He grabbed the D ranked scroll for walking the dog and toss over Raiken's way. "Don't come crying to me if it starts decided to chew your leg's off!." He let another chuckle escape his lips as she sated down comfortably on his char.

The Raikage had tossed over a single scroll, in which consisted of Ikazu's 2nd mission. He caught the scroll and grasped it into his palms. "Voi! Then it's settled. I'm gonna make your mouth drop once i'm done with this!" The moneybag was also in the other hand. That flare still boomed in his irises. He wasn't going to fail this one. Grunts aside, the spiky blond stormed out of the building.
A long walk back to the office was relaxing. Being wrangled by that mutt was no better. The personal base of operations for the Raikage was right in front of him. He barely made it through the mission. Luckily, he held onto the leash at all times. Ikazu oddly liked the mission. It was challenging yet rambunctious as himself. He could only do it four times though. He'll do it later. It's time that he done a different mission. Raiken grasped the knob of the door. A scroll with a odd symbolism rested on the floor beside his foot. What was it? Maybe it was for the Raikage. A hand grappled onto the scroll for his eyes to take a better look at it. Red Clouds with black covering. That was odd. This looked really familiar. He couldn't put his finger on it. The Raikage could know. The genin tended his attention to entering the room. "Voi! Raikage-sama, I finished my mission. And uhh..I found this weird scroll on the way here. Found it near the door. Thought it might be yours." Raiken rested the scroll upon his desk. It's the message from the Akatsuki.
D-Rank Mission: [Dog Walking] (Completed) Objective: Take a local villager's large, scruffy dog out for a walk. You will have to unfortunately take them anywhere they desire, even if it's a place they choose to urinate or dephicate. In that case you will also have to clean up the waste for the sake of village hygiene.
This mission can be completed 3 times. Word count must be split into 5 different posts.

The Raikage look up to Raiken, returning from the mission, then down to the scroll that he putted on his table. Kinda strange with the symbol on it and being right outside of his door. "Good work, now that your finishes with the dog you can get some training done." He said calmly in his deep voice. He didn't pay much attention to the scroll, planing to have a look at it later. "The Chunnin exam will be coming soon just around the corner. I need you be spick and span, being ready for the test." He said to him, knowing the approaching of the test. "You are dismiss. Get into training."
The creeks and crackles of his knuckles were visible for the ear. Just as the Raikage mentioned the Chunnin Exams, he was all fired up. That flare in eyes wouldn't seize to extinguish! A balled fist lifted in his burning enthusiasm."Voi! Yes, sir." He casually walked out of the room, immediately venturing to the training grounds as we speak.
The Raikage's Office certainly left an impression on a shinobi. Situated in the tallest mountain of Kumogakure, the building had an impressive view of the surrounding village. Midoriko made her way inside, and once she was stopped by some ANBU, she explained her situation, wanting to become a resident and shinobi of Kumogakure. The two ANBU looked at each other, seeming unsure of if her intentions were pure. But sure enough, they caved, and allowed her to pass. She was a genin, and certainly not strong enough to harm the Raikage if that was why she was really there.
Midoriko stood outside of the doors to the office, remaining still. This was it. This was the beginning of her new life as a Kumo kunoichi. Taking a deep breath, began to practice for when she would meet the Raikage., Hitofuki sat near her as she began to practice for her meeting. "Hello, Lord Raikage. My name is Midoriko Nekonome, third child of the head of the Nekonome clan, Genin, and this my partner, HItofuki. We wish to become residents and ninja of Kumogakure, sir." Hoping for the best, Midoriko wondered if she would be able to stay. If they wouldn't have her, she could always try one of the other large villages.
"When is a croquet mallet like a billy club? I'll tell you... Whenever you want it to be."

Scarlet sharingan hues would set upon the genin as she came into his full view. His single tomoe made itself very well known as it set itself within the alluring red color of his orbs. Gazing upon the fairly attractive genin girl, Shinto would speak to her how he usually spoke to someone that bumped into his presence. "Who are you? One of the newer genin I'd assume..", The uchiha boy would speak as he continued to analyze the young female before him. She may have become an asset to him in the future or even an enemy for that matter.

