"Sure Commander." Dakota grinned as he gave a nod of his head, going about to straighten his clothes in a more uniform manner. Of course he didn't pay much attention to the male volunteers, frowning only as the pirate looking dude volunteered for the same position as he did. To be honest though, no matter how the cards played out, Dakota would at least be an officer in the war.

He perked up at the sight of Ami and immediately wrote her off. A fish out of the water, ugh. Nothing he hated more then a water species. They really knew how to put the damp on fun.

Dakota waited until he saw one of his lovers attack the fish girl before grinning. Madeline Blanche. B-e-a-utiful little specimen with a temper AND passion that made the nightly activities they indulge in just a bit more intense.

Now she was a good way to fan that flame. "Madeline, Madeline. Your making me jealous with your obvious affection for the Cetid.." He gave the Asterion a coy smile, reaching out to tug on her ponytail. "Some would think you have lost the taste for fire?" Leave it to a Livius to rely on fire comments. Fire all day.

It was interesting to see the commander move through the crowd and interact with everyone on a one on one basics. But what Poke didn't expect was for him to stop in front of her. For a moment she appeared dumbfounded (because the boss of the ship was talking to her holy wat), but when his words sunk in and she beamed. "Thank you sir! I will strive to not disappoint." Then her dumbfounded look returned when he asked her about her weakness. To her, defense and strategy were not so important and she had not given them much thought. Recklessnesses was her way; to rush in and throw her fists or her weapons about without heed of anything else.

"Ahh...usually my plans go along the lines of 'Go in, go fast, and go hard', and overpower them before they get to me...." She began to think. What would she do about it?

"I guess I'll have to think before I run in to hit something."

Yes, this a brilliant mind of work here.

The surgeon slid off of Ami and turned back to Wilson, regarding him for a long moment before her lips quirked up into a small smile. "Should I really be the one to answer that for you?" She stepped back towards him, though her fingers were now curled around Ami's arm, whether she wanted the surgeon attached to her or not. She smiled at him, her white teeth showing against the luscious red of her lips.

"If I were to be bold," She started carefully, her eyes flickering to Wilson with upmost certainty, "I would recommend myself as a First Lieutenant. Like I said, my strength isn't just medical, nor is it just physical." She shook out her ponytail and straightened herself. Usually Madeline slouched or leaned on others, but standing tall, she made herself almost impressive. Almost. "But again, commander, I'll be whatever you want me to be. And please - " She gestured at Wilson with a small grin. "Call me Madeline. Miss Blanche makes me sound like I'm ancient."

Her attention rifted back to Ami, but someone else seemed to have other ideas for her. The tug on her ponytail made her turn her head, scrutinizing Dakota with a coy little grin. "Mistah Rainstar." She teased Ami's arm with a gentle squeeze before letting go to turn fully to the man. "Somehow I doubt your jealousy will be long-lived, with all of those - " She reached out, teasingly straightening his rumpled clothing. "Women lining up to jump into bed with you." She grinned at him, but her lips curved possessively, her eyes shining like a cats. "I get bored with little embers, sweet thing." Her finger followed a trail up the center of Dakota's throat, and then she gripped his chin and leaned in, kiss-close to his face. "I haven't seen a true flame in you for awhile, and I'm only attracted to fires that burn bright and strong. I haven't lost my taste in fire." She leaned back, letting go and grinning smoothly at him. "But have you lost your spark?"

The blond Orychanian had been adjusting his bracers, the series of small winking lights along his wrist shining orange blue and green in time with his pulse...finely calibrated to alert him to his surroundings, as well as incoming hazards or bulletins, a weapon in and of itself. Lucky thing he'd just finished as well, he mused, as he no longer had time for such a delicate process. His lips thinned into a thin, disapproving line as the spines along his shoulders and spine flicked up and then down again to mirror the young male's emotions. "Another day, another moderate disaster..." He mused, taking a languid breath in as he pushed mussed strands out of his face.

Mechanical tidbits that were unrelated to weaponry really weren't his expertise, but even he could do something as simple as a calibration or repairing a damaged circuit. Heh. Otherwise he'd be knee-deep in dysfunctional hoverboards now. Speaking of...

