Seeing his state of body, she immediately felt the need to speak, but her demeanor toward this male, the odd feeling of liking someone... her mouth stayed shut as she simply stood and followed him, tail swishing lightly as she easily caught up to him. Her ears twitched lightly, a huff heard as she avoided a blinking firefly. Such an irritating thing... oh well, it was passed now and she had simply the male with her to pay attention to.

Despite his slightly small stature, Vatican was very well groomed. The reason was two fold. As a member of the Sweet bloodline, he had instilled in him from a young age the necessity to keep himself tidy, and as an intellectual, it is always easier to meditate when things are neat. So though a vague outline of his ribs were visible, the fur over them was shiny and smooth- well taken care of by his family's mions.

And on they walked, over one hill and then another until, upon a third, it was possible to see a large square of the orange vegetables growing haphazardly in the small valley. The walk, though not very long, tired Vatican greatly. Nevertheless, he was unable to feel this and walked on even as a slight tremble started up in his legs. "Ah... yes. I do recall these plants now..." he commented as they descended amongst the pumpkin patch, "...though I feel the flowers on you are much more pristine versions..." was the proceeding comment as he bent down to look at a few flowers, then look closely back at Dyananali's.

"Really?" She flicked an ear and looked down, moving slightly herself. "Hm... Strange... I suppose it's an excellent reason to wonder why they also don't collect dust and grime when I go about, or fall off." She proved this by smacking her tail down upon the ground a few times, the flower within the tail tuft simply moving with the air and nothing more. "Perhaps there is something that attracts them to me?"

Vatican watched with mild interest as the strange female tapped her tail on the ground, the flowers remaining clean and unbroken. "Fascinating... do they grow, or have you had the same ones all your life?" He walked around her in a circle, pausing to peer at the one tucked behind her ear. "The leaves and vines look quite alive... as though they could grow..." he pondered aloud.

"It's very possible." She blinked. "I can't see it very well, would you want a closer look or something of the sort?" Her eyes shimmered softly as she looked at him, curious about the plants she'd rarely given thought to.

Vatican tilted his head in thought, a closer look? Would that increase his understanding of these plants...? Hmm, probably not. With a shrug, he shook his head and replied, "No no... this is quite close enough. I thank you, though, for the offer." Looking around, he pondered quietly. The only way he knew of the growth of pumpkins was by visiting this patch over time. So... "Perhaps we should meet again in the future... so I my observe the changes in your flowers, Ms... uhm...?"

"Dyananali. Apologies, I'm not used to sharing my name with others. But yes, you may. I don't mind. I offered a closer look because I'm not sure about how they stay. Perhaps tiny roots of some kind? I know I feel something in my fur but I'm not so sure what." She looked to the side, sighing softly. Tired... that was troublesome. "I think I might end up staying the night here..." Familiarity with surroundings helped. A lot.

Vatican blinked, rather surprised with himself that he hadn't thought of that. Of course close observation was the best way to learn of new things, but it hadn't seemed quite prudent for this situation. Alas, now that he pondered on it, perhaps he should see how they anchored to her fur. Roots would imply living plants, which would imply that they grew... stepping forward, he tilted is head curiously and was about to nose the flower peeking out from behind Dyananali's ear when he paused, "Stay the night...?" Leaning back, he looked around curiously. The sun was indeed setting, it would be dark soon and he had not slept in a few days. Tonight would be a good night as any to do so. "If you would not mind... I would prefer to stay here for the night as well. I do not particularly enjoy travel in the dark..."

"I'd not mind at all." She gave a soft huff, looking to the male. "You're actually rather pleasing to spend time with." Her hoof was moving a bit, starting already to press a softer spot into the ground for rest. Pumpkin vines were sometimes hard and prickly, but these seemed younger, soft and fuzzy rather than with the adult prickle. Her ears twitched, moving aside a growing pumpkin. "Night is a terrible time for travel. Hard to see the gopher holes." Her tail curled slightly.
