"W...wait! Hey!" Mot scrambled after her, walking beside the small undead, his face wrought with worry. "But! But... No! Um.. Stop! Please? This is... not ladylike! And... um.. h-hey!"
The reaper tripped over a rock, stumbling forward. He managed not to fall over. "So.. why break into the shed if it is just a shed then? Why is it so necessary to commit a crime without a prize?"

"Gah!" Amrita startled at the sudden Mot, leaning away with her arms up protectively. When she realized who it was she pouted, straightening herself and continuing on as if nothing happened. "Ladylike? What's a lady supposed to be like?" She challenged, looking up at him in a way that was both curious and daring. Yes Mot, what was a lady supposed to be like? Better tread carefully!
"I have my reasons! Besides, it's only a crime if I get caught, right?" She then made a face, a suspicious one, she narrowed her eyes up at him. "Or if someone tells"

Oops. Old habits died hard. Hel hated that excuse as well. "Er... well.. I suppose being a lady does not um... FORGET I SAID THAT!"
He seemed to sweat about this.
"Well you will get caught! I am here, and I know what you're doing!" He put on his bravest face. "And I will so tell on you."

"Forgotten!" Amrita promised, hoping that if she was amicable Mot would stop on this goody-two-shoes charade. Sadly it didn't work, and the Vetala was frowning as he pointed out the things she seemed to overlook. Like the fact that Mot was there, trying to stop her, and quite ready to tattle on her. It resulted in her looking thoughtful for a moment, seriously considering his words.
"You're right." She murmured, heaving a sigh and slumping forward in defeat. Suddenly she straightened, her fist flying right into his stomach with all the might she possessed, having every intention of sending him to the ground.
"Sorry, Mot!" Amrita said sincerely, her hands pressing together apologetically. "But I can't have that!" Then she took off, wasting no time in getting the hell out of there.

Did.. he get through? He DID! Mot beamed proudly. He'd done a service! He was the best Boogeyman ev---
OOMF!
Mot croaked, holding his gut and collapsing under his own underwhelming weight. "N...nooooo..." Mot reached out a hand as the small cloaked figure ran for it again. Mot slowly roe, whimpering at the throbbing pain in his empty stomach.
He wobbled as he stood, staggering where he'd seen Amrita go. "Must... not give up! Oof... she could get hurt.. after all.. ungh... ow..."

Amrita ran until she could run no more. The shed was in front of her after all, and moving any more forward would be just silly. She stooped and panted, her hands on her knees until she realized that she did not in fact need to breathe, since she was Undead and all. Thus she quit that particular shenanigan rather promptly and stood up properly, smoothing out her tattered cloak.
She felt bad, really she did! Yet at the same time it was almost a rush; she was being a bad ghoul, and it thrilled her somewhere deep down. Still, the guilt. Mot was a very nice boil, and she just...! Well, at least she bought herself some time; she'd make it up to him one day, but not today. She had to do this today. For herself.
"Alright, you can do this!" Making a brave face, Amrita started to circle the premises carefully, trying to find a way in, or at the very least something she could use to pick the locks.

"S....stoooop..." Mot cried out in a wheeze, finally catching up to the ghoul as she stalked the shed. Unlike Amrita, he felt more of a need to breathe. Panting, his long limbs climbed over stumps and rocks to get to the clearing.
"Okay... okay so you're stubbon. That's OKAY!" He chuckled some, tiredly. "You are passionate about your goal! I understand.. but... let's discuss this?"

Amrita clicked her tongue in disappointment when she saw Mot crawl over some stumps and then double over to catch his breath. Who was the stubborn one, here?! Geez! She cursed under her breath and hissed at him, making frantic gestures to get him to tone it down. They were in front of Breck's shed after all, and quite ready to break in!
"Keep it down! Or you'll get hauled in for trespassing along with me!" She whispered harshly, grabbing a nearby stick to poke at some crab grass seeds; last time she was here, they tried to bite her to death! There was no room for error in what she was doing, not now. "What's there to discuss? I'm getting in there and you can't stop me!" Her voice was still a harsh whisper, but her timing was great; what she assumed to be crab grass seeds were in fact just baby mushrooms, not yet grown into their shape.
It meant she could move on.

Mot hushed up, tentatively backing up away from the trespass zone. He wanted to save Amrita, but at the cost of his own clean record? "At least tell me what you're trying to accomplish here? Are you stealing something or what?"

"Why do you care?" He was being insistent, and almost annoyingly so! She didn't ever remember Mot being this nosey, either! "Who are you, the Boogeymen?" Amrita scoffed further at his question, tiptoeing over a few branches that looked like they wanted to trip her or drag her under the ground.

Mot frowned, and purposely snapped a twig as loud as he could. "No, not yet. But that's my goal."
Another twig was snapped from outside the boundary line.
"Oops~"

Amrita froze when the twig snapped, not daring to move, not daring to breathe; that noise echoed in the quiet woods. When nothing immediate happened she let out a small breath and slowly - carefully - set her bare foot on solid ground. She turned to face him, some scathing retort on her lips---
The second twig snapped, and something curled around Amrita's backward ankle.
Whatever she had to say was cut off in a startled cry as she was pulled into the shed.

What... just happened?
Mot dropped the sticks he'd been using to try and deter Amrita from pursuing her crime riddled ambition. "Amrita..?" Mot called out, daring to take a step forward. "Am...rita...?"
:C
Mot dashed forward, aiming to run after the ghoul who'd seemed to be dragged into the shed.

No response. Of course there'd be no response!
The thing that pulled Amrita into the shed became evident as more of it started to creep around the entrance, grabbing and twisting anything that wasn't solid in the ground. Which of course made Mot a lovely target. The vines grew fast, snapping and trying to grab his heels. There seemed to be three different motives and three different vines; large dark ones from the surrounding trees that tried to grab him and pull him back; medium sized green ones from under the shed door that tried to pull him in, and thin little silvery ones that just seemed intent on sticking to him like---
Oh wait, those last ones were just falling spider webs.
Have fun with those, Mot.

Mot yelped, doing something akin to a rain dance as he dodged the vines. He definitely didn't want to be pulled into the woods by big ugly vines for various reasons. The ones trying to pull him inside, well, he'd prefer to get the on his own two feet. ANd OH JACK! These vines were sticking to him and and and---
Oh they're just spider we----"EEEEEEK!"
Mot yelped as a vine wrapped round his ankle, flipping him up and down onto the ground. Oh well.. maybe it would take him straight to Amrita!
*u*;
"I...I'm coming for you Amritaaaaa---"