The sound of a much younger voice than she expected came from the side, and she looked over to see a dark haired boy looking upon her. His eyes were a very familiar shade of red to the kunoichi, but that face....it was so...cute. She smiled, running a hand through her long ponytail and then cleared her throat. "Yes, I'm new to this village. I'm Midoriko, of the Nekonome clan. My father is the head of our clan back home, and I wished to be a part of one of the larger shinobi villages. Oh, and this little one here is Hitofuki!"
The bubbly air about Midoriko made the white tiger cub seem completely distant from the place it found itself. It looked at the Uchiha for a moment before turning its head away like it lost all interest, growling somewhat. "That's not very nice Hitofuki! You can't say stuff like that and then ignore the person!" Though it would seem odd to another person, the bond the Nekonome shared with their cats allowed them to speak their language.
Looking back to the Uchiha, Midoriko began to observe the boy as a whole. She looked upon his frame, his clothing, and then back to his eyes. She couldn't quite put her figure on it, but it seemed like something she was told about a long time back by her older brother. About a ninja he ran into on one of his missions. Soon though, she found herself looking at that face once again. She couldn't help it. It was such a nice face to look at.
"When is a croquet mallet like a billy club? I'll tell you... Whenever you want it to be."

Shinto scanned over the chakra flow of the two that stood before him. In his right hand he held a messenger bag filled with valuable items that his parents owned while they were still alive. The former Raikage had been looking over them until the young boy would grow old enough to take care of the items himself. Figuring he had reached an appropriate enough age, Shinto was doing just that. He already had lost so much in his life, it was only right for him to be the one looking over items that carry precious memories. Looking over to Midoriko and evaluating that she was of no threat, Shinto deactivated his one tomoe sharingan.
He would then respond to the girl accordingly. "My name is Shinto Uchiha. My mother and father were not from here, but the village they were from contained residents I'd rank worst than the scum of the shinobi world. Just don't regret your decision.", The thirteen year old would say to her, giving a brief introduction of himself to match hers. His tone of voice was blunt and straight forward. As usual he was putting up a wall to separate his emotions from his outward actions.

Midoriko watched s the eyes of the other changed, and then after he introduced himself, she connected the dots. "Ahh, that's why your eyes seemed familiar to me. My older brother ran into an Uchiha on one of his assignments. It's a pleasure to meet you, Shinto!" Midoriko smiled again, a face of innocence to someone she had just met. "My clan isn't as well known as yours, but we prefer it that way I suppose.." Thinking to herself, the kunoichi wondered if she should be talking about her family so openly.
Crouching down, to scratch behind Hitofuki's ears, Midoriko looked up to the Uchiha, still smiling. "You look around my age, Shinto. I'm twelve, and you?" Midoriko figured that some small talk would help break the ice some. It seemed the boy was somewhat reserved, but she had a feeling that he wanted to talk. Taking note of the bag, Midoriko figured that if it was something that Shinto wanted to share with her, that would be his choice.

Takiko arrived at the office on her own after stopping at home. She decided to let her husband and son get comfortable at home while preparing for the impending funeral of the past Raikage. Right now she was not up to taking the nostalgic tour around the office to further sadden up this already dreary day. That and she was very sure that there were people waiting for her in office to probably figure out what they were going to be doing about the funeral or village heads ready to speak to her about her new position. She made her way past office staff or other shinobi unsure whether to congratulate her on the new position or offer up condolences for the loss of someone she respected so greatly. Once she was up the stairs she noticed a sight that she quite frankly was not expecting to see. Two students dressed in their regular attire were awaiting her arrival at her new office door. Her eyes opened slightly, but she tilted the hat enough to cover up any expressions from her eyes. Without saying anything to the two, she made her way past them and opened up the office door. She signaled the two to come into the office behind her where they would be able to speak to her.
The office still had not been changed since the news of the Raikage's death went out amongst the villagers. She ran her hands along the desk feeling the smooth grainy texture against her finger tips while she made her way fully behind the desk. At least she started to speak not caring if they were in the room yet or not, "You know... I often think of myself as a patient woman, especially when it comes to the youth of this village," Takiko removed the hat and placed it down onto a pile of papers on the desk. Her closed fists rested on each side of the hat; her face and tone remained calm. "However, when shinobi show blatant disrespect for their elders I lose my patience rather quickly. Would you two care to explain why you are not in your funeral attire? Especially you young lady." By the end of her sentence her tone had shifted to a low and poison laced one.

