Staring incredulously at Sharra, Marosa drew his hand away and flexed his fingers, staring at them for a long moment. He then touched Sharra's hand again, and getting no reaction, broke into a wide smile. "This is amazing. This means that oi dinnae hav' ta' worry aboot touching ye, because yer in love with someone else." Leaning back and taking his cup of chocolate, he downed it happily, and it seemed that the weight of the world was lifted from his shoulders. He seemed a lot happier, at least for the moment. "Ye kinnae begin ta understan' how relieved oi feel. My first fren' 'oo could quite potentially become more than just a friend, and I don't have to worry about touching him." He tilted his head back and laughed at the snowy sky. "I haven't had any best friends afore." He actually never had any friends at all, and his father had always pulled him away from the 'lesser caste', simply for being a full-blooded demon. No son of mine is going to end up impure by hanging with lesser fools, he'd always say. Marosa's happy mood seemed to vanish the moment it appeared, and he bit the edge of the cup unhappily before blinking and holding it out for Sharra. "Oi dinnae suppose ye have any more...?" He gave a happy smile again, relief evident in his eyes as he stared at the other demon. "Oi'm sorry if'n I get a wee bit sad. Oi've allus grown up hard. My da' never let anything fun happen, being a pureblood n' all." He tapped his rounded ears. "Oi've seen some Gancanagh with pointed ears. Those'uns are considered impure blood." He stared at his cup. "At least, according to my 'da." Ah, love. He couldn't help but think of home, and thinking of home left him thinking about her. He didn't want to think about her. "Oi would love ta spend more time with ye. Oi've already been shown around, but mayhaps we'll have a few classes together?"

The blond demon grinned right back at the other, already rather fond of this new friend of his. Marosa really did have a certain charm about him, one that really had nothing at all to do with the power that the Fae was ever so self-conscious of.
"Oh that's a cancel, eh?" Sharra responded, brows raising, "Well that's pretty damnedly convenient I'd say." The Nergal chuckled easily, planting a hand on the cold stone of the fountain and leaning back. "Well, see, I don't really have a best friend either, not really. Well Aksaja kinda, but he's really bad about the friend thing. Emotionally stunted dragons and all that." The explanation of his nearest and dearest friend was blunt, but intensely fond. The boil didn't have that many people close to him, so each new person he came to know was treasured in one way or another. "So friends it is, hmm?" And he offered his human hand to the other, now that he knew that even the simple act of casually touching another person was monumental to his new friend.
Hefting his thermos, the boil snickered softly, entirely bemused by the Gancanagh's mannerisms. "Yeah. There's definitely more where that came from. I'd just started in on it when you got here." Reaching his hand out for the redhead's cup, Sharra went to pour him another mug-full. "It is rather delicious, my aunts made it for me when I was small, and I had to have the recipe for the mix when I went off to school. That's when they bought me this thermos."
As Marosa continued, Sharra gave his new friend a consoling pat on the shoulder. "Parents tend to expect a lot out of their offspring. And I know some parents don't handle it as...er...joyfully as others..." Honestly there had been a great many times where he'd felt he'd lucked out, being raised by his jovial aunts. "Pfff. Besides, us purebloods, we need to get out there and mingle. How else are we going to find out about the world. My aunts always used to say that the purebloods ought to set the standard, which means respecting your fellow monster. They're pretty exceptional demons, I have to say." There was a rather thoughtful tone that drifted into the elder student's voice, hints of deeper emotions, as he hadn't always appreciated his aunts the same way that he did now. In fact, he'd gone to school to be rid of them, a fact that now made him feel a touch bashful.
"We should have classes together. I've passed my exams, but that certainly doesn't mean I can slack! There's a lot of subjects I have yet to take. Anything you're particularly interested in studying?" Setting his own glass down on the fountain with a soft cling, he filled it halfway up and took a slow sip. It was at the perfect temperature just now, and if he estimated correctly, there should be at least one more mug's worth inside his thermos. A likely parting gift for his new Fae comrade.Kanth I put your username as Marosa for a second. My brain. This RP. XD!

Clasping Sharra's hand eagerly, Marosa shook it, his eyes sparkling with glee as he found that he could actually touch the other without inconveniencing him at all. "Convenient fer you, but na' fer mesself. Oi'm not worried aboot tat now." He grasped the cup and drank, his holey wings fluttering delightedly in succession. "Ye'll have to share teh recipe, if'n ye dun mind." He couldn't help but grin at Sharra, actually feeling happy for once instead of letting his inner turmoil overcome him. Listening to Sharra's advice, Marosa couldn't help but nod. "Aye. He's fair, most of th'time, but..." His gaze grew distant as he thought, remembering. "He dinnae like it when oi was touching people. When oi was a wee 'un." The fey pursed his lips, taking another drink of the chocolate. "He dinnae like teh fact tha' oi had no clue. He wanted me ta know teh effect I had. Wanted me ta use it." He took another drink, now looking at Sharra eye to eye. "I never knew me ma', but my da' allus says oi'm just like 'er." He shrugged his shoulders, snorting a bit. "She must have been a wee kind soul, for one o' us. Toh, ye kinnae miss what ye never had, so dinnae go feelin' sorry fer me." He stuck out his tongue, chuckling a bit. Maybe this snow and hot chocolate was really getting to him, or maybe it was the fact that he found a friend that he didn't have to worry about being himself around. Maybe it was a combination of all three; despite that, Marosa was giddy, and it was blandly obvious. "Aye, er... classes. Aye." He thought for a moment, the joy slowly ebbing away as he thought seriously about this question. "I dinnae really look into it, but oi have a few things in mind." He reached into his bag and took out a notebook, flipping it open and turning it so that Sharra could see what was written on the page. Shadowcraft 101 Creature Feature 101 Curses, Hexes, and Spells Botany Basics Minipet Training 101 Art of Illusion Literature Class"Oi might catch a few others that look interestin', but teh Shadowcraft really intrigues me, as our type of fey dinnae have shadows." Azure Desiderium LOL yes. This rp. ALL THE FUZZY FEELS.

