Sammy's eyes had wandered just as well as Jerry's. She looked at her in the same way she had a slice of steak, something delicious, something she wanted but didn't entirely need right then. She had a chance after all at least she might considering she was hand in hand with another sharp dressed girl. Still she made no move as Jerry shuffled over, he might have seemed off or slightly clumsy but Sammy had to admit she respected him for being the first one over to talk to her like that. It took a fair bit of courage or insanity to do that.

Instead she worried about something else, moving to join Tracey and Rep picking up her own glass of wine after sampling a strawberry dipped in the chocolate Rep was so enthralled by.

"Of course he has good taste, you of all people would know that." She licked the last of the chocolate off her fingers before sipping the wine Tracey had taken before her, also quiet good. "It's not often he goes this far for all of us let alone all at once. You're Rep I take it, even without stating your name earlier most people know you."

Candace had plucked a twinkie off the platter when she felt Po tense beside her. She knew what that meant: someone was approaching and Po didn't approve of them. This was either going to go very well or very badly. One look was answer enough.

Very badly.

Her lips pouted as she chanced a glance Harrison's way, almost silently pleading for him to step in and distract Jerry. She knew there would be no such hope. Ugh. And he hadn't even dressed for the occasion! He was still in his janitor uniform for Christ's sake! But nevertheless Candace put on her best, most charming smile as Jerry approached her and spoke. It was something she was good at, being diplomatic and pretending she was having a good time. It came with the job. "That's putting it lightly, I think." Po was practically bristling at Candace's side, calming down only when her partner put a hand against her arm. It was okay. "I'd love a drink, Jerry. Thank you." Turning to Po, she pat the woman's shoulder. "I'll be at the bar with Jerry. Make nice with the other children, darling."

Po snorted, stealing the twinkie from Candace and claiming it as her own with a single bite. "I'll be watching."

"Yes, yes." Candace turn turned to Jerry and slipped her arm around one of his to link arms with the man, holding her other hand out in front of them. "Lead the way."

Rep took in the woman who approached him with a blazing sort of interest, a look mirrored almost exactly by the tiger by his side, it was as if there was an internal tug of war between whether it was time to be aloof or if prey had wandered over and set its neck in their jaws. He didn't take that wild blue gaze off of her, even as he took another sip of his drink, the tiger rumbled.

Tracey stayed leaning against the table, quietly keeping one eye on Rep, she was his bodyguard but at the same time set there for the sake of other people not as well versed in handling the wild animals that were her charges.

"You think this is him going far, you've no seen anything yet." he crooned, seeming for the time being to have deigned to set Sammy under the aloof category. He handed the glass to Tracey who took it neatly in her long nails and went to dispose of it, and leaned in close to Sammy, his voice a low purr. "Most people know me? What do they say?"

Violet eyes locked with blue, though her eyes where sunken, a weary look of someone who spent no time sleeping and was constantly watching, there was almost a fire to them none the less deep inside. She only lost contact for a moment to offer the Tiger the same sort of look before moving back to Rep the moment he spoke.

"I hardly see anything, works usually kept me busy whenever he hosts a party, but if it gets better, well, I know I'm in the right company then." As Rep leaned in Sammy only smirked. "That you're loaded, the Boss likes you and it's simple as that." She paused and snapped her fingers, "Oh yes, and the people who when your mentioned usually get rather uncomfortable? Something about them being terrified of seeing you pissed at them." She looked down between them at the tiger grinning more, "That and it's hard to miss the man with the white Tiger. Makes you stand out just a tad in a crowd."

Jerry's face went white and his voice cracked. "You... really?" He glanced back over his shoulder t Roar's twin thumbs-ups with a look of terror. "R-right! Ahahaha right, right um. Um. Yeah..." He dipped his way to the bar, feeling out of sorts, but a good stiff drink would calm his nerves, right? Right.

He glanced the lady over.

Oh god, oh god oh god he was over his head here what did you order for a woman like her? "Um. A bourbon on the rocks and a... a apple martini please." He smiled nervously to the bartender.

Once they had a moment, waiting for their drinks to be prepared, he shifted his hands in his pockets as he slid onto a stool. "Do ah... do you want to see a trick?"

Melvin Wood did not go to meetings. He didn’t socialize, and he didn’t rub elbows with any of Harrison’s associates. He was, for express purposes both for safety and at the man’s own request, kept away. One tended to be paranoid when you were hunted for your craft, and he hadn’t been right in the head since he left those jungles. However, for whatever reason, the Bossman had given him a chance, and was rewarded by one of the best drug cooks in the world – or so Melvin boosted. His improvements to Royal Blue had certainly spoke for itself.

