Pharos grinned right back at Aventine now sporting dirt and grass stains and grinned right back at Aventine. She nodded enthusiastically. "Thank! And yeah, but you have to be real careful about kicking up dust or you'll miss. I always kick up so much dust." She laughed at how her move would be illegal in rugby, but lit up at the prospect of trying the sport. Pharos was always up for something new and as she had never played before, she was more than willing to give it a shot.
She took Aventines hand and hopped up with her help. This had really help, but her mind off the dangers of the night and made her remember that she was a farm girl and she could do far more than she thought she could.
"That would be so much fun. I love getting out and doing something new and I will never mind dirt or a bit of rough housing." She was excited, she practically vibrated with excitement and for now the sparring tactic demonstration was forgotten. It seemed she had made a new friend tonight and that was even better than learning a new move, to Pharos anyway.

Aventine was grinning again, seeming even happier than before now that Pharos had accepted her offer. "Oh, awesome! We will definitely have to meet up some time! You're one of the few people who actually wants to take me up on that! And afterwards we can go do something nice, like get some food!"
Aventine's not-so-secret passion for food was hard to miss; she loved to eat it and loved to cook with it (try to cook with it). Plus—she needed more girl time! With most of her closest friends out of town for college, she'd been struggling to make up a new group to invest in.
"I don't have a pen or anything on me—do you? We could swap numbers or something, I can text and we can set up something? —And maybe set up some more training stuff, maybe patrol a bit?"
She'd been doing fairly good on her own so far, but Aventine wasn't entirely irrational about the whole thing; she knew that she was at the bottom of the food chain and that all it would take was one bad in counter to put her out of commission—permanently.
She was way too young to check out of this world yet, and ifs he could help it, she wanted to be around for a long time, still.

Pharos laughed, “well I lived on and pretty much worked on a farm all my life. We came to the city for farmers markets and stuff like that, but we didn't do that much else really. So whenever someone offers I get excited. I want to try everything.” Sheltered, yes, Pharos probably was a lot, but she did do some things like carnivals and didn't really realize to much what she was missing until she found herself bored in the city.
Pharos frowned slightly, when asked about a pen because it was the second time she'd actually needed one when on patrol. She shook her head, “no I don't, I have my phone. I can just power down and put your number in, if that's okay. I don't feel anyone else, so it should be okay.”
Pharos didn't really wait for an answer, so much as let go of her power and fished out her phone. She now stood wild haired in a tie dye hoodie and paisley leggings, wild hair spilling down her back in every which direction. “Uh ready!”

Aventine held up her hands as though to insist that it wasn't necessary (she probably would have done the same thing as Pharos if she'd have thought of it first) though when she was too late to protest, she just relaxed, laughed and put her hands on her hip. "Oh—all right then, that works too!" She fed the girl her number, not bothering to power down, herself, and waited to make sure she had input it in.
"—And so—yeah! Feel free to text or call! Shoot me something so I can put you in my phone, too! …And ah," she laughed, "I promise I'll try not to text you with dumb things. Sometimes I sleep text, sooo," she paused, cleared her through, "Yeah, watch out for those. And I'll probably try to send you pictures of my dog sometime or another but I promise I won't try to abuse your number and I will text you to meet up!"
She seemed excited, grin wide and just beaming from the thought.

Pharos grinned and quickly entered Aventine's number into her phone before folding the flip phone and tucking it away in her hoodie pocket. She listened as Aventine talked about texting her and was a bit shocked the girl could text in her sleep. She guessed it made since though, since some people could sleepwalk down steps.
"I don't mind if you text me silly stuff. I hardly use this phone anyway, it could use a bit of text time. Oh and I'm Eliza, just so you know," she said with a laugh. Pharos wasn't very into technology, though it was probably obvious from the fact that she was happy sporting a flip phone from ages ago.
"When I get home, I shoot you a picture of my kittens, that way you can have my number and before bed awww, speaking of which I better get home to them. They are going to want some attention before they let me sleep."
Pharos had no intention of powered back up, no she felt tonight was productive and she was more than ready to go home. "Have a good night Aventine. I can't wait till we meet again."

Kittens? She said kittens? Oh, hell, if tonight wasn't the best night she'd had in a long time. "Yeah, absolutely! I look forward to that text! You get home to those kitties and have a good night! —It was super amazing to meet you, Eliza!" Quieter, she added, "And I'm Anella—if anyone asks! So I'll see you around and can't wait to meet up again! Night!"
She offered a friendly wave, and since she was still powered up decided to make what use of it she could. Spinning on her heels, she started off home in an excellent mood—just as delighted as she was for a new friend as she was to get home and snuggle her dog.