Before Midoriko got an answer from Shinto, a person wearing the hat with the symbol of the Raikage appeared, and motioned for them to follow her into the office. The door closed behind her, and Midoriko tilted her head as the other began to speak. The words that were uttered last made Midoriko cringe a bit. The Raikage seemed to be upset that she wasn't wearing funeral attire, but why? Did someone important die?
Midoriko bowed, doing her best to show respect. "I apologize, Lady Raikage. I am not certain who has passed from this world, but they must have been very important to you." Rising back up, MIdoriko looked upon the Raikage with a solemn look. Hitofuki sat at her feet, eyeing the lady who no longer wore that hat. "My name is Midoriko Nekonome. I am new to Kumogakure. I came here to seek admittance to your village as a shinobi. I am genin rank, and I come from the main house of the Nekonome clan. This is my partner, Hitofuki. Our clan's kekkei genkai is known as Kumorineko Bakushin, which was used in our work as...assassins and mercenaries." Honesty in front of the Raikage would be best. If she was not welcome here, she would move on to the next village.

Shinto would respond quiet simply to the girl, taking note of the information she had willing given out to him about her clan. Was she really that naive and trusting of other people? "I am thirteen.-", Shinto would utter before the current Raikage appeared at the office to meet both of the genin. She spoke of a funeral attire they had failed to dress in. This confused the young Uchiha. He was not very up to date with the old man of a Raikage that had led the village for so long. Hell, he wasn't a big fan of him either..considering how his parents suffered in the hidden cloud village. Shinto would set his sight on Takiko. "Raikage-sama, you mean..old man Badal..is? ... How did it happen?", Shinto asked with a look of curiousity. Strangely enough, he was not bothered by the gloomy state of mind that a funeral or loss of a leader would usually put a villager in. Instead no hint of sorrow or pain could be seen in the Uchiha boy's expression. Death had very little affect on Shinto now-a-days, ever since he lost his mother.

The clack of her geta would usually drown amongst the rest of the crowd… but today? How drear… The spirits seemed to be low… everyone bore the look of sorrow in their eyes as she passed them in the streets. She too wanted to lament along side them in secrecy. She had always spoke ill of Kumogakure… but ever since her brother had paid a little visit just days ago… maybe her viewpoints had been distorted to some degree? Yuushiro yawned as she stepped into the raikage building. She was fully adorned in a white yukata, also appropriate for the tender time Kumogakure was going through... The injury she had sustained was aching badly for some reason. Tugging at the bandages that went up to her neck, she had dressed the shoulder wound too tightly and it was itchy. Everyone around her was clad in mostly black to mourn the loss of the old man… how tragic… Rounding the corner into the hall, Yuu stopped in front of the raikage’s door. She turned the knob as quietly as possible to not disturb the only woman she respected in the village who now occupied the space of the office...
Slipping in, the young kunoichi picked a wall to lean against- closing her eyes she waited patiently for the newly titled raikage to notice her. She had requested her presence… Yuushiro wondered what for… shouldn’t she be grieving and making preparations? The genin was unsure if she should congratulate Takiko… maybe another time? Was it okay if she disclosed of her brother’s sudden appearance? But that would have to be in privacy and that would make her a traitor to her own kin… What was she supposed to do…? At a crossroads, the platinum haired female bit down on her bottom lip before noticing the boy she had met before-
