti deflated a bit at that and began to hop around, trying to find a new form.

Encouraged by the laughter, Parthenius nosed the lining of Tenko's boots, her tail wagging quickly. She offered a curious bark and was just about to bite playfully at the trainer's fur coat when a sharp command compelled her to stop.
Dismayed, she settled for putting her paws on Tenko's knees and pleading with her eyes and low whines to be picked up.
"That was close," Arwen said, relieved. His face was a bit flushed, both from the cold and his haste as he'd rushed over. Parth didn't know her strength, and Poochyena weren't called the bite Pokémon for nothing. The coat (and his wallet) wouldn't have stood a chance if she'd gotten to it.
"Sorry about that."

Walpurgis wandered into the group as if on accident. With his long hair drawn into a ponytail, he smiled cheerfully. He bowed deeply and gracefully. "Greetings, chance companions! My name is Johannes Faust, a healer of some renown!" Walpurgis laughed joyously, but stopped upon noting no one clapping. He gasped. "Could it be? Has word of my talents not reached far Zatao?" He put a hand to his head. "Oh, what a sad turn of events! Why, it must have been fate that brought I, Johannes Faust, famed wandering healer, into your company this eve! Surely no matter your business, it is best to be healthy!" He smiled to himself, nodding. "Yes! It is decided - I shall accompany this group, and word of my talent shall spread like the diseases I cure!"

A Tropius ambled along in the foothills of the mountains, heading roughly toward the gathering of people. On its back reclines a young man, who was flipping though the photos on a digital camera, deleting any that were blurry or otherwise unusable. He only looked up from the task when his Tropius looked over its shoulder and grunted at him.
"What's up, Salvo? See a new pokemon?" Shaun asked. In response, Salvo turned to gesture with his head toward the group of people some distance away. Shaunturned and sat up to peer at the group as well. "I wonder what's going on. May as well take a look. I'm sure any group like that will have pokemon I can photograph." With that, the Tropius as its passenger turned to join up with the group.
When they got near, Shaun called out to anyone in the group that chose to answer: "Hey there! What's going on here?"

Marlo perked his nose to the air when a sweet, fruity scent wafted by and tickled the underside of his sense. Following the wonderful aroma like a famished zombie, the Electric-type came face to foot with a large Pokemon. Closer inspection gave way to the fact it was a Tropius, but he didn't care for that. Instead, his concentration was aimed straight at the chin fruit dangling with the Grass-type's neck. Yet, beause the Mouse Pokemon was so pudgy and the other Pokemon so darn tall, he was left stretching his entire length attempting to snatch one of the golden delicacies. He gave an arduous effort, but his attempt came to no avail. That's the outcome when his obstacle is at least three times his height.
As Marlo remained seated under Salvo, waggling his arms in the air as if he were drowning on land, his trainer was preoccupied sitting about and waiting for something exciting to occur. When nothing did, he turned to his Raichu to converse the matter, but was stalled when his companion had wandered off. He hadn't gone too far, as the officer noticed, and the middle-aged man trundled toward him.
"Oi, don't go wandering off, you idiot." Osmond said, twisting up a lip and giving the Raichu a hardened glare.
Marlo, expressing sudden relief at Osmond, fluttered a watered, evergreen stare to his owner, paws tucked under his chin as he pleaded to the man. He nudged his paw towards the fruit, tearing up, but Osmond shook his head in no. As the Raichu cried in disdain, Osmond chagrined and turned up to Shaun.
"We're going to be hiking up this mount soon," Osmond relayed to the young man. "I don't know the exact details, to be honest, but right now, we're just waiting for more people to get here."

Lex had planned on something a bit more fierce then a Glameow but they got on well enough and the small cat pokemon would be of interest to his alter personality. Lexis had more cold weather clothing to chose from, so he squirmed into the necessary padding to shape his figure into a feminine form. Extra insulation, yes, always good for a trip to the mountains. Long johns, a deep purple dress of soft lambs wool, high warm stockings and wool line boots. The heavy past his knees winter coat that tucked in at the waist and flared out like a skirt in soft white. Gloves, a scarf and a round hat that covered his ears and made his curls frame his sharp angle face.
Some carefully applied make up, and a small amount of jewelry and he was a rather convincing stylish young woman. Lexis grinned and set the white square glasses on her face and heft her backpack, giving a whistle. "Come along Glamour." Stray or not, the little thing needed a name. Lexis grinned as the small cat pokemon clambered up on her jacket and settled on her shoulder. She glanced around the room, he, we, she the personal settled, like all good cons one really needed to adopted the self like a skin, had paid for them to store the things for now. Two weeks should be more than enough time to find this mysterious legendary pokemon.
She hummed and left, amusement making her painted lips widen in a smile. "While, look. They seem to be waiting for us." A Tropius? Interesting choice of pokemon. "It must be nice, to be able to use your partner as a taxi service."

