She wished she could make it easier for Aventine. She had struggled, still struggled, with the same problems. The Shame Senshi recognized none of the names spoken, but she knew others that could be interchanged just as easily. "I'm sorry, Aventine... I don't know them. I know others. Some seem good, others... deadly. But wherever they fall, they think they're in the right, both the Negaverse and the Dark Mirror Senshi. The former call us alien terrorists under the thrall of a Moon Queen; the latter would call us 'sister' and make us as they are, if they could. To 'save' us, as I said." Gods, she was so tired that she was repeating herself. Pasiphae colored in embarassment, an apology all but falling out of her mouth, I"m sorry, I don't mean to talk in circles. I just... I understand how you feel. I truly do. I wish I could do more to help you... other than to say, some people are good, some are bad. Although tainted with Chaos, they are still human... and that makes it hard to fight them, sometimes. Necessary, but hard."

"No, no, no," Aventine said, flashing a smile. "I hardly think those are circles at all. But—please, by all means, do talk in circles all you can. It gives me time to catch up and let it all sink in."
Aventine had been given a lot to think on, but it was refreshing to know that she wasn't out of her mind for thinking such. It was a bit disappointing that Pasiphae didn't know anyone she did, however she couldn't be mad—she had no idea how many people were fighting in this war, and if they were all just faces in the crowd.
She replayed the senshi's words in her head—'necessary' was something she hadn't had a lot of time to mull over. The why's of it all eluded her more often than not, but hearing it spoken just made it real. She wasn't playing a game—this wasn't for leisure. It was necessary. "How do you fight them? Can you get rid of the Chaos, like—with some antidote or something? Or is it like, uh," she struggled for a proper comparison, though stalled; the moment she realized the only thing she could equate it to was an incurable, untreatable sexually transmitted disease, she realized that it was bad. "…You know, unfixable," she awkwardly muttered.

Pasiphae brushed some of her hair behind her ears, a small frown appearing on her face. "Mostly, unfortunately, I end up fighting with my fists. Once... when we were in the Surrounding, and a really powerful force of Chaos came, we united together to defeat it. All of us--Senshi and Knights--we called upon our power and channeled it all at once to defeat a giant youma after a long, terrible battle." She rubbed her arms as though to wipe away the memories of that time, but she added, "When it comes to saving them, with purification, a Princess must be the one to do it. We're not sure why, or exactly how the process works, but... it's possible. I wish we could save more... that more of them would believe me when I try to help them."

Aventine wasn't the best when it came to reading other people's emotions, though even she could see that it wasn't the best topic to be bringing up with the girl in front of her. She wanted to ask more about the Surrounding—wanted to know as much as she could about this place, and about the power the senshi and knights had called about, and about the giant youma, but instead she kept herself as focused on the future instead of the past. "I've never met a Princess," she sighed, sounding a bit disappointed. "But I guess that's a good thing. I've got too many questions and would probably make the rest of the Knights look bad. Speaking of, thank you so much for talking to me about all of this. I'd like, know nothing if it wasn't for you guys willing to go out of your way and give me all these lessons. I'd be hopeless, so I appreciate it, so much, Pasiphae. I'd like to look into helping more—saving more—of them, but if you can't do it, I don't know what more I could do."
It beat brutalizing them, sure, but if she couldn't do anything to help them, what was the point of even trying to work things out?

Pasiphae flushed, immediately objecting, "Oh, it's no trouble, really! I'm just sorry I can't tell you more. There are many Senshi and Knights better than me! That have been fighting longer, or always trying for peace, or know more about Chaos. I can introduce you--I'd be happy to do so! I'm sure Polaris would be willing, and all the Jovians, and... everyone. Just let me know; I'm sure you could learn much, much more from any of them!" She had never taken compliments well. However, there were certain lessons that the Shame Senshi had taken to heart, even with their recent ambush by Chaos forces. The Surrounding had proven to her what she had always suspected--that together, Senshi and Knights could save others and defeat Chaos. All of her many allies and friends, and most of all the Jovians whose name she proudly carried, had constantly reenforced to her that she was not alone. It warmed her against the winter's cold and calmed her embarassment. She smiled reassuringly at Aventine as she sought to pass on the lessons, "You won't have to do it alone. If we work together... we can do anything. That's what I believe." Pasiphae brushed her hair behind her ears as she continued, murmuring, "I've met three Princesses... Polaris, Iris, and Chronos. They all want to help save people, too. I only really know Polaris well, but I'll happily introduce you. She's very friendly, and she taught me a lot. I'm sure she'd love to meet you."

