This thing was making people suffer, dying slowly, and in a place they called home. Now THIS was why he wanted to be a hunter. These things were parasites, and it was very evident with those around them getting sick. They really were a disease!!!

Gritting his teeth, Jerry scurried along from his vantage point, keeping the horseman through Roar's crosshairs. The weapon kicked, ripping forth with a fresh bark and he groaned in Jerry's head, eyes glowing green and brimming with fear.

It must have been fun for the hunters to fight near the humans, and Invictus actually made a pointed effort to stand near the group playing cards, pressing his hand to their deck and drawing his slightly crusted fingers - a mix of his own blood and the virus he'd been so keen on spreading - across it.

Now, if they attacked him here, would they hit their little civilians they were trying so hard to protect from him? Or did they not care at that point? He didn't care himself, the dark green crystal he carried with him was more than pleased to suddenly spark to life.

Ying arrived to take FEAR from the pathetic humans, and instead found herself in the middle of a battle.

A battle where they were attacking her fearless leader.

She immediately summoned her tiny black bow and began vaulting arrows at a hunter with horrible fashion choices. It was bad enough that he was human, but no shirt? HOW VILE. HE WAS A VILLAIN AGAINST FAHSION!!

So he got a few arrows to the butt.

Harrison lined up his sites.

A yellow ball of electric Fear crackled in the crossblades, then released as Harrison threw apart the blades. The results smacked right into Invictus.

THEY WERE VERY SHOCKING.

Rep didn't care for humans. Normal. Disposable. He'd been like them once, he didn't consider himself such any longer. He was beyond them and the charge that raced in his veins was proof of how superior he was to them. They didn't even think to flee as he leapt into the air, bearing down upon Invi, determined to strike, determined to hit. He was so wrapped up in the attack he didn't notice the hail of arrows. But Tracey did.

Distraction in either of them was catastrophic, he lost it, lost momentum, lost direction, couldn't sync with Tracey as closely as normally, and once it began it was like the wobble of a spinning top and only escalated until with a loud whum of blade tearing through air he found himself going wide of the mark.

There was a thud of steel cleaving wood into splinters, the rickety card table was forfeit of the miss. The nearby people had luck on their side and little else to be spared the axe's blade.

All that mattered as far as he was concerned was the horseman, everything else was acceptable collateral damage.

They were probably going to die of disease anyway right?

"AWOOOOOOO!" Jerry suddenly cried out as the Fear burst forth from his canon. The shot went high unfortunately, bursting in the sky as he spotted the second horseman and the female Sun rushing in, "OFIE! Target the other horseman!"

Just as everyone had turned to attack the dress pony who was being an a** and dancing near people, Ofelia happened to catch sight of another one seeminly appearing and. . . attacking them in the ignoring pony's stead. Ofelia wasn't going to have that, it made her angry to think they'd even try and so she turned her weapon away and towards the newcomer.

"Hey! Back the ******** off!" A thin slice, barely a hit, but it worked for a taste of FEAR.

Melvin heard Saliva call to him, excited and urgent as she squeezed his mind. It was coming. Hurry! It was coming and she was going to need him to aim before she shot this thing out. He could feel her breathing deep, rising high and frantic for release.

"Alright. Alright." He called to her, wondering if he should tell her to practice breathing to calm down.

Aiming, he fired and jumped when he saw it ACTUALLY hit. He did it!! He had his first successful charge ever!!!!

He was in about mid motion to clap before his stopped, flushed, looking around, and tried to smooth it off. Yeah, he was cool.

Okay she was not so great with a bow. Ying was far more suited for the quiet life of the needle and thread- not the tumultuous battlefield. She felt a tiny scratch along her arm, but it was nothing. Ying merely danced out of range, and took aim with her bow again, one eye squinted. "Continue with your work please, noble one!"

She was going to get this fashion disaster.

AND SO SHE DID.

"Your assistance is appreciated, Ying." Invictus said calmly, as he touched at his burned clothing, touching at the deep gashes left by Harrison, yet seeming still to not register the hunter on his radar at all. Instead, he moved, patting the young Conquest horsewoman on the shoulder.

"Return quickly." he said calmly. "We will take our leave now, but we do reward for loyalty." But there were too many pests here to be able to do too much damage here anymore. He'd begun enough. Others would come as well in the future.

Perhaps even he would come back, but for now...

A touch of the distortion crystal he wore around his neck and the Horseman suddenly seemed to fizzle out of existence - back to home, just as a hunter would.

The arrow slammed into his fear shield and for just a second seized his attention. ********, he hadn't noticed the other one show up to back up dress guy. And a woman too. Was a female horse even a horse? Maybe it was a wohorse or a horseness? It didn't matter, all that mattered was she was slowing him down.

He turned his attention back to Invi, but just as he did, the heir vanished.

"Oh what the <********> they can teleport now?!" he barked angrily, once again combatblocked. This wasn't really turning out his day.

In a childish tantrum he turned his attentions to the b***h who hit him with an arrow in the first place, in his rage, anyone would do. It was just fortunate a lot of the civilians had scarpered already.

Ofelia was about to send Rue away when she noticed the other horsefolk (pony...chick?) still there, still going after Rep, and when the other redheaded gent had gone and taken a strike she figured it was her turn as well. Jerry had asked her to protect Rep (or help or something) even though the other guy was more than strong enough to do it on his own, but she was the type to follow orders and so she complied.

She complied hard and Rue was charged, just in case the ponywoman thought about hanging around.
