Herryk let out a long, lusty-sounding sigh. Not.. not a lusty sigh that had to do anything with Dagner, of course, just... well, lusty about dragons.
In a non-sexual way. It really was more of a yearning sound, honestly.
Or something.
"I will have a bronze. A big, mean bronze. A manly bronze, you know? One that only chases golds. And you will have a... a blue, I'd bet, or a green. Something girly."
He scratched the dual scars that bisected his brow. Herryk wasn't trying to be mean, or even insinuate that Dagner liked boys, it was just. Well.
A blue or a green would suit the dark-haired, dark-eyed, creamy-skinned young man.
Herryk cleared his throat.
"If you were a woman, you'd have a gold, though," Herryk admitted roughly, wondering if that sounded too queer.
It probably did.

Dagner inspected his nails.
"A blue or a green, eh?" He had to admit, he wouldn't mind either - the bronzes and browns just seemed so girthy and cumbersome; and with such drab coloring too. Yes, a fiery emerald or a brilliant sapphire would suit him just fine. "I'm sure you will Impress a magnificent beast, my friend. I only hope I am allowed a fashionable one." He tossed his hair over his shoulder.
"Golds are too much trouble, anyway. All they do is eat and lay, and besides, it wouldn't do to be outshone by your own dragon."

Herryk's lips twitched as he fought the urge to smile.
Fashionable? A laugh died in his throat as he rubbed a broad hand over his mouth. It wouldn't do to laugh at his friend. A blue or a green dragon would suit the smaller, more slender fellow.
He watched Dagner for a long moment before manfully pursing his lips, his hand lowering to rest against his hip.
"A fashionable dragon," he snorted, choking, before finally bursting out into full-blown belly laughs.

Dagner frowned, and abruptly shoved at Herryk's shoulder ineffectually.
"Hey."
