Her eyes widened, seeming to quiver shifting side to side in furious rage as she mentioned Israfel, she had been there. She had SEEN it first hand. With Amrita as well. She stood up suddenly, pacing along the ground clenching her fist again trying to quell the anger building up in her chest.
"They struck -here- first. They've been to our homes more then we theirs and that was only after they kidnapped you, put trackers in you, and killed Israfel. They deserved what happened on their lands. The only thing bigger then the hunters are the horsemen and what can a crippled race do? The threat is Medea and her alone. She runs them and has some grand plan that will get everyone killed. But even if we work with the hunters to stop them then what? They turn around and continue to attack us."
She shook her head, "And Israfel, who the hell has him? Do we even know the hunters name?" Her motive where far darker for asking that.

Bowing her head, she remained silent. She understood her rage, and didn't blame her for it. Most of the students at this school had gone through the pain of friends and loved ones being hurt by one thing or another. In this case, most of the blame was tossed at the hunters for recent actions. Though, she had trouble believing that they were completely at fault.
"Unfortunately.. the horsemen are the bigger issue here, not the hunters. As for them being weakened.. that all changed when they activated that orb." That orb--whatever it was.. their lost ones were returned to them, their numbers were once again whole, and there was no telling what they had planned in store now.. "It may be Medea who is pulling the strings, but she has many who are loyal to her, who would follow her cause with or without her. They are all a threat. As for the hunters.. I'm still working on that half." She had already offered her allegiance with them, but it was only to aid them in the fight against the horsemen. She would not dare raise a hand against her own kind who had nothing to do with the horsemen, and they knew it.
"No.." She shook her head slightly, letting her shoulders droop. "I have no idea what hunter wields him now."

Sammy stopped turning around again to look at Mei, her eyes flaring and flickering, "Orb? What orb? When did this happen?" For once Sammy had put it all on the back burner, the hunters, the horsemen, for a while she had just been herself again. But now? Now she was learning what she had missed and it didn't sound good at all.
"Jack Dammit..." She ran her fingers of bone through two toned hair hissing in irritation before stomping a metal toed boot into the dirt. "So we have some magical weapon, a bunch more horsemen, half the hunters are still psychotic dogs that should be put down, and the other half are barely any better regardless of how alike we our deep down." She had seen Rep and the other two, how they deffened him. On the horsemen Island, in the inverted world when they where minipets. They stood for him as quickly as Shehk and herself stood by Riley's frozen remains.
But they where still the enemy.
Eventually the topic of Israfel was breach again and Sammy could only look away from Mei at this point. "If you find out. You'll tell me. Right?"

Raising a brow, she was surprised she had not known about the orb the horsemen had in the last battle. Was she not around when this happened? "You.. were you not there when the horsemen invaded the human world?" She asked, curious on just how much she knew on this recent event.
Casting her gaze downwards again, her chin rested upon her hands as she mauled over the right words to say. Either way, this was going to come out.. weird. For the moment, she just remained silent. At her question on the unknown hunter who would be bonded with Israfel, Mei gave her a curious look. "I will, but.. what is it you plan on doing..?" Maybe she planned to speak with them? Have them relay Isra's thoughts? Or, did she plan on a little revenge..?
After waiting a moment, she finally spoke up again, a little nervous to be speaking with someone, whom she barely knew, about what--or part--she had been up to. "I've.. been speaking with some of the hunters as of late, actually. On more than one occasion."

Sammy frowned, a sense of guilt swelling up in her chest, "No... I wasn't..." She had been off trying to find an artifact, confronting her past, loving the one thing she still had in this unlife which was Siddie. "The last time I ran into them it was during the invasion of the Island..." She frowned even harder looking at Mei as if trying to decide if she deserved the truth.
"Honestly? I want to break the hunters spine over my knee and then I can't decide if I bring Israfel back or shatter him as well. I don't care what Rep said about his weapon, that it said it liked being a weapon. It's un-natural, a crime, I felt what it was like in a trance and if that was even a fraction of the truth its a fate none of us deserved."
She grew quiet again shoving her hands into her jacket pockets trying to keep herself calm as she started to pace looking at Mei, her tone changed, the sharp anger held during the talk of Israfel and his hunter replaced with something a bit more level headed.
"Which ones... and what where their weapons? I only know of a few of them and only by the weapons they wield."

