(You're welcome. Anywho, just for the record, if I don't reply in the next 2 hours or so, it's probably because I'm having dinner... Also, on a completely random side note, how do you do the face with the big cutie eyes that you just did?) Koras just shrugged again to indicate he was just wandering around. He resumed walking along the forest path, unknowingly heading in the general direction of Pewter City, his Pokemon perched on his shoulders as he began humming another song, this one oddly soothing.

(ok and you mean this? emotion_kirakira ? Well you know all those yellow faces over the text box? Well there is a scroll down box go down to the Emotions section and there it is emotion_dealwithit ) Lilian blinked before shrugging. She used another path to Pewter City. She was going to restock and rest before training some more for her first gym battle. She smiled to her pokemon happily as they continued to walk through the forest.

(Thanks! emotion_kirakira cat_biggrin ) Koras and his own Pokemon soon reached the end of the forest as well... only to frown slightly when he saw a rather bulky-looking trainer abusing the hell out of a poor Horsea with a single scar over its eye, the man throwing rocks at it while it desperately tried and failed to evade. The unknown trainer's words weren't particularly nice either: "C'mon, you little shrimp, you'll wanna be faster than that if you're ever gonna beat the Pewter City Gym! Honestly, how you lost when you've got a double type advantage against all the Pokemon in that Gym is beyond me!" Needless to say, Koras was slowly getting more and more pissed off on the Horsea's behalf by the second.

( emotion_yatta no problem) Lilian was also watching the scene but couldn't hold herself back. "Sweets, thundershock. And make so powerful his kids could taste it." She commanded unforgiving to anyone who thinks its a good idea to beat on his/her pokemon. "Pi." Sweets nodded serious. She built up power in her cheeks before unleashing it on the trainer. "Now Gibbs, bite and hold him down if he stil is consious." Lilian said to her puppy-like pokemon. "Growl!" He said running to the groaning man and biting in to his shoulder to hold him down. Lilian then went over to the Horsea to pick it up. "You poor thing." She said taking out a bottle of water to rehydrate it's skin and clean away the dirt on it.

However, the Horsea obviously wasn't going to trust that easily, because it squirmed fearfully in her hand, obviously frightened. The somehow still-conscious trainer glared and, after a moment, somehow managed to break out of Gibbs's grip, causing the Horsea to flinch and shrink away. "Oh no you don't! Get lost, this is private training time - it's none of your business!" He began to stomp over to the girl... Only for Koras to suddenly appear behind him and trip him up, much to the man's surprise. The orange-haired young man's hands quickly blurred as he hit several pressure points, knocking the significantly larger man out cold even before he hit the ground. He then turned his attention to the still-frightened Dragon Pokemon, which seemed a little more relaxed ("a little" being the key words there) now that its trainer was out cold. Koras gently and silently took the scared Horsea from the girl holding it and began singing a lullaby to it, causing his Pokemon to quickly cover their ears as everyone in earshot started feeling rather sleepy... including Lillian. The Horsea fell asleep rather quickly, calming down. (Note: basically, he's using his own version of the Sing move at the moment... if you don't want your character or her Pokemon to fall asleep, then we'll just say they only got sleepy.)

Lilian noticed his singing was causing her and her pokemon to get sleepy. She quickly gestured them to cover their ears as she did the same. When he stopped, Lilian stepped closer to hi before loking over the Horsea. She took out her medical kit. She looked around it for wipes, potion sprays and wraps. She took them out before working on the pokemon in his arms. Sweets climbed up on to Koras's shoulder to watch her trainer work. "There that should hold this one over before it gets to the poke center. I'll take this guy to the police station in the city. See ya later." She said dragging the guy by his shirt. Sweets and Gibbs followed after her.

Koras flinched slightly at the electric mouse Pokemon actually TOUCHING him, but managed to restrain himself from doing anything rash. Since Lilian seemed busy, he silently took the Horsea, gently cradling it as he took it to the Pokemon Center. Once there, the Nurse Joy took one look at it and immediately got to work healing it, though unfortunately she couldn't fix the scar on its eye. Once the Horsea was all healed up, it immediately began cuddling up to Koras, much to the boy's baffled surprise. Nurse Joy saw what was happening and smiled, deciding to clue the obviously confused boy in. "It looks to me like that Horsea has taken a liking to you. Why don't you keep it?"Koras blinked several times in surprise, then hesitantly nodded. He picked the now-healed Horsea (which was STILL cuddling him) up, and began following Lillian - after all, Horsea's (former) trainer had the little guy's Pokeball, not him.

Lilian made sure to not be gentle as she dragged the man to the police station. She smiled as she dropped his sorry butt in front of Officer Jenny. "What is the meaning of this?" The officer said in outrage. "Well ma'am this man was abusing his pokemon and I felt that he should be behind bars and striped of any pokemon in his 'care'." Lilian said serious. Gibbs was growling at the man as Sweets was ready to shock back to sleep.

