Anyways i made Axel have black hair, and blue eyes...beacuse

1) It came to mind
2) I remember my favourite character from GadGuard and well.....I had a crush on him..so i said sure.

Sora bit the inside of his cheek as he attempted concentrating on the book he was reading. But Axel was making it very hard to do...

The older male stood behind him, peering over his shoulder and breathing lightly in Sora's ear as he read over the brunette's shoulder.

"Maximum Ride by James Patterson, huh?" He asked finally, the sound of his voice so close to Sora's ear making him jump in his seat. Axel chuckled lightly, moving around to the other side of the table in the library to have a seat. "You're not jumpy of anything, are you?"

Sora shook his head 'no', embarrassed by his own reaction, before frowning in confusion at the somewhat emo football player sitting infront of him, or more precisely, his red hair.

"What'd you do to your hair?"

Axel grinned lazily, running a black gloved hand through his scarlett locks. "I went back to my natural color. I think I'm starting to outgrow my gothic ways. Besides that, I looked too much like that guy Zack that Cloud is friends with."

Sora continued to frown at him, the bright red of his hair suddenly reminding the brunette boy of a rooster.

"I... see..." He offered the red head a pointed look, not sure why he was fooling with Sora today. "Did you need something Axel?"

The red head, quirked an eyebrow shaking his head casually.
"No, just wanted to talk to you. I have to be honest, I find you... enticing. You and I should hang out sometime."

Sora laughed lightly, scratching the back of his head.
"I'll pass. Thanks."

Axel pouted lightly.
"What? Why not? You'll hang out with Riku, but not with me?"

"Riku's my best friend." Argued Sora. "We've been together our whole lives, and we'll be best friends for the rest of our lives. You, I only know by reputation which preceeds you."

He smiled darkly, his teeth glinting.
"Hopefully you've only heard good things." Sora smiled simply, which he hoped the red head took as a 'yes', because the boy smiled more genuinely then, tilting his head to the side as he leaned foreward on his forearms. "You and I really should get together though."

"I'm really not interested, Axel." Reiterated Sora. Axel's grin widened dangerously.

"So it's true..."

Sora frowned in confusion.
"What's true?"

Axel leaned back in his seat, laughing lightly.
"Something Kairi was telling me the other day."

The brunette's curiousity was piqued, and it was he who was suddenly leaning forward.
"What'd she say?"

Axel leaned forward, grinning evilly as he did so, and bringing his mouth close to Sora's ear.
"You're in love with your best friend..."

Sora sat back so fast he nearly fell out of his chair.
"Say WHAT?!"

The librarian shushed them just as Axel stood to his feet laughing, one hand digging around in his pocket of his hoodie.
"You are so much fun to mess with, Sora." He took a pen and scribbled something across a stray peice of paper before sliding it across the table to Sora. "In case you ever change your mind..." He drawled seductively, letting his fingers trail lightly across Sora's arm as he walked past to leave.

After he was gone, Sora took the peice of paper, glancing at the scrawled phone number before tucking it into a place in his book. The guy had some nerve. But Sora was never sure when to take him seriously...

"What's the matter, Sora?" Riku asked as he walked into the library and over to his best friend.

Sora looked up, grinning.
"Nothing. What's up?"

Riku gave him a smirk of amusement before sitting down.
"Nothing with me, how bout with you? You always were a bad liar. What happened in here before I showed up."

"Axel was here." Sora told him plainly, not noticing the way Riku expression suddenly darkened. "He was just messin' around with me. Asked me out and gave me his phone number." The brunette laughed. "I turned him down and he said some off the wall stuff about me and you-"

"Like what?" Riku demanded suddenly, causing Sora to blink at him in confusion.

"Huh? Oh. He said that the reason I was interested in him was becasue i was in love with you. I never got to say it was becasue I was into girls. Which by the way, Tifa gave me her phone number today."

Now it was Riku's turn to blink in surprise.
"Tifa? Did you ask her for it?"

Sora shook his head.
"No. We've been talking a lot lately and she said we should do something sometime, and then she gave me her number. She's got a great body, but I really don't think she's my type."

Riku grinned teasingly at him.
"When will you learn what type is your type? Cherry wasn't your type either. And if memory serves, you've dated most every type of girl there is, what options do you have left?"

Sora laughed, scratching his head with a shrug.
"I dunno. But the same could be said about you. What type is your type?"

A slowl, lazy grin stretched out across the silver haired male's face.
"The you-type."

"What's a U-type? Is that like a bra size or something?"

Riku nearly fell out of his chair laughing, causing the librarian to shush them again, glaring at them over the rim of her glasses. Riku composed himself, waving his hand dismissively.
"No, but never mind about it. You still coming to stay over at my house tonight? We can go swimming at midnight."

The brunette laughed lightly.
"What is it with you and swimming at night? You swim at night and sun bathe during the day."

Riku sneered in disgust.
"I do NOT sunbathe."

Sora raised a challenging brow.
"Oh no? What would you call it then?"

"Taking a nap."

Sora giggled.
"Fine then. A nap. But honestly, all that time in the sun and you never get any darker."

Riku hooked his thumb over his shoulder.
"I get that and my hair color from my uncle, Sephiroth."

Sora laughed, shaking his head.
"You've got some weird relatives, Riku."

"Tell me about it." Sighed the older male, running a hand through his hair. "So are you coming tonight or what?"

Sora shrugged.
"Yeah, sure, I'll be there. You live right behind me anyways, so it's not like I can't get to your house. I'll have to see if I can find some swim trunks. Are you sure it won't be too cold to go swimming."

Riku snorted.
"Are you kidding me? The waters always warm, and don't worry about bringing swimming trunks."

