"Well, you know me. My life is never anything short of awesome," Tag said as he poured himself a glass of scotch, and then a second for the General. "How about things for you? Not getting in too much trouble I hope?" He offered the glass to his younger superior with a look.

"I see you often enough on the tv. I'm not so sure it's awesome - I'm sure you have your fair share of fans and even a stalker or two. Although I'm sure those are things which can't be...handled should you have a stalker or a rapid fan or two." He stated. Which way Tag would handle it, while powered up or taking them to a bedroom, he wasn't sure and didn't care to ponder for longer than it took to speak the words.
The drink poured, and offered, to him was glanced at for a moment. Oh, he really didn't like drinking. It brought back bad memories but he also didn't want to be rude and turn it down. It was with a good amount of hesitation that the glass was taken in his right hand.
"Aside from school, a job, and my night time job I don't have much time for trouble causing. I've found dating to be more painful than it's worth - at least at the moment. So other than those things nothing has been going on. I am planning a trip to Europe this winter vacation however." A shrug of his shoulders, just a slight movement, was given before he took the plunge sort to speak. The glass was lifted and in an attempt to not have to taste it for long he downed it in one gulp. Pulling a face at the taste, and burn, he was sure some of his taste buds had just died. Why did people drink this stuff? The smell had hit him first, moments before he'd taken the gulp, and that was horrible as well.
Setting the glass down, still pulling quite the comical face, he wrinkled his nose once before settling a look on the other. The look itself was something of a cross between a pout, annoyance, and disgust - more pout and disgust than anything.

Tag chuckled as the boy put down the glass of scotch in disgust. He wasn't offended in the least. He knew scotch wasn't for everyone, especially for newbie drinkers, and half the time he offered scotch he expected people to take a sip and reject it. It was fine - perfect for him, really. "You won't have the rest, I take it?" He took the boy's scotch and poured the remainder into his own glass, then took an extra long sip. Yup, it worked out perfect for him. "Sounds exciting I guess," he said. The boy admittedly didn't have much going on, and it wasn't like the work life of an eighteen year old was that fascinating. It may be awful, but Tag was pretty self-absorbed to begin with. "Europe should be something to look forward to at least."

"No. I haven't touched anything aside from a sip after we beat the senshi." In that big ambush, how could anyone forget that glorious event. "Since that night I turned up drunk at your apartment. I'm glad you didn't turn me away and rather let me sleep that off." He was more than thankful for that. He'd still been living at home with his parents then. He didn't even want to think of what either of his parents would have said had they seen him drunk. Tag had really helped him that night, even if the older agent didn't think so or see it, but Tag it seemed had the father thing down really.
"I'm looking forward to the break from here. As much as I enjoy this war, and it is a good cause, anyone can burn out on a good thing." And he was burning out. He could feel it and knew it to be true. He was burning out as he burned both ends of the candle, as the saying went.
"Any plans for the holidays?" He couldn't help but ask.

"Just some good old quality time with my son," Tag shrugged casually. He more than ecstatic to spend some extended time with his son - during the holidays, no less - while Chelsea was away with her boyfriend Mike. God, he hated that douchebag. But he never spoke much about Liam or Chelsea with other agents of the Negaverse. The less either side knew about one another, or his attachment to either, the better. "I'll be with him for two weeks, then his mother has him for New Year's, during which I plan to drink until I black out and wake up with at least one socialite in my bed. But we'll see how things go."

He should be appalled at the second half of what Tag had said - and yet he wasn't. He wasn't surprised at all in fact. The other man was a flirt and quite the ladies man. It was no secret from anyone, even in the social circles Alexandre traveled at his parents side. Not that any of that detrracted from the good qualities the man had, like how fatherly he came off to Alexandre.
"I see, it sounds like the first two weeks will be very good. I hope they go well." He really didn't know what to say about drinking himself into a stupor however. "I should be going. I have some things to do. I hope however that we can perhaps patrol sometime." No telling when though. Things could get busy, or anything else could happen. He found that living this life meant being ready for anything to happen - including being turned into a cat.
"Let me know when this is all going to air ahead of time, I'd like to be able to see it." And he might just have to hit the internet and see peoples reactions that night to it. A smile and nodding of his head as the teenager turned and with one last disgusted look to the falling apart cameraman he made to leave.

"Very well, take care General," Tag said, raising the glass of scotch to Benitoite until he left before sliding down the remainder of his drink - two drinks, really - in one large gulp. He turned to Keith and crinkled his nose. He really needed to get another can of Febreeze for him before the next interview.
