While holding herself up still, she seemed to muse over his question while upside down. It was as if mathematics had gotten more difficult the moment she decided to stand herself up in such a manner. "More than a handful..." which meant more than ten, since that was a handful of fingers.
"...though... that wasn't so much between Saturn and Iris as it was Saturn and... I think we were at Eunomia before we started heading this way..." Most of their usual travels fell upon the allied territories. Eunomia's asteroid had been closer to the path which had been taken to get to Saturn.
The mention of showing off did get her attention, and soon enough she had to comment "Oh... this isn't showing off..."
Soon enough the girl was bending her arms at the elbows and lowering herself down, then lifting herself back up, almost as if doing a strange version of pushups while holding her body upright in such a manner.
"Now... this is showing off!"
Despite how the boy insisted upon her being the lucky one, the blonde had no intent upon agreeing to such a statement. She simply did not agree, mostly because she saw how wide this boy's eyes were. She just couldn't say she was nearly as interested, despite how playful she seemed to be at the moment.

"Quite a ways to travel then," he commented absentmindedly, amused by Iris's continued flashy actions. He vaguely remembered traveling from Earth to Saturn, it had been more than a few years back and it was safe to say he had done it begrudgingly. There were many a days where he wished he had the luxury to travel freely, to be free of the responsibilities his line created for him. At the same time, Crims enjoyed the feeling of belonging yet standing out at the very same time. He didn't fit the usual dispositions of most knights of Saturn while he still displayed many of their usual characteristics.
It also allowed him to be free of his father, it was a relief in itself.
"You're right, you're definitely showing off now," he replied, folding his arms across his chest. He shook his head, rolling his eyes as if it would hide the fact that he was impressed. He had no fancy tricks up his sleeve, at least not any he would be good at demonstrating at the time. "All my tricks do me no good since you already see me," he pretended to pout, frowning at her. "I haven't learned anything too exciting, cept combat related stuff. Next time though," he told her nodding his head a little more vigorously than intended.
"I'll be the show off!"

Once the girl seemed finished with her trick, she bent her arms down one more time and rolled her body forward so her legs would straddle the Sand Muncher before giving Aque a big pat along the side.
The Muncher minimally acknowledged the gesture by flicking his long ears. He was still busy eating.
"Combat during a time of peace?" she questioned rather easily before shrugging. "I mean, I guess you have to be prepared... but... I don't know... feels weird to me!" She had an easy grin on her face, despite her simple criticisms. Perhaps this was the reason her world did not have knights. They would have been eager for war that their world did not need.
Swinging one leg to the opposite side of her beast so for a brief moment she sat sidesaddle, she slid herself down and back into the stall.
"Well, make sure that you have something amazing to show me... with all the hype you are selling me, it better be everything you say..." A small wink. "And then some!"
Despite this boy being a stranger, she easily put her hand upon his shoulder and began to walk him to the gate for the stall. "I suspect that means you better get training... no time to lose!"
Perhaps that was her polite way of telling him that it was time to go.

"Peace is only temporary," he responded automatically, thinking of the extra duties he and his fellow knights carried. "There are too many...variables up in the air, things could change quickly. Much quicker than most would imagine," he explained, shrugging his shoulders. He too thought that it was a bit ridiculous but there was more than just combat training. He needed to learn how to properly access his wonder's magic, when he reached the stage in which the magic was readily available to him.
"There's much studying too," he offered, though he figured she cared little for the information. "History and what not. I'd take combat training over lessons. Much more exciting." Crims never did well when he was stationary for too long.
Lessons always ran long.
He couldn't help but retort cockily, "Oh trust me, it'll really wow you." He had some ideas of how he could surprise and possibly show off for her. He had some practicing to do but he didn't doubt that next time he'd catch her off-guard. He let her lead him, hopping over the gate easily when they reached it. "I'll have to keep a special eye out for your circus next time it rolls around." He could take a hint, he knew it was time to go. Besides he could only go unnoticed for so long.

Aque had finally finished up with his munching, and soon enough his head was looming over the gate, looking quizzically at the boy as he left.
Iris partially followed in Crims' steps, but instead of completely hopping the gate, she just settled her rump upon it so she was sitting. Though they had already said their departing words, a pair of golden eyes continued to follow the Page as he exited. It was as if she was truly trying to make sure he was leaving and not sneaking off to check on the other girls.
The Sand Muncher let out a bit of a snort into the girl's blonde hair, to which the girl chuckled. "Oh, don't be so moody! He'll be back... he seemed to have too much fun, silly boy!"
Whether Iris was referencing her pet or the Page, nobody knew. All she knew was he'd be around again.