Pulling tight the last strap on his nearly skin-tight black and white ensemble, he nudged the piece of technology in question with his toe, and it slid off the wall and onto the ground, the controls humming to life as he brushed over an unseen remote with the pad of his thumb, fingerless gloves hiding yet another intricate circuit. Carefully he stepped onto the black whorls that covered the board's white surface, the hoverboard, much like his clothing, had been patterned after the Orychanian's 'natural' markings, a twisting, almost vine-like set of markings, though bereft of the startling green orbs that covered the crew member's obvious racial traits.

Orychanians, after all, were shapeshifters....changelings they had been called by other races. Two factions, subspecies rather, had been embroiled in a brutal civil war on Sharra's home planet for centuries, the very root of the conflict was, in perfect honesty, the argument betwixt having tentacles or a startling and spine-filled lack thereof. The spirited crew member was one of the latter, his own set of almost needle-like quills seeming to be a part of his attire, standing in vivid contrast to the pure white of his strap-laden attire. They ran all the way down his spine, growing from the nape of his neck to cap shoulders like pauldrons. He was, after all... a warrior bred from birth for a war that had been started before his conception.

He was damnedly pleased that he'd ended up here instead. A far better purpose to serve, in his opinion, than such a baseless struggle.

Skimming along the corridors to the fourth floor, Sharra almost instantly dismissed his hoverboard, recognizing the serious atmosphere that had chilled the room like the passing of a ghost. The Orychanian had a distinct respect for their Commander, the fellow had done his best by the lot of them, not the easiest of tasks considering the rather formidable list of responsibilities involved.

Or decisions.

Especially the decisions.

Clawed hands curled into a fist as the Voice's demands were explained, and once more Sharra was almost deliriously relieved that he was not the one who had to bear the weight of the entire ship and its well-being on his shoulders. Duty, however, called, and never in a thousand years would he be the one to back down from such a summons. He did not even glance around at the others assembled - half afraid that those present might cause his resolve to waver - as he stepped forward, the glowing line along his wrist running laps 'round the bracer as a thread of adrenaline spurred the beating of his heart.

He'd known from the moment the announcement had begun that he would rise to the challenge...ever one to spurn the odds. Perhaps that was why Wilson's words incited such unflagging tenacity within the young man.

"Sir!" It came with a salute, a grim determination set in his features, "Sharra Eldwaithe, Orychanian. Suffice to say we do one thing, and we do it well." He sucked in a breath sharply, almost unconsciously straightening to ensure he was standing at his full height, as though everything that he was and ever had been was now under scrutiny, a test of his mettle. "We fight. I've proficiency in a variety of weapons and methods of combat. If you can use me, I'd be proud to represent us." There was a steely conviction thrumming beneath the statement. He felt that the presentation stood on its own. Sheer simplicity and an unabashed determination would be enough.

Sharra would let fate and their revered commander decide the rest.

The Av'i was busy lazing on the top deck, counting the stars and constellations. Vanya was quite a ways from home and though she hadn't intended on returning anytime soon, she was not enjoying the option to do so being taken away from her. A breeze blew past, ruffling glowing feathers and sending a few loose ones floating into the distance. The light blinked out a few seconds after leaving her body; no life force to supply the energy. A trait that was a good thing; she could imagine the feathers fetching a hefty price on the black market if they didn't go out. The last thing she wanted was a bunch of bounty hunters and mercs after her, trying to pluck her. Partially because it would be tiresome and partially because she hated the clean up that followed her.. disposal of the pests.

The announcement was almost not heard; she was far too lost in her own thoughts. She caught pieces and it wasn't until she put them together a few moments later that she realised what it was. She stood, bird-like feet propping up a slender body occasionally covered in patches of bioluminous scales and feathers. Her arms were covered in longer feathers used for flight should she need it. Besides a pair of undergarments, she wore no other clothing. Instead, her body was draped with golden jewelry, most containing bells that jingled as she made her way to the fourth floor. Her chest area was covered by blue hair that hung over her shoulders. However, should a gust of wind go past or she flick her hair, well..