It had been a risky gamble to let a man running from oversea drug lords into your company, but Harrison had let Melvin into his company, let him show him what he had learned, and gave in return for his work. No one would have thought that a man, born from a normal family, studying overseas in medicine, would find himself here. Melvin certainly didn’t, but he was allowed protection, his guard Saliva was given her green card, and Melvin got what he wanted. A place to hide – which he did at every moment. He kept to his labs, let Saliva handle how to distribute Royal blue to the dealers who then passed it down to their smaller carriers, and never handled anything that would show his name or face. Saliva and the Boss’ own power handled that, giving him the luxury to stay shut in, pumping out the finest product on the street, and let him live.

The matter had to be grave for Melvin’s own phone to ring, something that had been pressed upon him and forced to keep though his name wasn’t tied to it. In the meeting, he sat in the back, curled into a large, blue hoodie and wearing tinted glasses, jumping whenever someone drew to near and scooting his chair closer to Saliva. The woman, a curvy figure plump with muscle, barely fluttered an eye, not bothering to take off her baseball cap and instead fixing the many bracelets on her arm before checking her blue nails. “Long talkers. These.” She huffed and looked over as Melvin clung to her arm and looked over as a white tiger passed down the aisle. “You remember it. It won’t hurt ya.”

“You say. I’ve seen em before. Eats whole men up.” He then stood up. “I’ll talk, then we run. We go back home.” He told her, and she rose with him. Leading the way, Melvin followed, hands curled about himself as he headed up to the Boss and his little gathering.

Once space was given, he stepped around Saliva and moved right up the throne. Giving a curt nod, he moved to the side and – started to whisper in the man’s ears, all the while looking around. There were eyes and ears everywhere, and he wasn’t about to be recorded or lip read or anything.
“Melvin Wood. I make Royal Blue for you. You know I’ve always given you the best, and while I work in the labs, I’ve seen how ruthless bosses can be. I can’t fight, but I can tell you things. I mean, only if you really need me.” He didn’t seem too thrilled to hold a weapon though. “To keep you safe.” He then stepped back, wiping his hands on his pant-legs before moving away. He needed cover.

Saliva came close and took his arm, moving him past the line that was forming to talk to the Boss and to the table.

“I thought we were leaving?”

“He’ll have more to say. Just stay by me and then we’ll leave when he says we can. Here. They have bottled water here.” She handed his a bottle.

What Sammy had to say seemed to sate something in the red haired man, his smirk broadened, right back to his canines, an amused glint in his eyes. "Aye I'm loaded. No just loaded. <********> loaded." He held up a hand with rings on every finger, expensive blue gems set in every single one bar his ring finger which had a tri-coloured band with no adornments whatsoever.

Tracey came back and stood patiently, her lips set in a thin line at how close Rep was getting, it wasn't jealousy, it was concern.

"So you know me" he crooned and it was hard to tell if it was sarcasm or not. "But I don't know you."

The tiger watched her, tail flicking, ears perked. It looked like a housecat someone had just said "tuna" around.

"So tell me." he said, tracing a finger across her shoulder distantly. "Who the ******** are you?"

It seemed like a dangerous game, talking to Rep like this. On one hand the wrong word could set him off and that would not bode well for her, the wrong word again could turn Harrison on her; once more not good for herself. Still she never backed down from a job, or any other challenge and this was no different deep down, the same game, just a slightly different set of rules.

"I can't say I have that much wealth, even if I did I prefer... other toys." She shifted ever so slightly letting the silver metal of the pistol strapped to her side flicker in Rep's eye. "Never mind they help me make my living around here."

She stood up a bit straighter letting her trench coat fall back into place loose around her figure and easily working to hide the weapons she carried for those she didn't want to see them, the same grin like Rep's own as she held our her hands to both sides.

"Samantha Lee. I work for the highest bidder and here in this kingdom, that would be the Boss. When he want's someone removed, I remove them. Quietly." She paused for a moment before shrugging, "Usually, someones a point has to be made after all."

With how closely she was observing Jerry it was impossible to miss the way he checked her out. She pretended not to notice, simply releasing the man and putting a hand on his shoulder to use him as support so she could easily get onto a stool beside him. She then toyed with her necklace, twirling it around the fingers of one hand while she also drummed manicured nails against the countertop in quiet succession. While Jerry was distracted by the bartender she looked to see if anyone else had approached Harrison. Someone was close to him, speaking in his ear and acting shadier than the dealers that sold bad batches of Royal Blue. Who..

"A trick?" Candace actually looked somewhat nervous at first. Tricks with Jerry often involved fire. Or awkward things. Their drinks were set down on the bar in front of them and she paused, seriously considering which drink she wanted. The strong one or the fruity one. It was a tough decision.

...She'd let the man have a strong drink. Candace picked the martini. She was simply being polite. "I suppose it wouldn't hurt. What are you going to show me?" Candace asked with a smile, sipping her martini and silently praying nothing uncomfortable was about to happen.

Rep paid the most intense sort of attention to Sammy's every word, letting his gaze skip to whatever she tried to bring his attention to. Saying nothing until she offered her summation of herself. When she mentioned the phrase "highest bidder" it was like someone had turned down a dial in him, his interest fading in an instant. He withdrew his hand from her with a curl of his lip.

