He nodded. "Yeah, she's doing well for the most part now. Worried about her one daughter though. I am too. She isn't as happy as she used to be but she doesn't want to talk to anyone about it..." Cedric frowned as he talked about his niece. Her sparkling smile had slowly faded, from what he guessed was the self realization of her speech impediment. He honestly half blamed Deskri out of habit, but both parents were like that growing up, but they also had malices, and Cedric was positive that Kindle did not have one of those. He checked. Several times in fact.
"It's unhealthy for a such a small child to bottle her emotions up like that..." he said with a sigh before looking at Aiden again. "I'm sorry about rambling a bit. It's just been a worry on my mind. I doubt you want me to prattle on about those,"

"That's good." Aiden nodded a little, then frowned. "Its okay, hearing about other things takes my mind off of what's occupying it. She sounds like maybe she needs a close friend... I found it a lot easier for me when I was younger to speak to my twin sister." She nodded a bit, but didn't smile. Truthfully she no longer cared of Mira.

Cedric nodded, but ended up frowning again. "She has a twin sister as well, but she's even shying away from her now. I think she compares herself to her sister too often and finds herself falling short...." he said with a sigh. "It's like she just wants everyone to forget about her, or is waiting for everyone to abandon her, which will never happen mind you, but it's troubling that such thoughts could remotely be crossing her mind...."

Aiden frowned deeply. "That's not good at all... I hope that she snaps out of it soon, it certainly won't do her any good thinking like that for very long." She sighed a little and shook her head. "Maybe she just needs a good sit down."

Cedric half laughed. "Perhaps, though it's hard to sit a child down and tell them to stop feeling a certain way. " He looked at Aiden. "One can't just stop feeling hurt or worthless, no matter how untrue it is, no matter how much you want the feeling to go away. You just go on until one day the good feelings outweigh the bad ones. If we can make her see the good, perhaps it'll begin the healing process..."

"No, but being talked to about things helps... At least when I was a kid and needed someone to help me out of my funks I didn't really have someone to come talk to me about it, which was something I truly wished for." She shrugged a little, then nodded. "But I see what you mean... Eventually things got better... will get better... with time."