"Why not?" Asked Sora, confused.

A chesire cat made it's way across Riku's face and he leaned forward to whisper lightly in Sora's ear.
"Because the best part about swimming at night is that you can do it naked..."

I really, as you can see, liked the way this story was continued..only Silent-Revolver was suppose to have Chapter 2, but I'll arrange something with her, hopefully.

Anyways I really enjoyed that Chapter 2, and thanks for fixing the 'hair' problem. I owe you honey.

So I have inspiration to write Chapter 3 but I'll let someone else do it, or I can do Chapter 2 , and a half......I don't know.

Chapter 2 and a half -
Title: So when does the fun begin?

[Note:First fo all Read Chappy 2, and then read me!!!!! heart heart heart ]

Riku's mother, Aruma had just finished gossiping with a close friend when she heard Riku come in.

"Hello honey! How was school?" she asked, pouring herself a cup of coffee.

Riku shrugged as his answer. It had been a boring day really, that was until Sora agreed to go swimming with him. Now the day seemed to be happier. The sun glowed more brightly, the skies clouds winked once or twice, and Riku could see the moon planning 'something'. He couldn't wait to spend a night swiming with Sora.

But wait he hadn't even asked his mom yet? What would she say?

"....ummm....mom could i swim at night with Sora tonight?" he asked shyly.

His other gave him a questioing look. "Huh? Tonight? Like at what time exactly?"

"...at mid-night...."

" Eh? Why at night, and why with Sora?" then it hit her. She gave a devious smile, and started to laugh like a hyena. Oh, she got it all right, and fully understood why Riku had been acting weird.

Riku swallowed, scared. Why was his mom laughing like that? He had a pretty good idea she understood what was going on, but....Maybe she didn't!? Hopefully not.......

" so....you wanna swim with Sora-kun. Okay!! Why not after all you guys are tight friends, right?"

" y-yeah...." Riku replied.

" And you two have known each other for years?"

" yeah."

" And you two have told each other secrets again and again, right?"

" yeah."

"And your gay right?"

"y-ye-WHAT!? No, I'm not!! I'm not!!!!" Riku said, alarmed. To this his mother gave a smirk. Her face scrunched ina disbelieving trance.

" Sure......anyways and you and Sora are what now?" she asked, sipping her coffee.

"....friends like we've always been," said Riku.

Aruma shrugged. "Riku I know, now, you love Sora. Of course now that I think of it-it was obvious. What with all those pictures under your bed, and all those moans I hear at night, and all those erections I saw...."

"MOM!!!" Riku exclaimed, shocked. Just how obvious was he? Had he really done that?!

Aruma laughed at her son's pinkish glow. "Relax I was joking with the whole erection thing.....So does Sora know?"

"No. And I don't plan to tell," replied Riku, annoyed at his mother's playful nature.

"Oh why? Don't tell me your afraid to know how he feels?" she said, eyeing Riku.

How he hated those little stares!! Why did she do them anyways?!
" Well yeah. I mean it's not everyday someone goes up to you and say I love you. Especially not when it's a guy telling a guy." he explained.

" Whatever. I still think you should tell him. He's a good boy. Sweet, adorable, and delicious in your perspective..."

Riku felt himself grow hot at his mother's correct assumptions. Armua chuckled, and then took out a few chocolate chip cookies for her and her son. She palced them on a plate, and gave it to Riku.

"Alright let's talk....."

"For the last time go already!!" yelled Sora outside his window. Axel looked in an innocent fashion, as if he hadn't done anythign wrong. He waved, and then stared up, yelling for him to come down so they could go to BlockBuster and rent Pirates of the Carribean. So he said anyways.

Sora had had it. He grabbed his coat from his deformed chair, tossed it on, and opened his door in annoyance. Only problem was someone was there.

"Sora? Who is this boy?" asked his mother, Yukita.

" umm...Axel from school...He followed me here and -"

" Axel likes you huh? Well that's something now isn't it?" interrupted his mother.

"What!!?? How did you get to that conclusion!?" Sora asked, his face with disgust.

Yukita gave a dangerous look. "I'm a witch after all....you should know I know a lot things.......So your going with him?"

" Heck no!! I want him to leave!!!" replied Sora, even more disgusted at his mother suggestion.

Yukita laughed. Her son could be so naiive!!! No wonder he hadn't figured out Riku loved him! The idiot!

" Don't break people's hearts Sora....Or yours will break at the end...." she said, popping a long pipe in her mouth. It was her cigarette-her special cigarette.

"Mom he doesn't really love me....He just likes my looks....I guess," said Sora, flapping his hands to dismiss the idea.

Yukita's yellow eyes gave a silent warning, and then she left them up. "You think? Sora tell me who does love you then?"

"I dunno...." Sora answered. From all he knew no one loved him. No one. But why would his mother ask then? She never asked without reason to.

Yukita gave a sigh. "Sora....Tsk. Tsk. You are so naiive. Well run off but...,"she gave a creppy smirk, "but then go to Riku, and both of you will do me an errand...."

"What errand?" Sora asked. Why did she always put Riku with him?

" I need you two to get me some Ik-Kyabe medicince for when I get my hangover tomorrow....."

"Your drinking again?! What's it for this time?!"

" To celebrate tonight's event...your swiming with Riku in the lake right? So I need to drink to congratulate him," she cheerfully announced, clapping her hands together.

"Congratulate?" Sora asked, innocently.

Yukita as a response kissed him on the cheek chastly. She began to walk outside to her garden wearing her black dress, then stopped shortly.

"By the way," she began. " Your not bringing swimming trunks tonight...."