"I've met a few pages of Chronos!" Aventine blurted, perhaps a little too excited. "But, Polaris, I've never really—you know, heard of. But I am still meeting people," she insisted, "And if you really think she'd love to meet me, well then—then, I'd love to meet her! It's just," Aventine laughed and sheepishly combed her fingers through her hair. "Princess means she's like, top notch? I don't want to misrepresent the knights because, I'll be honest, I am definitely not the best page you are going to find around these parts. Though, if she's got a lot to teach, I guess that's really something to be excited about. Is she out and about, doing important princess duties, or is she available for kinda normal conversation?"
Aventine had given up finishing the last bite of her burrito; it hadn't been really impressive, and now that it was cold, she couldn't imagine wanting to finish it. Crumpling up what was left, she casually tossed it in a nearby trashcan before flashing Pasiphae a quick smile. "—Or any of the princesses, for that matter?"
Ugh, what she wouldn't have given for a knight princess or something to help her figure out what she was supposed to be doing.

Kyuseisha no Hikari Sorry for the double notification, but forgot to add in the 2nd paragraph the first time! Pasiphae was happy when others were happy. So, to see Aventine excited and interested in any topic made her smile. When it came to Princesses, the Senshi had to admit that her knowlege was limited. However, she had definitive feelings about their roles in the fight, "I can't speak for the Princesses directly, of course, but... they fight alongside us, so I don't think they'd be unavailable. You don't... have to be an ambassador or anything, if you don't want to! It's... okay to just talk." She pulled out her cell phone, the pearl on the end dangling in the winter breeze as she showe it to the page. "Senshi talk to each other with these... but I think Knights do it differently? Either way, I can give you the number for my regular cellphone, and you can call me anytime you want to talk. Or for me to take you to see Polaris, or anyone else I know... I don't mind, really!"

Aventine's eyes were sparkling and she hastily nodded at the offer. "That would be absolutely amazing! Is it easier if I give you my number now and you can text me? I don't have anything to write down your number on me, sorry. I suppose I should start carrying around a pen and paper or something." She'd just have to make sure that any important information she scribbled down didn't fall into the wrong hands. "Also," she reached forward, fingers gently grazing the pearl. "That is just gorgeous. I'm so jealous."
Withdrawing her hand, she reached a hand up to comb her fingers through her hair. "You senshi sure are lucky. I want a fancy phone with cute charms. If I want to talk to anyone, I have to run around and call their name. —Oh, did you want my number?" she asked, shaking her head and trying to keep herself on track.

Kyuseisha no Hikari So sorry it took me so long! The Senshi had learned from Kallichore to come prepared for such things and pulled out a small notebook and pen of her own. With a gentle smile she handed them over to Aventine, "Here, you can use mine. If you just tear out the page with your information... um, you can keep the whole pad. I have another one at home." Listening to the page continue, however, made her feel a little guilty. The Shame Senshi had only a small idea of what knights faced; Valhalla was so close with Gannymede that he could be easily informed of anything. Sessrumnir and Babylon were the same. Yet, it did not seem fair that allies she held as dear as any Senshi could be made to feel less. Pasiphae certainly did not want Aventine to feel left out, and she indicated the pearl on the end of her phone, "With this, I can take us to the moon. Knights are welcome, too. Anytime you want to go... I mean, I've never tried to space travel with a passenger but I'll gladly take you?"

Aventine took the notebook and scribbled her powered name and her cell phone number; she wasn’t sure if she ought to put 'Anella' down, too ,but just to be on the safe side, she refrained. Not that she could really focus on what name to use when Pasiphae mentioned the moon. Slowly her eyes drifted up form the paper and she looked at the senshi in front of her.
"…The moon?" she prompted, trying to ignore the butterflies in her stomach. "…You can take people to the moon?"
There was no shortage of awe in her voice and she handed the notebook and pen back. "What's it like? I thought you couldn’t breathe on the moon, is there some secret society up there? How do you breathe? What do you do up there?" she asked, sounding downright entranced.