Vanya arrived a little later than she was supposed to. She caught the middle and end of the address - which was pretty much all the information she needed. Corporals, lieutenants and sergeants? Military titles she'd come to be familiar with. It appeared a war was starting. Now she had to make a choice. She watched as others volunteer for the roles. Would she join them or would she stay on the sidelines, only helping when it was necessary. Did she have the strength and skills necessary to be in such a role? Was it something she could picture herself taking part in? Her physical strength was something she didn't question. It was there; years and years of training made sure. But mental strength.. Would she be able to stand up and make the tough decisions that needed to be made?

A selfish part of her wanted to test herself and she hated that part. Testing ones self was all fine and dandy but lives were at stake here. It wasn't a silly game. It was life or death of everyone. It was the kingdom. She shifted her weight, leaning to the side a little and she unconsciously chewed on her lower lip. There was no way to tell if she would do well or not. There was no way to tell if she'd make mistakes in any role she was given. The only way to know for sure was to take a chance. A stupid one; but one she would learn from. Hopefully without the cost of lives and the kingdom.

And so she stepped forward, raising a hand. "I volunteer," her voice was loud and sing-song like a the same time. Almost as if a bird was echoing her with only a split second delay. It was something that sometimes bothered Vanya. Occasionally, in times of great emotions she may or may not be inclined to chirp. Or squawk. Or trill. This was one of those moments and she ended her sentence with a chirp.

Before continuing, she took a few deep breaths to try and still her beating heart. "Av'i are a race of proud warriors. From birth we are taught to fight and survive on our own. Those who do not posses the strength to do so die. Simple as that. The fact that I am here today is evidence of my strength alone," sharp talons scratched on the floor and she continued her speech. "I know no fear. I've faced it all. Let me show you the strength of the Av'i." Pride welled in her voice and her feathers puffed up, ruffling. Her speech was ended with a trill, musical and perfect; a sound she rarely made.

It was a big risk she was taking and she was mentally preparing herself for denial that she would understand if it came. It was hard to bet your kingdom on someone who only had their word to give; especially when you didn't know them. But she would still fight for the kingdom. If it was lost she would have no hope of returning home.

Having been in the middle of getting information from one voluptuous woman, the Ganerie's fingers danced upon her bare skin, her top sliding down over a shoulder with ease. Her breaths came in short bursts as she fought to keep her composure, failing at it with each second that passed by.

His lips grazed lightly over the skin of her neck before the intercom buzzed.

"All crewmembers, please report to the fourth floor for a meeting."

Curse it. With a sigh, he withdrew, fingers lingering just a moment longer as he gave the woman a smile.

"Oi'll be bek," Came the love talker's voice, giving a wink as he slung his jacket over a shoulder, running for the area they were to report to.

He'd always been an orphan, finding this ship at a young age and instantly finding a best friend in Sharra. As the alien race Ganerie, which were well known but very few in number, his presence on board was widely welcomed and many thought to put use to him where they wanted to.

Marosa had danced out of finger's reach every single time, content in playing his own game. He had no home to call his own other than the ship, and as far as he knew, he was the only one of his race. Others seemed to know of him and his abilities, but himself? He was the only one of him he had!

Sporting a cheeky grin as he cut someone off, the Ganerie gave a sympathetic wave of apology as he rushed to the fourth floor, stopping just in time to hear the King's speech.

Ah, the Voice. He tilted his head, glancing around and spotting Sharra. So he was representing. Well, he'd do the same. Reaching up to flick Sharra's ear, skin to skin contact, Marosa gave the other a dark grin before he too, spoke up.

"Oi'm Marosa Feyrath, sir. Ganerie, which'un ye moi be familer wif." Giving a nod of respect, the Ganerie moved to put on his jacket. "Oi've been on dis ship fer a wee bit now, an' oi tink oi migh' be some 'elp." He tapped his lips thoughtfully, thinking about what he'd actually brought to the table. Information. He was very good at retrieving that.

He was also good at evening the odds when they were odd.

