Perseus turned around at the insult, though with her fur matted with sand and foam, she looked far from threatening. She aimed another blast of sand at the Houndour contemptuously before racing off.

Farvardin spat some sand out and glared at the Purrloin. She then rushed at Perseus and attacked with all she had: teeth, claws, paws, and head. It was an all out attack that didn't show signs of ending.

Perseus backed away quickly, head held low and turned aside in defense. She could barely get an attack in under the large, fuming dog, but she managed to escape and spray some sand with her hind feet in the process.

Farvardin got hit with a small amount of sand. She chased after Perseus ready to attack again. She caught up quickly and unleashed her fury.

Perseus managed to slide past the Houndour's paws. Her flank got nicked in the process, but she was glad to have avoided anything more serious.

Farvardin got sand in her eyes and began to shake her head. She ended up stumbling and falling down. She was quickly recalled.
Alexa sighed when Farvardin went down and thought about who to send out now. However she didn't get much choice as suddenly one of her pokeballs released a pokemon.
Masked Socks appeared on the scene and lightly growled. She somehow knew her sparring partner had gone down. It was time to make the other pay. She burrowed under the sand and attacked the Purrloin from below.

Socks was furious she had missed and thus mostly ignored the crying. It was an annoying sound however and she wasn't able to completely block it. She once more burrowed underground and then attacked.

Perseus only screeched harder as a result. She kept her vision at Alexa to see if there'd be any response now that Farvardin was out of the way.

Socks showed how annoyed she was with the crying by hardening her tail. She then swung it at Perseus with all she had.
Even with Farvardin out of the way Alexa knew better than to respond to an opponent's crying. She focused on Masked Socks and shook her head. That Iron Tail wouldn't be very useful when the Lucarios came out.

Perseus fell over stiff-legged, for all appearances dead. She wondered if this would get a response from Alexa, but was recalled before she could see.
