She couldn't help a soft chuckle as he responded, deciding to take to the shore again, and casually stretch out her body. First a down-ward dog movement, then she leaned forward to give both hind legs a stretch at a time, tail curling. Those eerie eyes of hers poised back onto her company, "Is that so? And how do you know, hm? It seems to be doing me well, wouldn't you say?" a playful little wink was sent his way, before she laid onto her stomach, and rolled playfully onto her back, a deep purr rumbling in her chest from the comfy position.
"Perhaps we should look into finding you something to eat instead? though I enjoy a delightful debate, I'm certain your stomach won't be too pleased with you ignoring it for too long." she teased. Eyes narrowing with a clearly bemused expression, "is that what has you so grumpy, hm?" she cooed.

Dastell wondered why it was that lions confused logical for grumpy as often as they did. The cheery ones were always stupid. There had to be a connection there. Forgive him, world, for not succumbing to blissful ignorance. He didn't bother voicing any of that.
"I can get something," he said. He always tried to avoid owing a favor. Would he seriously be willing to starve instead? Sources said yes. At least he did her the courtesy of explaining himself. "I don't like being in debt."

she remained unphased with his decline, instead canting her head, and curling her tail with a carefree nature, "in debt? ohmy. What sort of female do you take me to be? I'm starting to feel you are growing ill feelings about me~" she giggled faintly, before rolling to lay on her side, tail patting the ground, "Well then, you won't mind if I come and watch, now will you? I'd love to see how a lion from the mountain hunts." she assured.

Don't say anything, a voice in his head warned. Don't. say. anything.
That was an unrealistic expectation when put into play in the outside world, not to mention pointless. She'd only take his silence as surrender and follow him, he wagered. But that was the thing: Did it matter what he said or if he said nothing at all?
Dastell had the makings of a scowl on his face that never fully set in. "I feel like it'll be easier on us both if I just pretend to say yes."

Ah this was just so delightfully entertaining~
Just look at his mind churning, thinking, carefully debating words that were to be chosen. How cute~ She waited patiently for him though, showing no qualms for his internal toil, even glancing off as if finding something of interest elsewhere.
But her alluring gaze returned to him once he spoke, grinning with pleasure, even giggling lightly, "I look forward to seeing how someone from the mountains hunts. It will surely be an excellent show to behold." slowly, she eases back onto her paws, stepping towards him casually, "But, you should make sure you're thoroughly dry, don't you think~?" she cooed sweetly.

musicaloner7 Let me know if/when you want me to set up the follow up RP to this one. Or, if you don't feel like it, we can just assume hunting was had. =] Or if you have another idea, let me know. Blahblahblah. For the first time, Dastell put distance between them that had nothing to do with safeguarding his personal space. When he was far enough, he shook the water off best as he could. His fur was an absolute mess by time he was done, but at least he was dry. Ish.
"This is good enough," he said dismissively. "I'm going this way."
The East looked promising to him.
Okay, no it didn't, but it was as good a way as any.

Hopefolly Yeah we can move onto the hunting rp! c8 or have it already happened, and go onto one with them perhaps traveling together? or meld the two! She squinted her eyes slightly as he shook out his thick, fluffy fur, unable to help but giggle at the state he was in now. Wow... what a sight to see! his fur was all over the place! Oh if only he'd allow her to groom him~ She'd have it all straightened out in no time! Perhaps he'd allow her once he had a nice meal in his tummy.
Without hesitation she followed after him, taking right up to his side, tail flicking to and fro, "you'll feel much better after eating something, Mr. Grump~" she cooed playfully, set on following him for some time, fully intrigued by this interesting male.