"Oi'd be a wee bit int'rested en first lieutenant, or sergeant, if'n ye please. Oi'm good at gettin' infermation, as ye might well know." He gave a wink to the King, and decided to wait for an answer before continuing.

[[ You are free to respond/answer whatever question Wilson asks or simply ollie out. 'v' ]]

He could sense Mitsu’s confusion. Wilson smiled apologetically. “Pardon the lack of clarity. Some species need to learn to control their other side. While I’ve traveled to many places and know many races, it’s difficult to keep track of them all in here.” He tapped his skull with his finger. The commander eyed her ears. “Would you care to tell of how your abilities helped another?”

“Gallinium? That must have been quite the sum.” A low whistle of admiration for Roch. “Be careful with that stuff. That’s pretty precious cargo.” As Wilson kept his arms crossed, he cocked his head thoughtfully. “What would you suggest is the best way to go about this war?”

“Well, now you look like a million bucks,” he complimented Dakota. “Do remember that appearance is everything for an occasion like this.” Then Wilson knitted his brows together at the interaction between the three of them. He was open to relationships between crew members, but a little context or background information would’ve been helpful. The commander knitted his brows together while severely scrutinizing all three of them. “Do I want to know what’s going on here?” he murmured doubtfully. Wilson stepped backwards cautiously.

He eyed Pokerus skeptically. "And how often does that plan of yours work out?" Wilson was all for strength, but not having a strategy truly worried him. "Maybe you can showcase your strength to me instead?"

He immediately saluted Sharra back. “Officer.” A minor quirk of his lips. Everyone here was an officer, but only time would tell who would be promoted even further. “Offering yourself up for 1st lieutenant, I presume?” Wilson took a step back to examine the officer further. “I’ve vaguely heard of the Orychanians. They’re in a war was it? A civil war? Tell me why you chose to flee in your planet’s time of need and tell me what weapons you find yourself the most proficient in.”

There was another exclamation, similar to Dakota’s, only this time it was more musical and pleasing to the ears. He turned toward Vanya. His eyes grew a smidge wider when he took in her lack of clothing, but at least she was wearing something. However, Wilson really would’ve preferred a bit more covering. “Proud and musical, I wonder,” he mused quietly. “Quite a Spartan lifestyle, but definitely a testament to your skills.” He agreed with a small nod. Wilson considered the woman before inquiring, “You say you have no fear, but do you actually believe that to be true? Fear is a natural emotion, a force for good or bad. And perhaps you could show me a skill or two you’ve learned as an Av’i. Actions speak louder than words, after all.”

Another voice broke his train of thought, only this voice was difficult for him to grasp at first. It was an accent he wasn’t used to. “Yes?” Wilson pressed his lips together as he fought to dig up information on the species. “A snippet or two, but I’m far from being a Ganerie expert.” As charming as the other lad was, he was hoping for more details. “Would you care to enlighten me?” He crossed his arms and expectantly looked at Marosa.

"Oi'd be pleased tae." Marosa replied, bowing deeply. He had to think about it for a moment, as he was still learning about himself, as well! "Ganerie are known best as Love Talkers." He gave a wink to Sharra as he stood up again, before continuing on. "Our touch can best even the strongest of men and make them infatuated with us. Anything to our bidding." The Ganerie's smile faded somewhat; he had never actually taken it that far, but he had known some people to pine after him for a bit.

It was a good thing it didn't last all that long.

"I am best at retrieving information this way, if you deem it so, my King."

For the most part, Poke appeared confident. "It's rare that I've been taken out as a result. Though I wont say it's never happened." There were plenty of times she had come out the worse for wear, but it wasn't long before she was back up and fighting once more. Though she felt that whatever she was fighting now, would be vastly different to the scrapes with unintelligent alien life forms on distant planets.

When the question to reveal her strengths to him was asked, she thought for a moment as she looked around at the crowd. Perhaps there was something large and heavy she could lift, like a hover bike, but then that was pretty literal. Nor did she have any weapons on hand to demonstrate what she could do with them. Plus there were others here that were fighters themselves; not far away a Av'i was volunteering their skills, as well as a Orychanian doing the same. Both appeared strong, and even had more knowledge in weaponry by the sounds of things. If she was to show the commander what she could do, it would be necessary to show him all her strengths.

