“Um…” It was definitely an uncomfortable situation. Before, she’d only used it when she was fighting, so her target had never had time to get scared. But, this was better than fighting. Maybe? So, best to get it over with. In response to his question, Cybele simply shot the bow and said “...that?” She turned away quickly, even though she knew what her magic did. “I’m so sorry!” Apologizing was never a bad idea, after all. But what was she sorry about again? She turned back toward him hesitantly, saying, “I mean.. uh… how do you feel? Did it work?" If she was going to use her magic, which she probably was, she needed to stop getting so embarrassed about it at least. Oh well. She tried to smile at him but it was still a bit weird.

Camelot did not feel like he had just been shot, which was certainly a good thing. He did feel, however, the magical boost that she was meant to have given him.
"Oh! Heavens, that is impressive," he said, sounding a little awestruck. He had been fighting in this war for some time, but he did not cross paths with those that could boost the stats of others that often, so he wasn't used to the feeling of it.
He rather wished he was, though, as it was certainly good. He must have been missing out on a lot, not teaming up with senshi like this more often. It would make battles so much more effective.
"That's really incredible magic you have there!" He said, meaning it, "I've never seen anything like it! You're very lucky, and should be proud of your gift. At the very least, a little more confident."

Cybele’s awkward smile became much broader. “Really? Well, thank you!” She considered her now empty hands before putting them back at her sides. “I like my magic and I love being a senshi, but I’m still not really used to the magic thing at all. You’ve really never seen anything like it?” Sure, being special was nice, but being alone usually wasn’t. “It makes it even weirder, especially since my magic’s so intimidating. I’ve only used it once, for real. I used it on the Senshi of Tigers, Tsui, and she got really mad about it and then about some other things…” Cybele giggled at the memory, not bothering to mention how mad she’d been herself. Maybe in the future she’s get even better stories about how people reacted, as long as they didn’t get scared. She couldn’t stand that. “It was fine, though. I guess it will be easier once I get used to it.” She shrugged, then turned back to the knight. “You seem pretty strong, though I don’t know how long you’ve been in this war. Are you proud?”

Camelot smiled and nodded his head, feeling glad that she was eager to go on patrol and to work together. Some senshi did not understand the idea of knights, though he felt they were easy to get. They were there to help, and to keep peace in a time of war. It was a difficult task, but Camelot, at least, served as a knight dutifully and happily.
"Well, I imagine getting shot at, but a real bow or not, is difficult to get passed," he laughed.
His next goal was to simply get down from the rooftop without getting stuck or embarrassing himself again, and he felt he had a pretty good chance of succeeding but was not counting out his notoriously bad luck in that regard.
"Strong? Maybe. I suppose you get that way, after fighting every day. I can't even think how long it's been, exactly. But the only pride I take is from seeing people saved, lives spared. And seeing young senshi, like you, and other knights grow strong themselves. I feel the most proud knowing that this city is in good hands."

Cybele watched him carefully as he gave his speech about protecting the city. He sounded sincere and noble, exactly like the knight in shining armor that he was. At least somebody was confident that they were doing the right thing. She looked away. “Saving lives? I haven’t done anything like that… And you just said I’m not strong yet.” She shrugged and turned away, walking towards the edge of the roof. She felt like she was going to say something stupid if she didn’t leave soon. “I’m trying to practice, and get stronger and help people, but…” She hesitated. What was she going to say? That she didn’t know if she was even doing the right thing? No, she didn’t want to wipe the small smile off Camelot’s face. She’d rather have him be proud of her. “I… I don’t know. I have to go.” She looked down and froze. It wasn’t that high. With her senshi powers, she’d be able to jump down easily, but it didn’t feel like it. She decided against a dramatic exit and turned around to look for a better way down.

"Er. Well. I didn't mean you weren't strong yet, but you'll get stronger. You... ah... uhm. No, you can save lives now, it's what you were awakened for. I mean, I think so at least, not everyone agrees. Oh dear, I didn't mean to imply..."
He scratched the back of his neck, following her carefully as she walked to the edge of the roof. He watched her thoughtfully, understanding how she felt, he imagined. Confused, maybe, there was some kind of hesitance in her. He wasn't sure what it was though.
"If you must," he said with a nod, not wanting to push her. He took her place at the edge of the roof, though he was watching her and not looking down.
"Understand this, though. You're young. You're new to this fight, still learning and still finding your place. Your being awakened, though, isn't a mistake, and as scary as it might seem now, you have the strength inside you to do whatever you feel is right. And you'll have people like me, if you ever need help." He smiled, thinking that was what was bothering her, being overwhelmed. He stepped backwards, waving, and dropped off the roof.

Cybele turned Camelot as he spoke. She smiled and nodded a bit weakly. His speech was encouraging, and it was nice to know there were people who would help her if she needed them, but she was still unsure. If he had waited a few more seconds until jumped off the room, she would have admitted it, but once he jumped off dramatically she lost her nerve. Instead, she said down into the street below, "To do what I think is right? Well... I'll do my best.Goodbye." Her voice sounded strong. The rest of her felt strong too, strong enough to fight anything at least. She could use helpful magic and almost jump onto roofs in one bound. Her mind, though... that wasn't any different than before, when she wasn't a senshi, and that was the most important thing of all. She sat on the roof for a long time, wondering about what was right and what she could do. Then she thought about all the people that were there for her, who she was trying to support in return. It made her feel better, but her mind was still buzzing when she crossed the roof and started carefully climbing down the other side. Lithia_Brandon The end? And sorry about that.