Shaun noticed the Raichu come up and watched its antics curiously, then pulled out a camera and snapped a picture or two of the rodent reaching up toward Salvo's head. His attention was diverted when Osmond answered his question, though. "Oh, a hiking trip? Sounds like fun. Is it invitation-only, or can I tag along?"
Salvo peered down at the Raichu and tilted his head at it. <"Hey, is something wrong?"> he asked the smaller pokemon.

Dave walked up to the group with a Growlithe at his side. While he found a spot to sit and wait for things to get started, his fiery pup decided to meet every pokemon and trainer attending.Miles ran up to the nearest Glameow and gave a bark of greeting, wagging his tail.

Osmond tried his darnest to ignore Marlo who was tugging at the faded denim of his jeans and pointing insistently to the fruit under the Tropius's chin. "Ahh, I'm positive its a free-for-all. I mean, the guy or gal who arranged this thing doesn't seem to be around yet, so I am sure you're fine to join us." the officer replied to Shaun, scratching the back of his noggin. Marlo stretched his eyes up to connect his verdant gaze with Salvo's. " " the Raichu spouted in a whiny tone. ""

Lexis tipped her head and frowned as the Growlithe started barking at the Glameow perched on her shoulder. "Hush," she grumbled, lifting a hand to stroke the purple feline as it arched and hissed.
Glamour, really the Glameow was tolerating the name because the human fed it tasty morsels and was warm and comfortable to nap on, did not like dog pokemon. The feline hissed again, and grumbled as only a cat can, shifting to show it back and rear at the Growlithe.

"Great!" Shaun said to Osmond. "I'll stick around, then. I'm a pokemon photographer," he said, holding up his camera as proof, "And while I'm particularly interested in documenting the wild pokemon of this region, I'm always glad to see ones owned by trainers as well. Like your Raichu there. I hope you don't mind me snapping a picture or two of it. If not, I can just delete them, since this is a digital camera."
Ah, so the Raichu was hungry? But Salvo hadn't missed when Marlo's trainer had shaken his head at the rodent. <"Yup, I have fruit. But I don't think your trainer wants you to have any,"> he replied.

Jackariah shivered in her miltank sweatshirt. She wasn't used to being out this early. Shelooked over at stein and smiled a toothy grin at him.
That's when she saw it. A miltank standing next to another owner. She squeed silently and pounced over to it to crouch next to it happily. "Hello!" She said, then realized it might be rude not to greet the owner as well. She smiled up at Kurai and greeted her as well. "Hello! What is your name?"

There was already a small crowd of people at the bottom of the mountain, with quite an eclectic bunch of pokemon. It almost made her wish she was a pokemon watcher, so that she'd have an excuse to pester their owners to get to know them. Maybe she'd pick one to observe, and pretend. Or maybe not. It'd depend on her mood, and if this "adventure" ended up being interesting or not.
"Ahoy thar!," the pirate said, greeting everyone. She didn't think there were any other Aqua's going to be around, but she'd have to keep an eye out for them. She'd rather be around them than any landlubber, but she'd make do with what she had.

The path to this mountain had been tricky to navigate without assistance for most; without sight and her usual guide-growlithe, Seru nearly hadn't made it to the mountain. Luckily for her, however, her Banette, Aden, had made sure not to leave her too far behind, and even went back to hold her hand over the most difficult bits. Currently, the ghost was doing just that; there was a downed branch that was nearly as thick as Seru's thigh that she would've tripped over, and, although he was of a playful, trickster nature, the Banette knew when Seru would be put into danger.
Pausing mid-step over, Seru perked up a bit- she could hear others nearby, a small crowd, it seemed. She smiled at her pokemon, and then moved to put him on her shoulders, like a child, and started heading towards them. She lifted a hand and waved. "Hello~!" she said to the nearest people to her.

Keria looked around the mountain. She was a bit nervous, this was the first time she had willingly walked into something that could be dangerous. She hoped it would be less crazy than the museum and the cruise had turned out to be.
The gym assistant sighed before smiling, she could do this, I mean what could be worse than the crazy mansion or the bidoof infested island right? Besides there was something about that howl that drew her here. Some one from the gym needed to investigate it after all.
She petted the emolga on her shoulder as she continued to look around. "Hello"
Voltron's tail twitched, there where a lot of people here. That meant that there was also a large chance of villainy. From stolen food to Land slides, the superemolga Voltron is ready for them.