"Sure thing..." Pokerus took a few steps back, looking around and hoping she wasn't about to hurt anyone (or get busted for this). Then she focused her mind. She had heard the one called Mitsu talk about a second form, but had made no mention of her own. Until now that was.

Her hands were the first to change, blue scales growing up her arm and along her body as her form began to grow larger. Her face extended outwards, teeth growing larger and more wicked as did the claws on her hands and feet. In no less then five seconds, the humanoid form was transformed into a large reptilian beast.

Sitting down on her haunches, her head swiveled around trying to make sure she hadn't accidentally sat on anyone (or any robots, s**t the amount of times that has happened...), before she looked back to the commander.

"...here you go?" She replied, appearing to still have vocal cords. Thankfully her form was not gargantuan, and in fact she was barely bigger then a large horse. But with the large claws, serrated teeth and thick horns, it wasn't hard to see why she didn't feel the need to strategize.

But there were plenty of people around, and she was prepared to hears the magic words 'WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING YOU'RE GOING TO KNOCK OVER SOMEONE'. Or even better, "OH GOD HELP THAT THING IS GOING TO EAT ME KILL IT WITH FIRE."

Sharra's expression shifted subtly as Marosa's fingertips made contact with his ear, something akin to a twitch as he then shot the Ganerie a scolding look, clicking his tongue in reprimand, though there was no real force behind the expression. Even the brush of skin brought forth the buried fluctuations of desire that lay hidden in the blond's core. He had known the redhead long enough to understand that the impishness, the flirting, the 'hit and run' games that he oft played were simply part of his nature, at least where the Orychanian was concerned. Sharra was lucky...he supposed, that he didn't garner the full brunt of the other's 'attentions', though over the years his long-time friend's effect on him had dulled somewhat. Somewhat being a rather fickle term.

Some days it was far worse than others.

Besides, he had more important things to address. "That I am." His response was unflinching, even as the commander inferred things less than pleasant concerning his character, and more importantly, his courage. "There is indeed a civil war, a war that certainly predates the both of us. Suffice to say leaving was not originally my choice. I've no idea why my parents decided to migrate from Orychania, I was a touch young at the time. But otherwise I have not ended up here. I'm a touch displaced, Sir." A faint smile brushed his lips, "And besides, this is my home, and the crew my family. I'd not have volunteered otherwise. What needs be done needs a willing warrior, am I right?"

His gaze slid over to Marosa, lips pursing faintly in fond, familiar annoyance. "Though the Love Taker here is a most useful rogue, I've found." A teasing lilt said more than enough about his friendship with the Ganerie, a bond forged in childhood.

"But as to weapons." Instantly all business again, he pulled out his PDA, pulling up a small holographic projection for his superior to view. "Any of the BlastBlade weapons, martial or otherwise, everything in the Sezyar family up to the 54-BY models, anything from the Vortex, Kyrigan, or Rengyde lines and all close-combat weapons manufactured on Orychania. In addition..." He held up his hand, pausing from the veritable slide-show of his favorites, and slowly the youth's fingers grew into acidic claws, their composition almost gauntlet-like. "...I've these as well. Whatever gets the job done."

So he liked a good scrap. It wasn't anything to be ashamed of. If a boy's going to fight, he ought to have the proper weapons...but he'd fight to the end with his bare hands if his Commander willed it thus.

"How unfortunate," Came a seemingly bored voice from the doorway, where a blonde haired and brownish gold eyed figure watched the others with mild interest. "the rare Wilson speech and I miss it. Lucky for me, we have a vast knowledge of technology and I was able to catch it through a live feed." He tapped his arm lightly, ending the holographic image.

Unlike the rest, Ryan hadn't arrived on time. Probably because he hadn't opted on taking any mode of transportation other than his own two feet and given that he had been at the lowest depths of the damned ship when the announcement sounded.. well, suffice it to say, he was lucky he had even managed to reach the fourth floor when he had. Which apparently was just in time for pleasantries and the offering of themselves as tribute. Fun.

