Merrell has hardcore abandonment issues, so if they were being nice to her or paying attention to her at all, she would have fed off of that energy and probably become as good of a friend as any of them would allow. I think that her trust in them would grow as they formed the Bolts and became a team, which would in turn deepen something that might have been somewhat superficial to something familial and genuine. Eventually they'd have seen past all her prancing around and showing off and recognized that she was just a deeply hurt kid who wanted somebody to love her. /cliche
Noz, if you genuinely don't have a preference regarding the bronze rider, I'd love it if we could stick to the story I used in my prompt. Mainly because Merrell had a significant (to her, at least) relationship with L'roh, and therefore having her father be the one to kill her mentor would be significant for her development. But like I said, I'm flexible so please speak up if you'd rather keep the story you used for your prompt!

Go for it, Fae! :3 As long as Kris finds his boytoys friend killing people and gets attacked, all is well. I think yours is waaaay more personal/interesting. Sucks to have ones boyfriend go killing at your friend, way worse for your father to kill your bestie. ):
He would also totally hug her if/when the mask bit is seen through. ... if allowed. He likes hugging.

S'lar is probably friends with all of them. I'm seeing him as a real calming influence on the team especially if they can put up with his little quirks. I also imagine he frequently fusses over them too. XD;
AND YES. A post-thieving RP would be awesome!

Dizzy & Jet, y'all have mentioned Natai RP? I thought with the wherholder event it'd be interesting to have the Bolts visit. They tried to kidnap them and all that stuff. :B