"Well you certainly don't have to worry on my account!" Sharra confirmed brightly, rather glad that this would not prove to be an obstacle in their friendship. "And I don't think my aunts will mind if I spread the love. They do love giving the stuff out. It's a damn shame I can't bake, a'right, because they have a million recipes. But thus far I've proven to be a dismal failure in the actual cooking department."
As Marosa continued, the demon's features tightened almost imperceptibly, green eyes narrowing a touch as he listened. He could hear the struggle in the Fae boil's words, and it bothered him. Though the Nergal had never had a true Fatherlike relationship, he could see the way that the differences betwixt son and sire put a strain on the younger Fae. "Mmm. I suppose there is a time and a place for everything, but in the end...you're the one who gets to decide how your abilities should...or should not be used." It was quiet, a gentle offering on the blond's part. "And even if you and your dad don't see eye to eye, well...as silly as it sounds, you're the only one who's you." Marosa after all had feelings and emotions all his own, and the elder student found himself feeling ever so slightly protective, as though he should stand up for his new friend's rights or something of that nature. Not that he would encroach upon family matters, he didn't know the other nearly well enough for that.
A soft ripple of laughter met Marosa's sound of mirth, and he shook his head. "Hey. Different is often a good thing. And you seem pretty capable. No shame in a bit of kindness." Though he'd met a few that didn't share that particular view, but then, there were reasons why Sharra kept the company he did.
Leaning over as the notebook was produced, he took a gander at the list that the other had jotted down. "Ooooooh. Minipet Training. I desperately need to take that one. My ghoulfriend did, and it seemed to help her out." Perhaps it could help him with his surly Freymon. Herbert, after all, seemed to be just as in love with Yaya as Sharra was, and twice as jealous.
"Shadowcraft, huh?" He pursed his lips, "I don't know as much on the subject. But Nergals of my variety aren't as shadowy as other variations of my species. Some of us even have tentacles." The blond wrinkled his nose. He really couldn't imagine that, as his 'extras' manifested as spines and eyelike orbs. The only person he knew with tentacles was Riley, and hers were very er...interesting. Not to mention sensitive and easily damaged. They seemed more a weakness than a boon.Kanth LOOK! BEHOLD! A WILD TAG APPEARS!

"Aye, oi'll have ta see if oi have any recipes lyin' 'round." Fiddling with the cup, the fey's wings fluttered, casting the snow off of them. "Aye... yer right." He nodded thankfully, all too glad that the other felt so strongly about this. "Tanks. Fer dat. An'... oi might need summun to watch out fer me, when I need to touch others, ta feed... oi get twitchy." Marosa nodded and finished his drink, standing up. He set his cup gently where he was sitting, stretching for a moment and getting warmth back into his limbs. "Aye. Oi have one, but ee's back en moi room." The fey couldn't help but grin. "Oi plan on gettin' more." He turned to look at Sharra, his own nose wrinkling in reply. "Ye dun say? Tentacles?" He wiggled his fingers. "None o'tat weer we come from." Bending over to touch his toes, the fey couldn't help but grin mischievously as he scooped up a bit of snow. "But snow? Aye. Plenty where we come from." Packing it loosely, he turned and chucked it at Sharra, attempting to aim well and with surprise. "Ninja'd!"

"Eh. Don't feel too bad if you don't. Gift's a gift!" He murmured cheerily, beginning to pick up the cups and reassemble the thermos, since they'd all but drained it betwixt the two of them. As a matter of fact Sharra could almost imagine himself sloshing as he shifted, completely full of the tasty liquid..and nary a regret in sight.
"Hey..." He bumped the other's shoulder with his knuckles lightly, "I've got your back, a'right? Bros. Also I'm pretty sure that if you give people the heads up it won't be too terribly big of an issue. There are others here at school, all with their own little oddities. It's sorta...part of the territory here at Amityville." Honestly Sharra hoped that he'd managed to reassure the fey boil well enough, leaning back a bit as he watched Marosa stretch leisurely.
The Nergal had glanced down to fish his Eyephone out from a coat pocket when the snowball arrived, and he made a rather undignified yelping sound, shoving the electronic device back from whence it came, looping a finger through the handle in the thermos as he stumbled forward, free hand reaching down for ammunition to muster a return volley. "Ninjas?! I'll show you ninjas!" Packing his snowball firmly, he hurled it towards the redhead.
Nah. Christmas in Halloween wasn't so bad.Kanth This is the RP that doesn't eeeeeeend, yes it goes on and on my - OH MY A SNOWBALL TO THE FACE.

All too glad for the gesture, Marosa laughed as he kept lobbing snowball after snowball against Sharra, happy that the nergal demon had imparted such wisdom to him. Part of the territory. He guessed everyone had their demons. It wasn't long before the fey was completely overtaken by laughter, unable to keep lobbing snowballs at the other before he pointed to the school, trying to talk in between laughs. "Mebbe... we shoul'... go inside..." He panted, attempting to catch his breath as he leaned on the other, not able to remember when he'd had so much fun. Azure Desiderium and thus it ends with a last post from you? <3