"I don't suppose I can skip the whole process of introductions, can I? Unless you forgot who I am..." He gave Wilson a suspicious look. Ryan wasn't one for getting into what he was and was not capable of. Truth be told, he didn't care and while he excelled at certain things, he preferred to think of them as hobbies. After all, living on a docked--or crashed, rather--ship for this long, there wasn't any other way he could view it. As for his race, there wasn't much to tell. As far as they knew was that he nothing more than someone who came from a nomadic race that lived off of other planets. A race that had spread themselves so thin that it wasn't often you came across them, if ever.

"I'm sure you already know it, but in case you have doubts, I'll say it again. You have my services. I'll help in any way I can. Besides, we survived driving ourselves into this planet, luck seems to with us." Of course, that was ignoring the fact that they had been shot and crashed in the first place.

Roch raised an eyebrow--the insert over it raising slightly as well. "Sir, if y'trust a mechanic with somethin' like this, I would say the easiest way is t'infiltrate, take out communications, and block relations between possible allies," he said, digging through his pockets idly.

"It depends on how much tech the other kingdom has, how well I could do it, myself--but that lover boy over there might be useful in the less tech-happy places," he said, pointing at Marosa. "Or that one... or hell, even that one," he said, pointing at Dakota and Mads at turns.

"Once you get them blocked from the outside kingdoms--if they ain't already done it, themselves, you can head in--best chance is gettin' them t'turn on themselves, if possible. There's also the idea of a... temporary allegiance with another kingdom, until some of the others have been taken care of--it's all pretty standard from where I come from." Pirate. He was SUCH a pirate. Every person on the ship would probably realize that they'd been living several floors above a man that had complete and utter access to their ship--and a history of pirating.

Then he shrugged. "I'll do what you need me to do, Captain," he said simply. But it was said SO simply that it implied he COULD do anything the captain needed him to do. There was a big difference between offering and being able to.

"Maybe if I get a raise I can get a new batch of gallinium once we hit civi again," he added. "I heard they're stabilizing the newest stuff so it can be carried in a can." Because, seriously, transporting the stuff was a bliznox.

A slender arm, clad in white microfiber rose from the masses, "Ssithernand'bixusss." His crimson, serpentine eyes scanned around him as he drew attention to himself and then with a smirk clarified his name. "Ah.. Bix, at your ssservice sir." Bix was a young man who looked almost human but not quite enough. His serpentine race were from a jungle world, not far from Coatl, and even among them he was an oddity. Almost all species in the 'verse had occurences of albinism and Bix had the pleasure of being one of them. His normally colorful species, deep green scales skin and brilliantly hued feathered hair, were spiritual people who worshipped the heavens. Bix was revered by some and considered to be too odd for others but thankfully theirs were a people who valued the right of the individual above all other things. They were accomplished hunters and tacticians, relying on speed and skill instead of strength. Their planet had never been conquered and instead skillful negotiations, bartering, and the brief occasion subterfuge and assassination had helped to keep them safe in the grand machinations of the universe.

"I am not as young as some who have stepped up." His eyes locked on the Commander again. He wasn't exactly old but he had the tempered enthusiasm that came with just a few more years of life. Perhaps it was his own fondness for knowledge, books and study that gave him a bit more of a level head but his calm demeanor only hid the pickup of his pulse as he felt others eyes on him. "But age before beauty, yea?" He of course, was kidding, his thin lips slipping into an easy smirk.

The serpentine man ran a hand through his white hair, a strange mix between hair and feathers. The name of his people was not worth mentioning since most wouldn't be able to pronounce it. His pale skin shimmered with opalescent scales, offset by the tastefully embroidered tunic he wore. The only feature of note, besides the serpentine aspects, were the small set of white feathered wings behind his ears. They were small and decorative and did nothing but show status on his planet. "I'd like to offer my services to you, Commander, and tactical specialization. What I may not have in strength I make up for with speed, skill and my mind." His hand dropped to tap the collapsible energy bow strapped to his thigh. It lit when his fingers touched it but would remain there until he expanded it for use.