Pasiphae accepted the notebook and pen, her smile only growing at Aventine's obvious fascination. The Eternal couldn't blame her. Space travel without a large shuttle, atmosphere where science told them that there shouldn't--couldn't--be any... scientifically, it was fascinating. However painful her experiences with her own moon had been, the lessons it had sought to teach her had been important. Earth's moon, far closer, would forever be a sanctuary from the blood-stained memory of the ambush. "I can. Well, I can bring people to two moons, technically. I don't really know how we breath... we just can. And... well, the last time we were there, we were escaping a large ambush. I haven't really been back since..." Pasiphae's voice trailed off, but she pushed on to the more positive aspect, "But the moon... Earth's moon, it's beautiful. There's a palace, and it's tranquil and... welcoming."

Aventine breathed a most wanton, "Oh," and took a brief moment to envision it. She didn't know what to expect; all she knew was that she wanted to see it for herself. "Sometime, I'd really like to go. The next time any of you are taking a trip, can I maybe tag along? I promise I won't touch anything! Or break anything! Or ask too many questions!"
…Of which none of those she could actually guarantee, but she was willing to try. There was a sort of burning desire in her; she'd always loved getting out and exploring, but if there was a chance to leave Earth—to explore somewhere entirely foreign…she couldn't just pass that up, could she?
She'd been unknowing and uninformed for too long; she didn't want opportunities to pass her by just because she hadn't asserted how badly she wanted to be a part of them. Besides—maybe there was more information on being a knight tucked away out there in space!

Kyuseisha no Hikari Aventine can come to Pasiphae's moon/TEH MOON anytime! =D Will always happily shuttle her poofy shorts around. Pasiphae took joy and comfort in the joy and comfort of others--or, at least, in her allies. She gave a happy laugh, clapping her gloved hands together once with enough force to make the adornments at her wrists jingle. "Of course! Anytime you want to go... I'll be more than happy to take you! I'll text you very soon, so that you will know how to contact me." She briefly considered powering down at this point, so that the page would know who she was outside of the mask... but Aventine had not seemed eager to do so, and the Senshi of Shame would never force anyone who did not feel comfortable to break away from the comfort of glamor and code names. "We can only travel to Earth's moon when it is full, but my moon... we can go anytime. So... so don't hesitate to ask, really!'

"Really?" Aventine asked, absolutely enthralled. She wasn't really big on space, but going to the moon? Hell, that was something professionals trained for years for; of course she'd hitch a ride if she could. "I mean, if you're offering, absolutely! I'd love to visit. I'll repay you! I mean, I haven't been to my wonder yet, but I'm working on it!"
…Just not working very hard.
"If you're willing to let me tag along, I'm sure we can work something out, though! I'll…I dunno! Pack a picnic basket, we can go out and watch the stars or something," she laughed. She hadn't any idea if such a suggestion was appropriate or plausible, but if she could get away with it, you damn well better bet that she was going to at least try. If they weren't going to eat up in space, maybe they could do some training, or Pasiphae could teach her more of the universe's deep dark secrets…
Either way, there wasn't a chance she wasn't going to look forward to it.
Quicksilver the Archangel [If Pasiphae is offering a free ride, I don't think Aventine could resist! She's definitely going to wind up loving Pasi forever xD]

Kyuseisha no Hikari SPACE PICNIC FOREVER. Gonna call this the final post for this RP on my end. "I would love to visit your wonder, but... um, only if you want me to come." Exploration was, unfortunately, one of the areas of Senshi life that Pasiphae got to exercise the least. She had never been to a Knight's wonder, not even Valhalla's, and the prospect of going to find somewhere new genuinely excited her. She just didn't want her new friend to think that she was obligated to take her for a trip! "But... definitely, you're welcome to visit Pasiphae anytime." In truth, the Senshi was still slightly concerned about how her moon would make others feel... but Perseus had not seemed negatively affected during their brief visit. And the Shame senshi had now come to terms with the pink-dusted world, understanding the lessons it had tried to teach her. With flashlights and care... they would certainly be safe.