The man snorted. "That's a load of bull; you have no proof!" he snapped. "Now where's my Horsea?" Jenny took one look between the Lilian, the abusive trainer, and the obviously angry Pokemon and sighed. "Unfortunately, while you're probably telling the truth, he's right; we can't punish him without proof."Fortunately, Koras happened to walk in at that moment with said "proof" in his arms. The Horsea took one look at its trainer and flinched, trying to become as small as possible. The trainer growled. "Oi, brat! Give me back my Horsea!" Koras rather quickly figured out the situation from the look on the officer's and Lilian's faces - he DID know the basics of law, after all - and quickly decided to help get the proof needed. He put on an innocent, puzzled face, and pointed to the shivering Pokemon in his arms. The trainer growled. "Yes, THAT Horsea. I know it's mine, it's got the same damn scar I gave it a while back!" Then he realized exactly what he'd just admitted and who he'd admitted it in front of. "...Ah, crud." Jenny nodded, satisfied as her Arcanine started similarly growling at the man. "Good enough for me." With that, she began searching the man for any and all Poke Balls he had, as well as any other Trainer-only items.

Lilian smirked as the man offered all the proof needed for the Officer. As Jenny's Arcanine and Gibbs increased their growling, as the man started to try and get his way out of there. She looked at the only other two pokemon he had. She sighed, "I'll take these two to Nurse Joy so she could look them over." She said smiling. Gibbs followed her. Jenny nodded before cuffing the man. Lilian walked out and walked to the poke center carrying the two pokeballs carefully. Sweets nuzzled Lilian's cheek.

Koras silently held out his hand to Officer Jenny, who blinked. "What? Did you want something?" Then she saw the way the Horsea was cuddling into him, not to mention the protective way he was holding the Pokemon, and quickly caught on. "Oh, I see." She smiled and handed over the Horsea's Pokeball. Koras smiled ever-so-slightly and nodded in thanks before exiting the room. He Then made a few quick adjustments to his Pokedex concerning his new Pokemon, then blinked at the info about the little water-type that came up, glancing at it with surprise. Drago - Lvl 14 Horsea
Ability: Sniper
Nature: Timid
Moves: Octazooka, Smokescreen, Focus EnergyNeedless to say, he was rather impressed - the little guy already had the makings of a good sniper-tactics Pokemon. He returned the newly named Drago to his ball before wandering off.

Lilian looked down at the pokemon taking naps through the glass. She smiled sadly at the scars that will stay on their bodies. One was a baby Abra with a x scar on his forehead. The other cubone also practically a baby too with a scar running from the tip of his tail down to the base. She pulled out her pokedex. Seeing as she had already decided to give them a better trainer. Psy- lvl 2 Abra
Ability: Synchronize
Nature: Quiet
Moves: Teleport
Sane- lvl 7 Cubone
Ability: Lightningrod
Nature: Careful
Moves: Growl, Tail Whip, Bone ClubNurse Joy smiled to her before opening the door letting her in. Lilian watched as the Abra started to wake up. He looked around looking scared. He started to cry remembering his trainer. "Hey hey now. It's ok." Lilian said in a soft voice. The Abra looked up to see Lilian and cried alittle more before trying to move around. Lilian quickly picked him up, holding him close so he would hear her heartbeat. Slowly the beats soothed him down before cubbling closer to her. Cubone had woken up when she was calming down Abra and he crawled over to her. "Cu-cubone, Bone?" He asked shily. Lilian smiled before using one hand to cradle him too. He got emotional and started to cry at the warm arm around him. "Hey now your trainer is gone now. I'll take better care of you two." Lilian said. The two pokemon in her arms nodded gratefully before sleeping in her arms.

(Sorry I took so long; college keeps me busy.) Noting it was getting rather late, Koras silently headed to one of the trees bordering the town. In an impressive feat of acrobatics, he managed to jump all the way up to a rather high branch, landing gracefully before laying down on said branch and getting to sleep, his Pokemon safe and secure in their Pokeballs as he slumbered.

(yeah it's ok. I got back to college on monday) Lilian smiled as she walked out of the poke center in the morning. She had Psy and Sane in their balls along with her other two. She wanted to walk in the forest to train with them before battling the gym. She figured she would use Gibbs and Sane. Cause Psy was too young and Sweets would work out. "Come on out Gibbs and Sane." Gibbs barked happily before sitting in front of her. Sane though panicked as he was out of his ball. He still thought he was with his other trainer. "Hey Hey over here, Sane." Lilian said smiling. Sane relaxed seeing her before playing with his bone.

Coincidentally, they had started training right next to the tree where Koras had been sleeping. He awoke and sat up on his tree branch, watching Lilian and her Pokemon with a mixture of curiosity and puzzlement. Sure, he'd heard of Pokemon battles and even participated in a few, but he'd never actually bothered to train for them outside of the occasional wild Pokemon fight. He silently leapt out of his tree and landed on his feet, standing off to one side so he could watch more closely.