That had been some time since she had last seen the them then. Normally Mei had no problem figuring out who was where and when, but that battle was utter chaos. Everything that had happened--she was still trying to wrap her head around it all.
The response from Sammy was one she half expected. As much as she disliked the idea, she had no right to tell her what to do after all that had happened. Though, if she did try and kill the hunter, she wouldn't just sit by either. "Maybe try talking to them first..? I completely agree with you on the whole weaponization issue, but not all weapons were forced.." She saw that first hand.
Grateful that Sammy didn't lash out at her when mentioning her meeting with hunters, she continued. "There were a few actually.. Gale, a blond boil with a large gun. He was the one I've been speaking with most. There are a few others as well, but the ones I have been able to speak with are decent people." Pausing to gaze up at Sammy, she cocked her head to the side, curiously. "Who is it that you have met?"

"I don't want to talk to them, I want to talk to Israfel, if he's still there. If he even remembers who I am." The last part was what hurt the most, the idea that no matter how the hunters talked about the weapons being the person they where, the chance that he wouldn't remember them, that he would just as readily attack their own friends if the hunter wanted too. That wouldn't be good. "Forced or not, what happens after, that's the problem. You've become a tool and a slave. And that's wrong on so many levels. No one should have to live like that."
Sammy laughed at the talk of meeting Hunters. "I've spoken to one, Renp, Rap... no his names is Rep, the psychopath who laughed during the horsemens islands being destroyed. He's blood thirsty, ruthless, and damn near insane without Insanity even touching him." She shrugged, "The rest? We fought more then talked. A boil with a large explosive launcher, tall, scrawny, you know his greatest fear is the dark? Shadows. He's practically the reason my ghoulfriend Siddie exists. Then there was a taller ghoul, she has darker skin and purple boots with blades on them for a weapon. Then the two who always help Rep, I think... I don't recall their names but one has two swords with skulls on them, and the other wields a large hammer."
She shrugged, "Usually when I see them the choice of action boils down to kill or be killed."

She couldn't blame her for not wishing to speak with the hunter, not after what had happened. It was best that she just let that issue be, and allow her to deal with it in her own way she supposed.. "Well, there isn't much we can do on the issue of weaponizing at this time. Maybe someday, if the horsemen issue is dealt with, we might find a way to stop it." Though, she highly doubted it.
Wincing at the name, she nodded lightly. "I know of him.." She answered, allowing her to continue. For the following hunters mentioned, she had a vague idea as to who they were, or a least what they looked like. "Scared of the dark? Really? Er.. well, I guess humans do prefer light to dark.." Just as when she was in there world. Everything was too damn bright, that it was almost blinding.
Now that she mentioned it, the ones she spoke of sounded exactly like the ones she had attacked when infected with insanity. They were hanging around that Rep character, and all fit the description given.
"Naturally. They don't always give us the choice to do otherwise. As much as I'd risk my life to help them against the horsemen, if they dare raise a hand against an innocent student, or other member of Halloween in my presence, I won't stand by and watch.. and they know it."

"Yeah I know... I still don't approve of it and I just..." She shook her head rubbing at her temples with bone fingers. "The Horsemen... I don't think we can stop them unless we stop the leaders. And those who would blindly follow them, it's all a huge mess."
When Mei reacted to the name of Rep she raised an eyebrow curiously. "You know him? Then you can agree some hunters need to be put down when they get that far gone... And yeah, I mean, we're made of FEAR and before they merged with weapons they probably gave off fear like any other human did right? I bet they still get afraid but their weapons sort of, eat the fear up before we can."
"They always strike against us..." she sounded somewhat tired now, "Every time something happens the hunter are there attacking us. Horsemen at least -try- to work with us it seems....Hunters are just... too aggressive."

It would be hard, that was a given, but she didn't believe the task to be impossible. At least she hoped not.. More and more students were joining their ranks by the day, and with all the horsemen that had been returned to them.. it was definitely going to be a challenge. She needed to find a way to gather information on them.
Yeah, she knew him alright. "He was there when the others and I were tagged. He was.. rude.." She wasn't going to get into details, but he was definitely an unpleasant person to be around from her experience. Him and his friend. "I also.. might have attacked them.. twice, in the haunted house after being infected with insanity." Not that she was proud of that, but he did have it coming. Karma and all that. "I suppose so, but the same could be said for our kind as well. There is idiots on both sides. As for them being afraid of their weapons.." she shrugged. "I have no idea."
Its true, the horsemen had been there more then once to aid them, but she doubted it was out of the kindness of their hearts. Obviously, they had motives, like making students into their personal soldiers. "Even so, the horsemen are bad news. They don't help us for free." Like everyone who had been branded for example.
