Akakios shook his head as his dreams began to fade and waver. He then snored some more. He fell down to the ground and rolled around, unintentionally trying to dislodge the Purrloin.

Once the Purrloin was off he began to trample the ground. He then raced around in his sleep. Finally he raced back at Perseus to ram into her again.

Perseus barely avoided being turned into a pancake, and she went beneath the merry-go-round for temporary shelter. Before the Zebstrika could wake, however, she returned to resume her meal.

Akakios tried to wake finally realizing he was dreaming when the dream wavered again. However he wasn't able to. He neighed loudly in his sleep and tried to get away from whatever was attacking him.

Perseus could tell the Zebstrika was close to waking and grew alarmed. She rushed at him in return to leap lightly onto his shoulders and devour as much as she could.

Perseus ran past from under him, having had more than enough of the horse. As she did so, sand was flung back towards his feet.

Akakios avoided the sand and ran around. Once he drew near Perseus he put his head down and charged. He ran even faster to put more force into the attack.

Perseus was thrown up with the force, and it was only her innate ability to land on her feet that saved her. Extremely cautious after such a blow, she continued to put distance between them, spraying more sand from under her feet as she did so.