"You and I have met before, in passing." His acknowledging smile revealed thin fangs. "But I have spent much of my time here in the gathering of knowledge. Collecting information shared by the many races. Studying whats been offered of their knowledge and strategy. As a bowman I am capable of defense and offense in an equal amount but the true mastery of hunting is strategy itself." Bix's head bowed in respect again, his ear-wings folding back. "I believe myself most fit for Sergeant, if you should have me."

In all honesty Bix was not as serious as it seemed but he could be a bit of a suckup when it came to those of authority. He was good at following orders and while preferring to lead in some capacity, did well not to be the 'top dog' as they said.

"I suppose a truer statement would be to say I do not fear battle. Or death. Or wounds," she explained, claws tapping on her thigh. "I do, however, fear letting people down. I fear not being able to go home. I fear becoming a slave. Our pride is our life, we're told. We must protect it and I fear losing it to those who wish to see us fall beneath their feet." She spoke the truth. She didn't want to admit it but sometimes that was what needed to be done. Her skin crawled and it felt as if she'd revealed her biggest weakness, even though the Commander didn't seem to think of it as such. It wasn't as easy for her; she'd been raised to believe any fear was a weakness. But perhaps he was right. Perhaps it could be a good force.

Show off some of her skills, hm? Vanya wasn't quite sure what the Commander wanted to see. It was hard to do without someone to attack and she didn't exactly have a desire to attack what were to become her comrades in battle. There was only one thing she could really attack and while she felt bad about it.. it was already.. broken. "Very well," was all she said before she closed her eyes, blocking everything else out. The claws on her hands grew in length to about ten inches, razor sharp. Her body tensed for a split second and she pushed herself into the air; gone from the place she was in a flash.

The wall of the ship was her target and her claws met it and slid through the metal as if it were paper. The cuts were clean and she pushed off with her legs, flipping through the air and soaring to the next wall which met the same fate. Back and forth she went each time, her moves graceful and elegant. It was almost like a dance. A deadly, destructive dance but something that was still beautiful to watch. The whole thing lasted only a few seconds and when she was done she landed in a kneel in front of the commander and adjusted her hair to cover her bare chest once more, the speed having blown it behind her. Her claws retracted and she rose to stand. "I trust that was enough."

Zephyros fixes his collar while watching the other citizens hurriedly reply to the call of the commander. It was interesting to see the other races, he doesn't necessarily recognize them nor is he very educated in what they are. His eyes scanned the area and took in the information as he sees fit, and it seems as though he is not the only avain race. Zephyros grows slightly deflated, but he shakes this off and takes in a breath slowly. It was not a competition, no. It is a gathering of the strongest, yes. But the strongest where here to work together.

With a small click of his tongue, he turns around quickly and begins to walk away--- that is until he nearly walks into a smaller girl.( Amalia) "Oh, I apologize.. I didn't mean.. " his voice trails off as the girl speaks. He smiles in return to the this and nods. Holding out a hand, he moves to salute her with a small bow. "Why yes I am." His feathered ears twitch as he looks over the aquatic being. "Do you know my kind-- I am a Quetz.. A... sort of.." His brows furrow in frustration as he tries to figure out what to say. "A serpent with wings.." His arms lifts up to expose the feathers that trail from the appendage. "And what about you, if I may ask? " She was quite interesting . Being in his own planet, there were more avians than other species.

He then turns his attention to Wilson his face falling in response to their leader's comment. With a clear of his throat, he takes in a small breath and tries to appear confident as well. "Trust me that I will do better than I did when this unfortunate incident occurred. " His confident becomes more radiant as he speaks. "I cannot make any excuses for my failure, nor will I. A man does not live on these failure but grows from them. I have learned from my mistakes in the past, these scars on my body will prove to you this. " His tail twitches as he looks around at the other citizens. "I may not have healing capabilities, but I am strong. I will attack and defend at your word-- and I fight as hard as I can so we will not suffer any more than we already do. " His face grows into a soft poignant smile.
