Kilian pulled himself up behind Kadryn and huffed. The climb had taken more out of him than he cared to admit. He really need to work on getting in shape. He peered into the cave behind the female and blinked. Though darkness didn't really affect his sight too badly, mist was another thing all together.
"So strange." He mumbled about the mist that currently seemed to just be hanging in the cave. He could just make out a few details at the entrance to the cave; bones, what looked to be the remnants of a nest or some kind of bedding. He wasn't so sure he wanted to travel deeper into this cave after all.
At that thought, Kilan heard a sound above them. It didn't sound big, like a dragon, but it didn't sound like an Oblivionite or Orderite either. He backed out of the cave entrance and looked up, his eyes widening at the sight. It was one of those strange, dragon like creatures and it looked mad. "Uh, Kadryn... We should probably get out of here." His voice betrayed him, revealing the fear he was feeling.

Kadryn turned at Killian's arrival and was about to speak when she saw him back up and look up.. What was it? If it was a Dragon they could take it on! She had killed a Kiandri, and with his help an Ayrala should be easy! SHe was about to say that when she heard growls from with in the cave and a large figure like the small dragons they ahd seen ealeir emerged from the mist, followed by several others.
"Uh-oh..." Kadryn said. One dragon they could take on, a bunch of small ones defending their home? Nope! Time to leave!
"Yup! Lets go!" She squeaked as she backed up slowly. She wouldn't bolt out of here, that would just cause them to chase, plus while she was sure she could out fly them, she wasn't sure Killian could escape.. so she'd go with him for their was safety in numbers...
Just as she reached the cave entrance she also felt the glare of the dragon like thingy above the entrance.. man she really should have paid more attention to her surroundings!
The Drakeins in the cave then charged at the intruders, sending out buffeting waves of wind in front of them.

Kilian looked over at Kadryn and about passed out from the sight of all the dragon like creatures emerging from with in the cave. He'd been right in thinking about not going inside. If they had, who knows what would have happened to them. They probably would have been ate. Gulping, he started backing up with Kadryn. They were almost to the edge of the cliff when the wind hit him.
Kilian lost his balance and he went tumbling over the edge of the cliff he'd just pulled himself up from. His hand shot out just in time to catch hold of the ledge that had been below. He quickly pulled himself up and stayed snug against the side of the mountain. "C'mon Kadryn!" He shouted up at the Orderite. they had to get out of there and fast.

Kadryn saw Killian fall off the cliff and unfurled her wings. It'd be tough, but she was certain she could grab him and slow both of their falls down that cliff and then escape from the pissed off creatures behind them.
As Killian called out to her she hurtled over the cliff edge and dove at him, grabbing him by his shirt, she dragged him with her down the cliff.
Her wings were large for her size, something she thanked Seren for as they flared and caused their fall to turn into a glide down into the mist. If they were just a bit larger and stronger she could have flown with him, but she wasn't that strong, so all she could do was turn this into a guided slow fall.
"Man, you're kinda heavy..." she said through gritted teeth as she gripped him with all her might as the mist came up to swallow them.

Kilian squeeked as Kadryn grabbed hold of him. He had not expected that to happen. He squirmed a bit as they began to float slowly down. Finally, he stilled himself, trying not to make it harder on her to control their decent. He huffed out a breath at her comment. "Maybe you're just not strong."
He gasped as he looked up and saw a couple of the dragon like creatures flying in circles above them. He looked down in time to see the mist rising up to meet their feet. "Just don't drop me." He said as he gritted his teeth and prayed they made it safely to the ground.
It didn't take as long to come down as it had to go up. In no time, Kilian felt his feet connect with the ground and he let out a breath he hadn't known he'd been holding. Thankful to be out of the air Kilian looked back up to the sky. It seemed as though the creatures hadn't followed them. "That was...exciting." He mumbled .

Kadryn huffed at his comment and felt the stain in her arms as she gripped Killian. Not strong enough? He was bigger than her and yet she hadn't dropped him! How was that not strong enough? Silly boy. After they landed she sat down and began to stretch her arms to get rid f some of the strain.
"Definitely exciting... guess next time I go looking into caves I'll have to search for those strange mini-dragons first....." She grinned. "At least my Ma can't complain about me coming home covered in blood and dirt today since I didn't fight anything."

Kilian frowned as he watched Kadryn. Did she really come home covered in blood that much? He shook his head and looked back up into the sky, a little confused about the beasts. "They looked so much like dragons...except they weren't." He looked back down at Kadryn and shrugged. "Yes, well, I should probably be heading back. It's getting late." He mumbled as he looked off into the distance. He wanted nothing more to get out of this place and quick.

Kadryn nodded in agreement. They certainly were like Dragons but not.
"Well, thanks for the company," Kadryn gave him a grin and trotted off into mists on her way back to the ferry to take her home.
and finally ending this XD We'll have to rp again soon :3
