Apolla didn't even wait for a command but instead opted to strengthen her defenses more. She whipped her tails about kicking up more ghostly wind to protect her. She had to dodge more stray electricity but she kept her eyes on her opponent.

Likewise, Hemera stayed as she was, continuing to boost her attack. She knew she wouldn't be able to stay like this for long, however.

Apolla about about to boost her defenses more but heard Alexa call out a different attack. She complied and whipped her tails at Hemera to lower her defenses.

Hemera was pushed back from the blow. With a light bare of fangs, she struck the field beneath and summoned more shards to strike her foe.

Apolla took the hit and fell down hard. She was quickly recalled.
Alexa again mentally curse as she recalled Apolla. Of course the Lucario would land a critical hit. She picked another pokeball and tossed it out. "Use Dig!" She called out.
Masked Socks appeared and immediately dug into the stadium flooring and tunneled around. She then popped up under the Lucario and attacked.

Hemera didn't have much time to retaliate. The Eevee disappeared underground before she could stop it, and before long she was hit. While the Eevee was close, she thrust a paw toward it, hoping to drain some of its energy.

Masked Socks didn't give Hemera a chance to hit her. She quickly disappeared back underground and tunneled away. She then turned around and quickly ran back down the tunnel and popped up like a Patrat and attacked.

Hemera was unable to hit again before the Eevee made its escape, and she drew back warily. Her steps were not muted underground, however, and the Eevee found its way to her.
Folding her ears low, she batted it with a Drain Punch once again.

Tartarus frowned when she was released next, her gaze following the retreating beam that recalled Hemera into her ball. She narrowed her eyes at the Eevee and was about to strike her down in revenge when a sharp voice commanded her to calm herself instead. Seething, she did her best to obey.

Socks was about to attack again but stopped when she heard the command. She growled playfully in an attempt to lower her opponent's attack.

Tartarus growled in annoyance. Although Genesis hadn't told her to stop, she shook out of the effects of the Calm Mind and aimed a few stones at the Eevee.

Socks ducked into one of her tunnels to avoid the rocks. She then stuck her head out and growled some more. She made sure to make it her cutest sounding growl.