"So you are a mercenary." he said, and managed to put the same inflection on the word as other people might put on the word vermin.

"Well I suppose everyone has to make a living. Have you tried prostitution? I hear it has some interesting toys aswell." He turned away from her, back to the buffet and got himself another Twinkie, handing it to Tracey to unwrap, which she did with a long suffering sigh.

It was only on the way back to the bar when Riyo realized the large and in charge cat in the room.

Truth be told, she had never seen a tiger in person before. Well, not that she could remember, at least. The woman didn't let her feet stop, trying to act casual as she sat her glass back on the bar top. What she could not control, however, was her stare. Truly, it was a creature of magnificence. The fact that it was owned by a loud ginger hadn't even registered yet. The tiger commanded respect, gained envy with it's stunning coat, and was just begging to be petted.

For a short moment, she wanted nothing more in life than to do just that. Her eyes might've even sparkled a little. The fear that it might try to attack her was of no concern. Riyo didn't fear cats. Of any size, really. It probably came with the territory of being able to shapeshift into one.

Those thoughts were quickly sobered, however. Ironically by the sound of wine trickling into her glass. What a lovely sound it was. She broke her gaze from the large beast and grabbed her drink, deciding to instead watch the other schmucks go about their meaningless existence. Some flirting here, some bitches there, and one raggedy Andy who was practically an attention whore in those street clothes. What good company Harrison seemed to keep. Time for slots? Time for slots.

It was not uncommon for a Janitor to carry steel wool, but keeping it in his pocket was a little odd. But not as odd as it could have been. He pushed his glasses up his nose as he showed her the simple small brick of wire. "When you light steel wool, it oxidizes quickly-" He tugged at it until he pulled off a chunk, spreading it out until it was fluffed. "So when you light it..." He flicked his Zippo open, dancing the flame under the wool until the ends of each tiny strand of wire burst into a dancing display of bright light- in the dimness of the bar, it was like a tiny fireworks display in his hand, sending little sparks bouncing across the bartop.

"HEY!" The bartender snarled, "Watch that by the open liquor!"

Saliva had moved to the buffet table, picking a plate and loading it up with this and that. As she did, she kept her eye on Melvin, who was looking about and holding his unopened bottle of water to his chest. Ignoring him, she continued to pick things out, before looking over at the Tiger. It reminded her of her home and the old stories. She wondered if they fed it fat on sirloin or on enemies. It looked a bit plump.

“I wonder where he got it.” She asked Melvin, who was staring at the tiger.
“What does it matter? One corner of hell or another, it can still eat a man’s throat.” He whispered, and Saliva tossed a shrimp towards it to see if it would eat it. It’s owner seemed distracted at least.

“Don’t FEED it.” Melvin hissed.

“Better you give it a finger?” Saliva said with a smile, her accent smooth and mixed with a slanged English she picked up from the streets. “You should eat.”

“Nothing is covered or wrapped.” He pointed to the open trays.

“It’s a buffet.” She said, adding more food to her plate.

“Easier to drug.” He informed as he stared at the food as if it was poisoned. To him, it was.

“Drugging a meeting like this? That would be war.” Saliva said and popped a piece of lobster in her mouth.

The way he seemed to fall back, the interest fading away and the title he gave her only made her smirk take a grim turn as her violet eyes narrowed at the man before her.

"That's a very broad term, a mercenary is someone with a gun, a scrap of cash, and half a brain to figure out how to use it. A dime a dozen with no skills but the bare minimum to get by." She watched him turn away from her letting the just the slightest look if disapproval cross her face as he moved for the twinki's once more, and the line of being a prostitute.

She moved to join Rep at the table none the less, "You don't send a mercenary to kill a threat to your power. You don't send them to kill another King or their Queen. You send the Mercenary to the front door to cause a mess while you send someone else to do the job proper."

She reached over taking a Twinki herself before flicking her wrist, a knife slipping into her hand to cut the treat's bag open before flipping the blade around to offer to Tracey. (It would be a shame to damage such lovely nails)

"You send me."

Massacre was having fun at the very least, the spoiled tiger noting someone staring at it, and eyeing Riyo with a slow blink. Most people were ignoring him, which was fine. Rep ignored the affectionate headbutt at his calf, too busy speaking to the potential snack. There was a moment of wide eyed distraction as Jerry lit the steel wool, the big cat snarling loudly in his direction.

Rep started and glanced over at Jerry with irritation. That ******** idiot. He was going to set the place alight, all for what looked like Candace's attention.

He took a lazy few moments to even look back to Sammy, his attention span short and flighty when there was no perceived gain for him. "You think pretty ******** highly of yourself don't you?"

Mass picked up the delicious shrimp offering and scarfed it in a way not befitting a noble feline while Tracey took the knife and whipped open the twinkie, handing it back to Rep.

His smile turned nasty, and there was something high school b***h about the way he purred. "No honey, he sends me."
