Poor thing, needing Colin to save him from the well-meaning machinations of Mrs. Rebecca Hargrove. Hearing that his mom wanted him to pick Björn up from the bus station wasn't surprising at all, but the mental image that accompanied it
was; there was no possible way that Björn would fit inside the little grey car! A Ford Escort wasn't exactly
tiny, but anything short of a mini-van type vehicle would be hard pressed to take all of the Swede's considerable bulk easily, let alone
comfortably. "Oh sure, yeah. I can do that." He tried stifling a laugh but failed, "Too bad there's no way you'll fit in the Escort...maybe if we had a convertible or a van."
If need be he'd motion for his boyfriend to relinquish the cell to him so he could talk sense into his mother, but she heard the laughter from her son apparently and thought better of it.
"Well, if you don't fit well, you don't fit. I still don't want you walking alone, there have been too many stories about people just disappearing." With a thoughtful chewing of her lip that would have shown Björn
just where Colin had gotten it if he'd been present to see it, Rebecca Hargrove fussed and tried to figure out how to get the boy 'home' in a manner that felt safe to her. Nothing came to mind, but she would continue thinking about it. "I'll have to think on this further, but that doesn't change that we want you here."
A visitor that
wasn't a vegetarian like her son! Rare treat that meant she could make meat-based meals with sides of veg, instead of visa-versa. Colin could deal, guests were more important!
