Her heart was pounding and her head was spinning, she was trying to comprehend everything that had just happened. It'd be a lie to say she didn't like Charon but she was good at being happy with what she had, she'd never expect this. He seemed so adorably nervous and despite telling herself it was OK, she felt it too.

Tomorrow.
Later, when he was settling down to sleep the realisation would hit him. He had a date. With Rika. A date with Rika. His heart would give a little lurch and he'd spend half the night awake both worried and excited about it.
He hadn't expected it to happen. Especially not like this. Not so soon (never mind the fact that they had been friends pretty much all of their lives) and he felt, strangely, as if it was happening to someone else and not to him at all.
Except it was and when tomorrow came around, he'd have to make sure he didn't mess anything up.
